Searching (Yumi)

Astareall had a good idea of how to get more elementals. It was... dangerous, but interesting. She may need a little help, but it may be worth it. This would be fun, but she would have to ask a favor of... she shuddered at the thought. That guy was disgusting, but it would be more fun to have it as manipulative as possible. This could be the way he paid her back for a distraction... Snapping out of her little brain blast, she looked at Xander. "This is just the entrance way to true death. Once you go to the ninth precinct and you see the stars, you go into unaccesible death. Once there, you are there forever. So, what I basically just did, was send him into his final resting place." Astareal sighed. Her temper sure was unpredictable. Looking at Xander, she grinned. "I have someone who might help us, but I'm not sure. If we can get into the castle, we can find some elementals there. If we... treat them correctly.... we can get them to help us. I'm in this now, too. I have a very boring life. Therefore, you're stuck with me. First we have to go find one named Akuma and see if he can see memories of people..." In spots Astareal's voice was menacing, but thoughtful. The wonderfully magnificent blend of good will and evil. She did love getting into trouble.....

Xander listened to Astreal not liking what she was suggesting at all. It sounded like she intended to use and manipulate people. "no..thats not nice...there must be a different way."

Akuma from a distance away had been monitoring the two for a while. He found the Necromancer interesting and wanted to learn more about her. Seeing her in a place like this made him think something was going on. Not wanting to risk her plotting something against him or any other annoying things, he listened to their conversation. Also the demon probed their minds to find information on what they didn't say. He smiled with a mix of pride and mischievousness when his name was brought up. How pleasant that she needed his help. This would allow him to pay off a dept but also giving him the satisfaction that she needed his help. The demon decided to reveal himself to the two. "Ever hear the saying 'speak of the devil and he shall appear'? Well i think it is quite fitting, don't you?" He said grinning.


Xander backed away from the demon. The hybrid had a bad feeling about this guy. If this was the person Astreal was talking about then it definitely wouldn't be a good idea to go through with what she planned.

The demon continued to grin at the boys reaction. "Aww come on, i don't bite. " Akuma teased. Flipping his hair he sighed. "Don't bother me with the boring explanations i already know whats going on. And yes i shall help you as i am bound by honor to. " He told them before either of them said anything more.

((I'm not evil. Just... maliciously creative. I don't have a crush on him but he is pretty awesome. My mom told me why the evil gys are always adorable. Because evil is tempting. ))

Astareal's emotions changed swiftly from miscief to boredom. What a dweeb. And yes, she had heard of that, but why tell him? It made no sense, considering how he was probably inside her head right now. "So then I'm guessing you can sift through memories? If that's the case, then... I'll tell you later." Looking at Xander, seeing his obvious apprehension toward this, she put a hand on his shoulder. "Don't worry. Force will only be used if nessecary. Talking will come first. But, honestly, how many do you think will want to turn against them?" She had no doubt in her mind that Xander knew what she was talking about. Akuma, however, probably knew, too. It was at that moment where Astareal wished that she could read minds. How fun that would be! Then she would be so much more powerful... but too much power was a bad thing. It corrupted your mind. Therefore, she was glad she didn't have that ability.

"I'm going to bring up a spirit right now, you're going to tell me what my mother looked like, and that spirit will shift into what she looked like. That's all I really want you to do. Make my puppets look like dearly missed family members." Astareal had no mother. Her parental units were marble and lightning. Which was her mother, she had no idea. Hence she figured that if he figured out this one, he would be able to do it with elementals.

(( lol yeah i guess in a way evil can be fun and tempting. I still wouldn't want to date an evil guy no matter how cute they may be.))

Xander listened to Astreal talk to the guy. He really didn't like where this was going. It was too mean.

Seeing how the necromancer seemed to have a soft spot for the kid, he figured he should play along. If she cared what he thought that much then the little runt could easily ruin the plan. There for he would have to try to get the boy to agree. "I can understand why you might not want to do this. After all, you know how it feels to be used, right? However sometimes you have to be a little bit cruel in order to prevent more cruelty. I think this is a small price compared to what will be gained in return. And like Astreal said we will talk to the elementals first, we may not need to do this, they may join because they want to." Akuma said in a fatherly way. Children were so easy and fun to manipulate. Reading Astreals mind he pouted "Oh come on that's no fair......... how can i describe your parents if they are a hunk of rock and lightning."

Xander listened to the demon. For some reason his earlier uneasiness disappeared. The guy seemed less scary now and more like a person. The boy supposed what they were saying made sense but he still didn't really like it. " i guess if there is no other choice. Nobody will be hurt right?"

Akuma smiled a sweet smile. "of course not. Scouts honor." Meanwhile thinking: Stupid boy. Physically they wont hurt, but emotionally..they will hurt a lot once they realize it was all a sham. This would be fun having elementals fight against the queens because their 'relatives' told them to.

(( Can i make it so Akuma already killed two of the queens. Just for fun i guess but also because i have an evil idea of my own. ))

((KILL? That's a bit drastic, and if they did, the other ninnies would be freaking out and killing everyone. . Hows about just hiding them away and the other idiots haven't figured it ut yet? Like, not dead, but.... seemingly dead and gone?))

Astareal grinned lightly. This was a wonderful plan. Smiling, she thought about how much fun this could be. That and she would learn more about the extent of Akuma's abilities. "Okay, then. It's nice to know that you actually have a brain in there. What does his mother look like?" Astareal pointed a finger at Xander. Perhaps if he picked out the lightning bit, he could figure out what Xander's mom looked like. If the boy even remembered. Astareal folded her arms and looked the slightest bit bored. Sighing, she tapped her foot ever so slightly. This was going to be interesting. Hopefully nothing went wrong. That couldn't be allowed to happen, considering the extent of the crime.

(( aww......... then that won't work. My plan was that by having two of the queens dead the elemental ability would go with them...leaving certain elementals powerless. ^_^ But thats ok.))

"Of course i have a brain i'm not stupid." Akuma said slightly insulted. He looked at the boy and shook his head not even bothering to look. The problem with reading peoples minds was that you could only find out information they knew. Since the boy had been raised by the queen, it was unlikely the hybrid remembered his parents. Therefor there was no way Akuma could figure out anything about the kids parents...at least not from Xander. If somebody else knew he could get that information from them. "I'm good but not that good. If he doesn't know who his parents are then there is no way i can get that information. I can't read something that isn't there."

Xander watched the two wondering exactly what kind of relationship they had. How did they meet? And why did they both seem so interested in what was going on. Neither of them seemed to be affected by anything that happened so what reason did they have to stop the queens? Something was going on but the boy just didn't know what. What they had suggested was horrible.....yet they promised it wouldn't hurt and it would be a last resort. But could he trust them? Should he even stay around? This was a hard position to be in: on one hand he needed elementals to fight the queens but on the other if getting elementals meant manipulation...........then wouldn't they be just as bad as the queens?

"I'm not going to do this.... i know some elementals so i will ask them. I just can't be a part of this." The boy said backing away from them. He wanted to believe Astreal was good, especially after all the nice things she did before, but Xander was not so sure anymore. If he was going to be good, then he couldn't let people trick him into doing bad things......even if the end result was good. Thinking about it he wondered if this feeling of caring about someone so much you want them to be good, even if they were bad..was what Ying felt towards him. Then he now understood how disappointed she must have been. Changing into something fast he escaped before anything else could happen. The hybrid would find someway to get elementals without being bad.

Akuma raised an eyebrow at the boys reaction. He had expected it but seeing it was different. If he had a heart he might of pitied the boy but he didn't. The only thing on the demons mind was how troublesome the creatures mind was. It was so confusing and hard to read sometimes, especially when everything was moving so quickly. He wasn't so sure if a little boy having so many thoughts and memories was so healthy. One thing that was clear was that for some reason the kid liked the necromancer. Perhaps they had some kind of bond.....maybe the boy saw the women as a mother? The demon chuckled at that thought. "Well i guess were going to be doing this alone." The white haired guy said smiling pervertedly at Astreal. Sure it was annoying that the pest ditched them but that just meant that they would have to work slightly more harder. Also he would get to be alone to play with Astreal more, how fun.

Astareal was disappointed that Xander had to go. She somehow was managing to hate the kid for leaving her with him, the little snot that was extremely unpredicatble. "Wipe that filthy grin off your face before I smack it off." The woman smiled, and looked around. "How are we going to go about doing this? I mean, we'll have to get into the castle... or else we could go find some random strays. But I think that the challenege would be more interesting and fun." Astareal shrugged. This ought to be at least slightly interesting. That and if there could be something to do with the dead, everything was even more exciting. Therefore, she drew her sword and studied the blade. Looking at the strange demon, she laughed just to imagine some of the reactions one could get from her thoughts. Therefore, she could probably influence him a little by thinking some rather... disturbing things. Or she could think of butterflies and ponies. Aything that would encourage intense emotion in him.

((The origin of the power is from the nymphs, it's like a gift bestown onto specific humans. This created a race that can breed and have children with specific elemental abilities. The nymphs regulate that power, keep it under control. They aren't nessecarily completely in charge of it, but they can take that power and cut it down so that it's nearly gone.))

Akuma kept smiling at her reaction. True her mind was a little twisted...but it didn't really bother him. He had already done far worse then what ever he would find in the necromancers head. "I plan to follow you anywhere you go sexy." The demon said. He couldn't resist adding the sexy comment. It would be fun to see how she would react to that. "So whats with the kid anyway? Why did you want him to come? The pest is clearly to soft to go along with what you were plaining." The demon wondered just how far their relationship went. If they had any sort of bond it could be useful....or it could be bad for him. It depended on what was going on and what the demon decided to do. He figured out that the kid liked Astreal..........but he couldn't figure out if Astreal had any feelings for the kid. Perhaps she didn't even know if she did or not.........or maybe she just liked playing around like he did.

Astareal looked at Akuma like he was nuts. Really? Doing a mental face palm, she rolled her eyes and shook her head. "You really do think you're hot stuff, don't cha?" The woman had to grin, however. The demon was just so... charming, maybe? Flattering? Sheerly idiotic, trying to butter her up? That was more like it. Oh, well. As far as that went, she wouldn't mind having more of it. As the questions came in about Xander, she was unsure about what to reveal. Heck, she barely even knew what was with that. "The kid is adorable and he isn't completely moronic, like some others seem to be. He's not a bad kid and he is rather brave, stronger than he looks, I'll grant you that.I'm only doing this to help him. If you get any ideas, smart one, I'll crack you one right across the face." Astareal grinned playfully and started off in the general direction of the castle. This was going to be a long, boring walk, unless Akuma could magically pop up some random sort of thing that goes fast using his mind powers. She doubted, that, though. Her nose twitched, she smelled death. How pleasant. Too bad it wouldn't come in handy. That and, judging by the environment, it was probably a simple, peaceful death. Those were no fun.

Akumas smile broadened. "I love feisty people like you."He said following her. The demon loved playing around with her. Catching up to her he put his arm around her shoulders. Sure he would probably get slapped but it was worth the fun he was having. "What about us? Am i adorable to?" The demon asked smiling innocently. He might as well find out what she thought of him if they were going to be working together. It was interesting that the witch had feelings for the kid.........maybe it was a women thing. She was young so perhaps her maternal instincts had started kicking in. He mentally shook his head, why should he care what Astreal felt about the runt?

The demon continued "Ain't long night walks relaxing? Maybe we can sit and watch the stars a while? Or if you prefer we could 'get to know' each other better?" The whited haired guy grinned his usually perverted way and prepared for the slap that would most likely come.

Astareal looked at the kid. Truly, he was something else. He didn't even have a category to fit into, unless, of course, it was a metal bin that said 'Junk'. She giggled at the thought. Of course, that might get on his nerves a little... or he might enjoy it. Knowing him, he'd probably enjoy it. She didn't mind the arm around the shoulder, he was rather warm, but what he said took it just a little too far. She didn't know what to do. Closing her eyes, she balled her hand into a fist and took it back at full force, gritting her teeth. Hopefully it had hit him in the stomach where it was supposed too. "Must you really say stuff like that? I'm sure that a lot of other girls would want to 'get to know you better', if you asked them." Astareal opened her eyes and looked at Akuma. She was tempted to set him straight, but that wasn't going to happen. She didn't feeling like being a jerk right now, so that was probably a good thing, on his part. She had tons of handy dandy insulting words in her arsenal. "Perhaps if you'd start thinking with the right head you would fare better in life." And she left it at that, walking on.

Akuma clutched his stomach. The girl had quite the unexpected strength. It was still worth it though. The demon smiled at her insult. He actually found it rather funny. "But what if your the only girl i want?" He pointed out innocently when he caught up to her. They were getting closer to the castle, so play time was over for now. They had to get serious or else they could get killed.

Astareal looked at Akuma. That was probably a lie. It was a good thing that he got hit. Perhaps that would discourage him, but she doubted that. He'd probably keep it right up. But, it was probably time to plot a little before just going right up there and busting down the door or something of the sort. She didn't even have any dead people. And it would be best to wait until the next night, when the darkness was fresh. That way, she would have plenty of time.
