Xander returned to the place where he had first met the elemental twins. Hoping they would be here because the boy had no idea where else to look. As he wandered around through the trees he tried to think of how to approach them. This was no small favor and would be down right dangerous. But the queens had to be stopped and according to the wind queens nephew, elementals were needed.
The problem other then the danger was the possibility of them losing their powers. If the Queens found out what they were up to then their powers would be taken away forever. He wasn't so sure if anyone would be willing to accept that risk. So far Armagaddon and Ambrosia were the only elementals he knew. The hybrid had no choice but to ask them. And if they didn't want to do it they might at least be able to point him it the right direction of finding others.

Ambrosia looked around. This was all to boring. Her life sucked, in more than one way. Plopping down in the soft, squishy grass, she looked up at the sky. Why could things so beuatiful belong in such a crappy world? She sighed. Of course, she was a wee bit depressed. She hadn't seen hide nor hair of her brother all day, and she couldn't hellp but be worried. Normally he popped up somewhere, just to show his face and say hello. Somehow, he always managed to annoy her.
The girl sighed once again. Normally she would've been out doing something. Why was she doing this? She needed a boyfriend or something. But that wasn't going to happen, because mother (Armageddon) wouldn't allow it. Why did he have to do that? Maybe it would change after he kissed a girl. Such a little twerp. Grumbling something inaudible, she began to mess around with a small ball of fire. Why not? It wasn't like it was the dry season or anything. (It was.)

Xander noticed Ambrosia laying on the ground. Curious about what she was doing he came closer. She seemed kind of bored. The hybrid looked around wondering where her brother was. Usually they were together. "hi." Perhaps taking it slow would be better. Normal conversation first and then when the girl was in a better mood he would try asking.

Ambrosia looked at the kid. Xander, right? "Hi." Her voice wasserious, and she didn't even bother to continue looking at him. She seemed grumpy and mad about it, but she wasn't. She was actually quite thrilled to have someone else here who wasn't totally annoying. She could tolerate the kid, as long as he didn't get annoying. Which was doubtable, unless he said something completely stupid. Any way you looked at it, it was nearly impossible to win. She told herself that she would be nice to the kid, for innocence's sake.

"are you ok?" The boy asked. Xander cautiously sat down near her, not to close but close enough to be heard. Something seemed to be on the girls mind and he was concerned. Maybe it had something to do with Armageddon not being there. She was kind of scary when she got mad and he really didn't want to get her mad. He looked up at the sky, that was covered up by the trees but through a small gab stars could be seen.

Ambrosia looked at the kid again. He must've been full of compassion or something, to ask her a question like that. Normally no one else would've cared. "I'm fine. Just a little... well, I don't know." She didn't know. How to explain it? She didn't want to. Maybe that was why she couldn't. Hopefully she wasn't bringing down his mood any. She didn't want to do that. She didn't want to cause anyone else pain or suffering. She hadn't being the cause of trouble, especially emotional. UGH!

Xander without a word pulled Ambrosia into a hug. He just thought it was the right thing to do. Ying had told him once that it was a good way to make people feel better. He broke the hug quickly suddenly feeling embarrassed. It was kind of strange, he wasn't use to that kind of contact with people. Not only that but he didn't even know her that well. Hopefully Ambrosia wouldn't get mad and hurl a fire ball at him or something.

Ambrosia looked at the kid like he had a brain issue. Immediatley wiping the look off her face, she shook her head. "You must have an awful big heart to do that to someone you've only seen once." She studied Xander momentarily, wondering why he would even care. It was strange how much random people could care about someone else's emotions. Either that or most of them were like her brother, who cried when other people cried. Thinking of that only made her more grumpy, knowing that the little twerp wasn't here. Probably off talking to his 'girlfriend'.

Xander caught the look and started to wonder if he should have done that. At her comment he gave her a confused look. "is that good or bad?" He hoped it wasn't bad...Because it did sound kind of bad and painful. Silently he looked up at the stars while he waited for an answer. The boy wondered what he should do now. Ambrosia was having a bad day...and it wouldn't be nice to ask her to risk her life at a time like this. Actually it wasn't nice at all, but he didn't have a choice.
He wondered if Astreal was still planning on manipulating elementals to help...........he hoped not. Maybe he should have done something instead of just leaving her with that creepy white demon. The hybrid hoped that he did the right thing but he wasn't so sure. Even though he wasn't helping them....wasn't it just as bad if he didn't stop them? Too many questions and no where near enough time to try to work through them all. He made a decision and now he would just have to go with it what ever happens.

Ambrosia looked at Xander. Obviously he had misunderstood. She sighed and put her hand on her forehead, before looking at the boy sympathetically. "When someone says that you have a big heart it doesn't mean you have a severe medical condition. It's a good thing that means that you are a caring, considerate, thoughtful person." The girl had to smile. She was amazed at what that child didn't know. He seemed to have a reason to be here, so why didn't he just speak up?

The boy was relived that it wasn't bad. He smiled sheepishly. "thanks." He wondered where Armageddon was. It was strange the he wouldn't be there. Xander didn't want to bother her about it. If she knew where Armageddon was then she probably would have went after him. He continued looking up at the stars not sure what to do now. The boy wasn't really good at starting conversations with people. He preferred to wait for someone to speak first.

Ambrosia enjoyed the silence for a moment, before she started to get creeped out. Silence was only all right when there was someone to break it. "So then, what brings you here? It wasn't just to talk to me, was it?" The girl studied the small kid for a moment, thinking to herself. This was strange. Normally people didn't come trotting up to talk to her. It was abnormal. No one usually bothered to give her company unless they thought of using her or she had taken a liking to them. Then again, Xander wasn't that bad. Apparently, he knew it.

The boy sighed inwardly. Xander had expected it would only be a matter of time before she asked that. Unfortunately it came too soon for him. He had hoped to have more time to think of a reason. The hybrid didn't want to appear as if he only came for her help. Temper aside she was a nice lady and he didn't want her to feel bad. Looking at her he wondered what he should say. What he was doing was really unfair and mean. It was awful to ask people he barely knew for help. Their feelings would surly be hurt if they thought that he was only bothering them for that. "It's nothing. You seemed lonely and i thought you could use the company." It was the truth it really was.....just not all of it.
He wondered if he should leave and find some other way to fight the queens. Maybe get help from people he knew and knew him...But he couldn't do that for two reasons. One he didn't want them to get hurt and two they thought he had betrayed them. Why did everything have to be so hard? He held his head with one of his hands trying to press down an on coming head ache.

Ambrosia told herself that she was going to have nothing of that foolishness. Someone looks loney so they just come up and start a conversation. This was arguably one of the worst times to let her temper get the best of her. Forcing her mouth to remain silent, she didn't let anything but an annoyed huff escape. Somehow she knew that Xander wasn't telling the whole truth. It was just one of those feelings. "It ain't like I'm going to kill you for telling the truth." She was trying to calm herself down, but the fire inside had been raised just a little too high.

Xander winced slightly. He could tell she was getting angry. "I'm sorry..i just didn't want to bother you with this. You seemed so upset already." He started but broke off. This felt so wrong.....it wasn't fair to ask so much of someone he only meant once. Thinking about her comment the boy had to wonder if it was true. The red head did have a temper problem. Taking a deep breath he told her everything, he at least owed her a complete explanation before she made a decision. He closed his eyes preparing for the worse.
(( and by everything i just mean the part with astreal and the elemental thing. I just didn't want to write it all.))

Ambrosia nodded along with the story. Of course. Everyone needed help of some sort. She didn't know what to think, how to feel, or, more importantly, how to react. This was completely shocking. She didn't know if she would have it in her to go up against the queens. Not after they had been so nice to her. But, then again... she sighed. What would happen after they were all gone? How would any of that work? This was dumb. She didn't know what to do. Turn against the ones who founded her or... ruin them. Sure, they were unfair, but they weren't as bad as the humans had previously been. But... "I'll have to think about it." Her eyes were closed. She was swarming with thoughts. Did she risk her life and help the kid or... this was completely horrid.
