Lucien was tied to a tree. He was uncomfortable. This vampire that captured him was a jerk. He was also in for it when Lucien finally found a way to get free. He had tried everything he could think of, and the stupid rope he was bound with still wouldn't break. Dang indestructable crap. This wasn't fun, nor did he plan on doing it again anytime soon. It had been a while since he had last ate, and he had to keep a Vampire for fear of starvation. It took the pain away. It was almost as if his captor didn't think he was skinny enough. That was a rather stupid thought.
Lucien wriggled around a little. His hands were bound, his mouth was gagged. He was helpless. He didn't like being helpless. He felt like ripping free and ripping things to shreds. Too bad he couldn't do that. Whereever that dude got his rope, it was good stuff. The prince couldn't break it no matter how many times he tried.

The twins crept silently through the trees in their wolf forms. Lucien had been missing for days and they have been tracking him down since. Things were really starting to get bad. The weather was cold and wintery all the time and people were going hungry. That and there have been rumors of undead zombies praying on people. Worst of all the queens attacked Vaccelem town once again and destroyed it completely, very few people survived. Everyone was losing hope and they desperately needed a leader. The twins knew that if anyone could help Lucien could but first they had to save him...
Ying turned back into a girl and want over to where Lucien was. The rope was thick and protected by strong magic. For something like this her enchanted necklaces could work but in order to generate enough power to destroy the magic on the rope she would have to break the necklaces. It was sad that such a precious gift would be lost......but it had to be done. Once the magic was gone the girl turned into her werewolf form and used her claws to cut the rope. Then she turned back into a human and removed the gag from Lucien's mouth. "Shh Don't talk we have to leave now." She said pulling on his arm. Her brothers warning howl heard among the wind. The kidnapper was coming back and they had to leave right away.

Lucien was a bit relieved. Although part of him wanted to leave, another part wanted to stay. Thinking it best for him, he shook his head and followed after Ying. This was a bunch of balogna. He shouldn't have to be rescued. That was a position for someone with lower status, someone who was female. Maybe that was just a bit stereotypical, but he couldn't care less. Being rescued wouldn't exactly look good on his leadership resume. Then again, it happened to everyone, right? Hopefully.
The man would track them, trying to regain his captive. When he did show his face, even though he was a vampire, the guy was going to get at least one black eye if Lucien had any say in it. He followed after the twins as a human, pricking his finger and dotting every random little tree with blood. Hopefully that would drive the guy insane. At least, that's what he was hoping. Shifting into a Werewolf, that way his scent might blend a bit more with the twins, he followed along after them.

Once she was sure they were alone Ying pulled Lucien into a hug. After a while she broke the hug and spoke. "I'm glade you alright. We really need you right now. Me and Yang managed to recruit some people for the rebellion, their waiting for you at the inn. But i'm not sure if it will work there is so much going on right now and everyone is scared.....i'm afraid that without someone to lead them they will just give up."
Nobody would take a girl her age seriously. The only people they were able to gather were people they knew and even so the werewolf girl wasn't sure if they would follow what she said. Someone strong was needed to lead people. True, her and her brother were stronger then they looked but people unfortunately judged mainly on looks. So of course nobody would follow two teenage kids. Finding people was one thing, leading them was another. Plus the girl didn't like the idea of bossing people around. Sure sometimes it was fun to pretend and think about controlling everyone........but her personality really wasn't suited for leadership.
Yang who was now in human form as well was just looking in the direction they came from in case they were followed. What Ying was saying about people needing a leader was true and made sense. He just wasn't sure if that leader was Lucien.........Lucien was strong and protective but the man wasn't that good with his manners. People need to feel like their leader respects and cares about them. Though the werewolf supposed that people were so desperate and confused it wouldn't really matter who lead them. They hated the life they had now and would settle for anyone who could change it. The thing was that Lucien was the only one they knew would be able to achieve something like this...and he was the rightful heir so it was only fair.
Plus nobody would let themselves be lead into a battle with two kids as their generals. Even if people did accept them as leaders the boy wasn't sure if ether him or his sister would be able to fulfill that role. Ying was too hyper and childish, and he was too quiet and hesitant. He wasn't much into fighting unless it was to protect someone and much rather think about every possible outcome before making a move. Something that could be very dangerous on a battle field. Also when it came to his sister he could act irrationally and even impulsive. That could also be really bad when leading an army.

Lucien stood there for a moment while she hugged him, unmoving. He wasn't sure what to do, he was too wrapped, too encased, in thought. He wasn't sure how this was going to work. He didn't really want all that many people involved, but... to have a war, you needed soldiers. To have soldiers, you needed recruits. Recruits were people. People could die. Life was fragile. This was not only stressing him out, but it was rather frustrating, too. He was going to have to deal with it, though. Not everything in life that had to be done was fun, though.
"So that's what I missed? Anything else?" Lucien wasn't really ready to lead a full scale rebellion, but if the people were ready and things were getting worse, then it was time to act. There were bound to be a bunch of things that could be put to use; weapons, armor, people. Everyone who wanted to could pitch in. The man's ear twitched. Hopefully the creep who had captured him was going nuts over the blood. That would be nice. His revenge on that man could wait until later. He had a group of rebels to instruct.
"Well then, let's go see these rebels. I don't think they know what they're in for, though." Lucien rubbed his temples gingerly, realizing that he was hungry and had a headache. Perfect. He was going to have to think of the correct way to approach these people, the correct way to ensnare them into fighting. To convince them to sacrifice their lives. Every war had risks, the ones that took the correct risks normally came out victorious. That was how this was going to be.

The twins lead Lucien to the inn were a small group of people stood waiting. There wasn't nearly enough people to do what they needed to do but it was a start. Hopefully once a definat leader in place more people would join up.
While they walked Ying explained the situation to Lucien. Everything from Vacclium town, winter and everything else. It was a lot to take in and she felt really bad for giving Lucien all this to think about. But there was no choice they had to end this cruelty.
Jade was sitting at the far end of the inn watching everyone. She wasn't sure why she was here helping random people she didn't know. Perhaps it was because she wanted revenge and she knew that she couldn't do it alone? Or maybe she didn't want anyone to suffer anymore? The elf wasn't sure which it was, it could be both. Though she didn't know why the twins picked that grumpy old man to be their leader.

((Started with the grumpy old man already? lol))
Lucien listened patiently. Once Ying was done speaking, he looked up. Great. Only a few people, so recruiting more people was going to be needed. That was going to be the main priority. He didn't know where to start with the people, so he decided that if he just started with an introduction people could go by that. "I'm Lucien. I'm a prince. The human prince. Hope you don't mind." The people would have to digest that for a moment, he knew, especially the ones who lived past the rule of the humans. The humans were, arguably, a bit worse than the nymphs are. He let that fact settle in for a moment, then looked up and studied the faces. He refused to be discouraged by some of the looks resting upon their faces. If there were any humans, they all had small little smiles gracing their features. There weren't many of those.
"If you want to overthrow a rule of power, you're going to have to do something remarkable. This isn't going to be a simple walk in the park. There will be blood, and some of you will lose your lives. You're going to have to use everything you have to take those four women out of power. You're going to have to get your friends to help. In a situation like this, you can't go at it alone. Then again, I'm probably just stating everything everyone already knew, right?" Lucien thought for a moment. They were going to need a lot of different things to make this work. Lucien, personally, would need a nap and some food. As for everyone else, starting with battle plans and such would be a reasonable approach. Either that or they could get officially signed up for this war. Perhaps one of them would have a decent idea?

(( thats jade. XD))
"You expect us to believe your the actual heir to the throne? " Jade scoffed. The skinny stick man that looked more like a girl was the prince? " Not to mention that your a human.........how are we to know that you aren't going to end up being just as bad as the queens if not worse? After all humans don't exactly have a good record of being nice either. Maybe some other race should try for rule instead? " The elf thought the guy was a jerk ever since she met him. She didn't want to risk her life for someone like him.....he would have to prove himself first.
The twins looked from Lucien to the group nervously. It wasn't looking that good, for some of them were old enough to remember how the rule of the past humans was. They really hoped Lucien could think of a way to prove himself to these people.
"He isn't like the other humans were. Actually he has other blood in him too. The blood of a vampire and a werewolf to. So he understands the pains that all three of those races experience. I believe this trait will make him a decent ruler. A ruler has to be able to see things from many diverse angles in order to make a good judgment. And you can't get much more opposite then having were, vamp, and human blood. Plus he has save our lives and others lots of times without asking for anything in return." Ying said trying to help ease the crowd. She wasn't sure if mentioning that Lucien was almost a hybrid was a good idea or not. But it seemed worth a shot.
Yang thought that Jade was bringing up a reasonable point. It was something that likely everyone else was thinking but was too afraid to bring up. Sure the elf had a temper but she was powerful. They would need at least one elemental in the fight. Plus something made him think that she wasn't as bad as she made herself seem. She was still rather scary though.

"Believe me if you want to then. You are one person, and anyone in the right mind wouldn't want to claim that they are the heir unless they wanted to die." Some of the people, he knew, still had extremely hard feelings for the humans. That couldn't be changed, he knew. If that dang elf kept talking like that, though, Lucien was going to get irritated and leave her to do this herself. He couldn't help but to feel grumpy. She was bossy enough to lead an army. He shouldn't be thinking such thoughts. It was a bit of a bad habit. He'd have to work on breaking it some other time.
Once Ying was done sticking up for him, he looked over the faces once more. It seemed that a few didn't really care who lead them, some others were happy, and others weren't quite wure how to feel yet. That was fine. They would learn to trust Lucien, or they would have to deal with not trusting him. If they didn't trust him, they probably wouldn't fight as well, though. That wouldn't be acceptable.
"We only have a small amount of time to do this, so we need to get to work. Anymore comments, questions, or concerns? I'll give you my word that I'm not going to be a harsh ruler like everyone else. Now are you going to allow me to lead you or not?" The question was mainly directed toward Jade, who seemed to be speaking for the group.

"I suppose that makes sense but it still doesn't mean you would be an ok leader. But seeing as how were all here it means were just that desperate and will follow you anyway. Just don't screw it up." The elf responded coldly. Jade thought this was dumb and that there had to be someone better suited to lead. But seeing how there wasn't it seemed there really was no choice but to follow Lucien. Oh goody being bossed around by an old guy that hangs around with little kids.
She was worried for everyones safety and didn't want to see anymore innocent people die. She wasn't sure if trusting someone other then herself was a good idea. The stakes were so very high for everyone.....especially elementals like her. If the queens found out she was helping then she could either wind up dead or lose her powers forever. This was actually why she didn't want to be the leader. It is easier to hide ones involvement in something if they were just another face in a crowd. Being leader meant she would be out in the open and an easy target.
The twins didn't say anything. There was nothing they could say or do to make anyone follow Lucien. This was out of their hands now and only Lucien could decide what would happen next. Would they all die or would they be victorious? That decision rested with Lucien and what actions he took.

"I don't know if even I, the Great Mistake, could screw this up." Lucien liked being sarcastic and rude, but he figured it would be best if he attempted to be nice and to act more civilized now. That would be better for his well being and for the greater good of the people. Might as well prove his leader-ish talents now, right? "Well then, we're going to need a place to practice. How about we go to the Meadow? It's spacious enough to learn commands, to show everyone what you've got. We'll figure out who will be doing what and what position they'll take up."
This sounded like a good plan. The vampire would have to trace their tracks, therefore it would take him a while. Especially if Lucien lead the way. Then his scent would be even more masked by the people following him. He had a strange feeling that the man would find him, though. Lucien was a valuable item these days. Perhaps that was how he liked it to be, he hadn't figured that out yet. Perhaps all he was doing this for was attention? No, couldn't be. He wouldn't do that. Couldn't. That would make him seem horrid.

Jade rolled her eyes at his comment about not messing things up. Somehow that didn't make things any better. Standing up she waited for Lucien to lead the way. "shouldn't we find more people?" she asked suggestively. " Practicing is a good idea, but we still need more help."
Ying wondered if that guy was following them yet. Lucien left a blood trail.......so he must of wanted the guy to follow but why? That was kind of a stupid thing to do because that could put peoples lives at risk. However she didn't want to say anything for fear of upsetting the crowd and losing the small force they gained. Maybe she should just stay behind with Yang and take care of the guy themselves. Or perhaps Lucien could use his holoform to trick the guy into going somewhere far away from everyone else. She pulled Lucien down to her level and whispered this concern to him. If he was going to be leader he had to drop the macho guy act and stop picking fights at other peoples expense. There was no place for personal revenge when your leading others. It was fine if the only one who could get hurt was you but dragging other people into it was wrong.

"Recruiting people is easier when you know what you need. Sure, everyone could help, but if you have distinct things you're looking for it's easier to know where to look." That didn't mean they'd discriminate. If a werewolf wanted to join the force, even when they were looking for vampires, that'd be fine. The werewolf would be accepted. It was just nice to know how far you are away from making ends meet. Lucien looked around quietly, picking the closest trail to the meadow. He began to walk, but was pulled down by Ying before he could get anywhere.
"That guy won't follow us. He wouldn't dare do anything when I'm with a group of people. He's not that dumb." Lucien was confident that the guy wouldn't show up, mainly because his target was surrounded by people? Why make yourself known? It didn't seem right. Then again, that guy probably wasn't right in the head. Lucien had a feeling that the guy was going to show up when he was relatively alone again, if he hadn't decided to give up already.

The group of people that included Jade and the werewolf twins followed Lucien to the meadow. They stood there waiting patiently for instructions. Some, like the werewolf twins didn't know anything about fighting and weren't sure how they would be of any help. Others like Jade knew a few battle tricks mostly from experience but only self defense sort of things. Yet still others were highly skilled fighters but there were only about three of those. So with these varying skill levels it would be interesting to see what Lucien would do.

"Let's divide up into a few groups. Those who think they'd be best at fighting, go ove there. The ones that would be better with defense, stand over there. The ones that don't know anything, go in the middle." Dividing up into ranks would come first. Those that didn't know how to do much would need to be worked with, the others could go round up recruits and do other nessecary and less dangerous tasks until Lucien could find a good job to give them. If they could find a good spot for an archery unit, that would be nice. A cavalry, even a small one, would help. Ground soilders would be the abundance, with the defensive people mixed in wherever to help keep the fighters safe.

The small group of twenty people silently divided themselves up. There were only four people in the high skilled spot. Around seven people good at defensive fighting. The rest didn't know anything at all. Lucien would have a lot to work to do and not very much time to do it. The twins looked at each other solemnly slowly realizing the difficult situation they were in. The situation Lucien was in was particularly tough. It was hard to say how much time they had before someone found them out so the faster things got done was probably better. So maybe two weeks? It was hard to say, but it would definitely be hard for Lucien to be able to turn this small gathering into an army. Everyone would have to work really hard and most importantly will have to learn to trust each other.
"so your going to divide us into teams with each of the skilled fighters teaching everyone else right?" Jade asked questioningly. If that was the case she would really rather just go practice on her own. What she knew now should be enough to save herself and anybody else, right? But then again she wouldn't be a match for any of the queens at the level she was now.
The elf really didn't know or trust anyone here. The people here were only putting up with each other because they were all in the same powerless position and needed each other in order to win their freedom. This fragile connection could easily be shattered by one wrong word causing everyone to abandon the idea......or even fight among each other. So that Lucien had better be careful..........though Hiowie probably would say the same thing to her. She hoped the wolf would hurry up and come. She needed to have at least one person she knew and trust with her.
