Home Sweet Home (Yumi)

That was working as well as she had expected it to have... laughing quietly to herself, she rubbed her eyes for a moment. Her mascara was smeared now, and it looked like she had two black eyes. Perfect. Twitching vulnerably, she continued until she was laying on the ground, the twitches growing more and more constant. Standing up, she turned around, all stiff legged and such, like a zombie might be. Pivoting, her head flopped to one side, nearly touching her shoulder.

"Prepare... to.... DIE!" Astareal started towards a few, stiff, her arms held in front of her. For a moment people thought she was simply kidding, but soon they were thinking twice and starting down the stairs. A harsh sound came from Astareal's throat, and once everyone was hurridly traveling down the stairs, she pulled out her pipes. Playing Kibeth, everyone started moving around uncontrollably. Astareal stood and admired it for a moment, before looking at Akuma. This wasn't exactly all that fun. They weren't screaming enough yet. Sure, a few were, but not many... perhaps she did need to bring in the dead. Or, she was just underestimating her abilities at the moment.

Akuma quietly admired the chaos for a while. Then he joined in by bringing more illusions. The illusions he could summon had different stages. Some illusions were visual, some were sounds, and others were both. Usually visual or sound ones by themselves were enough to get people screaming. However sometimes like now there needed to be ones that could be seen & heard. So he set to work making more life like illusions which increased the amount of people screaming drastically.

Astareal stood on the bottom step and giggled quietly. That was rather entertaining. Perhaps there was some loot backstage. She wasn't one for stealing, but there might be something that is relatively interesting enough to 'borrow'. That would always be fun. Once the screaming hoard of people found the door, they all ran out screaming bloody murder in the streets. Perhaps that was a good thing. Then again, the owner would probably say it was all part of the show. Stupid things stupid people thought of the keep things going. Looking at Akuma, the woman winced at how suddenly quiet it had became. "What next?"

The demon sighed when all the people left. It was kind of disappointing that the people managed to get out so quickly. They would have to find something else to do now. "Well i might know of another place we can go. " Akuma said walking out of the theater. There was a graveyard somewhere around here. Sometimes graveyards had interesting things, for instants what was written on peoples gravestones. He found some of the things written on gravestones to be amusing maybe Astreal would to. That or she could find some bodies to play with.

"This is a romantic date." The woman smiled quietly to herself. She'd never been to this particular graveyard, but... this would be the prime place to summon an army of the dead. This had many, many, many more bodies than any other cemetary... this would work out rather well to her advantage. She found herself wishing that she had brought the bells. Hopefully there weren't any of those stupid flutes around here that stopped her from using the bell. She could destroy them but it would consume a lot of time and energy. Looking at the demon for a moment, she didn't really comprehend why he had brought her here. "So what do you plan on doing here? I thought you didn't like zombies." Technically none of them were zombies... yet.

Akuma smiled hearing her comment about the date but quickly covered it. "Yes it is true i hate those ugly things but you don't. So i brought you here because i knew you would like it. Think of it as a thank you for letting me stay with you. Plus some of the gravestones say how the person died, some of the deaths are really funny." He said shrugging. This area was nice and secluded, not very many people came here. It was a nice quiet place perfect for their.....sort of date.

"Well, I want to see what condition these bodies are in. Perhaps they aren't that bad... although plain skeletons are rather fun to toy with. Going into death, be right back." Astareal smiled, standing near a gravestone. Sure, the pipes wouldn't work as well, but it may be worth it. A fresh spirit was making it's way to the Second Precinct, but the woman stopped it before it could go any farther. She used Mosrael, then Saraneth to bring the little bugger back to life, all the while plummeting into the Second Precinct. Regaining her composure, she went back to the First Precinct and then into Life. Feeling a bit chilly as she unthawed, she looked around. Playing Saraneth once more, she felt the presence of a new undead source. Looking at Akuma she smirked. "You may want to move. Dead are stirring beneath your feet, in case you couldn't sense that." Sure enough, a finger poked through the soil, soon making itself into a hand. It waved at Astareal. The woman smiled and went over, grabbed the hand, and pulled on it. In a few moments, a Dead Hand was standing there, fully decomposed. A standing pile of bones.

Admiring her newborn soilder's confirmation, she looked at Akuma. "The skeletons work better in a battle. No flesh to pierce, therefore nothing to slow them down. Arrows don't work well, nor do anything else but running water." The Hand looked around. The Necromancer could sense its craving for Life. "If you're going to feed, do so inconspicously. Don't devour someone who is too important." The Hand set off, wandering through the trees. All in all, things were starting to look better everyday.

Akuma moved out of the way of the dead thing and looked at it with disgust. He had no idea how the woman could possibly like being around those things. "i'm glade you like it. So then is that all you plan to do here summon up dead things?" He asked although he knew the answer would probably be a yes. The demon looked at the stars thinking about what he should do next. Would now be a good time to bring up that thing....

(( "that thing" can be the bodies of the queens or them going to recruit elementals what ever you want. But i kind of like the first one better......more chaos. ^_^))

Astareal looked at Akuma quietly, thinking him to be a bit of a twerp at times. "I'm not going to risk summoning up more 'dead things' when I don't have my bells or my sword. The pipes aren't as strong as the bells, therefore it's only safe to have one Dead at a time. I'll just stick with Sticky until Yrael gets back with my new bell set." Astareal could tell that's what the cat was buying, just by his actions and thoughts. Their minds were sort of linked to each other, and she could tell what he planned on doing by listening in on his thoughts. Normally she had better things to do, though. The cat didn't think many eventful things up, anyways. The Necromancer's sense of the Dead was going nuts, and it was beginning to give her a slight headache. It would go away soon, however. These little migraines normally didn't last long.

Akuma nodded at her comment. He was actually relieved that he wouldn't have to put up with more dead things. "By the way incase you didn't feel it. If you go over to that big alter over there you will find the bodys requested. It took a long time they were very powerful....unfortunatly i was only able to preserve one of the bodies.......i didn't have much time before their servants came. It's the fire one, the strongest one of them all." The demon told her pointing to the alter. He smiled evilly at the thought of the chaos one could cause with the body of the queen. It would be a fun show to watch indeed....perhaps with luck this stunt would cause more people to turn on each other. Nothing like backstabbing drama to brighten his day.

Astareal thought for a moment. Then it all came flowing back into her crowded little mind. "Really? That's good. Really good. You only killed the one, right?" The woman couldn't sense who the body belonged to, but she could sense death. It was too strong here to pinpoint one person, anyways. She walked over to the alter and went inside. The place wasn't exactly beautiful, that was for sure. "I'll have to go fetch one of the Greater Dead. Then I can... perfect. This'll work well. Now I just need to pick a side." She grinned maliciously, talking to herself. Perhaps, hopefully, she'll be able to work with a bit of both. She'd have to make sure that she wasn't seen being involved with the 'queen', though. That probably wouldn't look all that great, because Astareal was a shady figure who not many knew about. That and the rebels probably wouldn't trust the 'queen', anyways. Hmmpf. This was going to be hard to plan. It needed to be just right...

"Where is that stupid cat? He's never around when you need him."

Akuma nervous smile. "..um actually i killed them all. I thought that's what you wanted. for me to kill them and bring me back the bodies. But as i said the servants were coming so i could only grab the one." The demon sighed. This was troubling he should have left at least one alive to avoid unnecessary suspicion. But he got so carried away that he killed all of them. Hopefully the women would make it worth it because he nearly lost his life doing it. He wondered though precisely what her plans were... He supposed he could easily just read her mind. But he really didn't like doing that unless he had a reason. Too much junk in peoples minds to sort through and really wasn't worth the effort if he could get the information other ways. "since i risked my neck bringing you that body do you think you can at least tell me what you plan to do?" He asked curiously.

"Can't. Mainly because I can't do it myself. If they are all dead, though, then who took over the rule? You were there. You should know." Astareal looked around. Her Hand was approaching, she could tell. He'd be back in a moment. Probably best to get the pipes out, just in case he decided to disobey her and eat Akuma. That wouldn't do, wouldn't do at all. He was still rather useful, would be for quite a while. Therefore, no Dead would be chewing on him if she had a say in it.

"You know, there are probably new nymphs. Someone has to inherit the job. After all, all that power has to be inherited by someone. The position is very important to the elementals." A few of the lower elementals that lived in the castle probably took up the position. They wouldn't be strong enough to do as much damage as the nymphs, and may not be hostile. Then again, they would still be fun to destroy.

"My guess is that one of the queens relatives inherited the position assuming there is any left. Many of their relatives are rumoured to have been killed or committed suicide. Though it doesn't really matter who takes power because i'm sure nobody would want the information of the queens being dead to be made public. I think it would be a good idea to keep this between us for now...after all you will be the 'queen' since you have her body. Maybe you should not allow some stranger to take over the throne now. After all isn't it better to have the evil you know as appose to the one you don't?" Akuma answered. He was hoping Astreal would play the queen for a bit just to see what happens. It would help the royal family gather up an army to plot revenge for the deaths of their queens. But also having one left would give them the strength they need to do it. Power and anger were a dangerous combination that would cause quite a fuss. Then there was the other side the rebels, who wanted to remove the queens from rule by force. Both sides hated each other and would surly go to war blaming each other for certain atrocities. His plan was to simply watch everyone kill each other. The demon just had to try and get Astreal to go along with it, because unfortunately he needed her for this to work.

"They wouldn't just let the empty throne sit, silly. They'd have someone take it over, but wouldn't allow anyone to speak of it. Those people can be all too secretive when they want to be, worse in times like these. They wouldn't allow such precious info to be leaked. Although, playing queen would be rather fun. Were there any witnesses to this one's death?" She wanted no wild cards in this situation, if she was going to take such a large risk. If she was discovered, she would be well known to all society. That wouldn't work out all that great, because then any movement of the Dead would be watched and taken more seriously. She liked doing things in privacy. "This is going to be rather hard. A queen said to be dead randomly pops back up? How's that gunna work?"

"Nobody witnessed it and from what i gathered that queen was not even suppose to be there. So as far as everyone is concerned she is just missing. All we would have to do is come up with a good story to explain her absents." Akuma said shrugging. He wasn't so stupid as to leave witnesses and he was careful to do his research before making his move. The demon only heard a little bit of info from the some of the guards when he sneaked into the castle. According to them the fire queens sisters were having a secret meeting regarding something and that the fire queen was not invited to take part. However it seemed the fire queen didn't like being kept out of the loop and had come to the meeting anyway. He was able to get into their meeting by posing as a slave being offered as a present by one of the lords the queens respected. Hopefully his humiliation and near death would pay off.
