Winter Dance (Open to all)

"Thank you," Trinity said, blushing a bit at the unexpected compliment. She had simply worn what she could find, which wasn't much. It seemed like everybody else was wearing their best, including Lucien. "You look very nice as well." A little bit scary, maybe, but nice.

Zurth grabbed her drink, and sniffed it. He sniffed it again. "It smells fruity, what does it taste like?" Zurth sniffed the drink again, and smiled. He was tempted to drink it, but he was unsure if it was for him or for her. Garoth ran off looking for somewhere to sleep, and somewhere to hide from everyone.

Lucien smiled a little in the darkness, showing off his white teeth. "Why thank you, Trinity." Lucien bowed his head a little, then straightened. Thinking for a moment, he looked toward the girl. Did he want to talk more, or just sit in silence? He would leave that up to the Vampire, the werewolf telling him to keep as quiet as possible, for no one could be trusted. The human in him was filled with thoughts and questions, wanting to be used for once in his lifetime.

"It tastes quite... strange. Exotic may be a word to describe it best, for I've never tasted anything like it. Try it yourself." Keykku said this somewhat quietly, swirling the cup around and watching the dark liquid in fascination. Taking another sip of it, she swished it around her mouth, trying to get all the taste out of it. "It may actually have a little hint of carrot in it." Looking up to Zee, she stared quietly, thinking about the drink and how he would look if he lost the hood.

Zurth raised his eyebrow. "Carrot? I don't think your tasting carrot" Zurth looked at the dark liquid. "It's probably wine, but with no grapes. Does it taste kinda sweet?" Zurth smiled and asked. It sure looked like a red wine. But if it tasted like carrots he didnt want to try it.

Wine had alcohol in it, right? "Perhaps it isn't carrot. It could be something else." Noticing that Zurth hadn't taken a drink yet, she began to wonder if he was going to taste it. Could wine actually be made without grapes? There were too many questions in the world, and too little answers. "Aren't you going to try it?" Keykku slapped the most innocent look on her face that she could muster, in hopes that the look would encourage him to take a drink. Occasionally it'd work, on some people.

Zurth couldn't help but smile at her innocent look. He sniffed it again. He brought the glass up to his mouth and took a small taste. "Sure is wine. I think there is a little orange in this, maybe a small amount of strawberries." Zurth took another sip. "Not bad." Zurth smiled, and began to relax.

Oranges and strawberries. Keykku hadn't even thought of that. Taking another drink of it herself, she began to sort out the individual tastes. "You're right. Now that you mention it, I can taste each individually. They taste pretty good together." Even though carrot had been way off, Keykku didn't care. It was a guess, after all. A grin emerged on her face as he smiled, somehow managing to make her mood brighten.

Zurth laughed a little. "I hope you don't mind a little alcohol, Keykku." Zurth took another sip, and smiled at her. He swished his drink around in its glass, and sniffed the glass again, enjoying the sweet smell. Zurth raised an eyebrow, and leaned over and sniffed Keykku. Enjoying the smell.

"This is the only one of these I'm having, otherwise I'm going to be stumbling home and disowned by a certain moody dragon." Keykku said this in all seriousness, she had such a low alcohol tolerancy that it was pathetic. Although she was kind of creeped out when Zurth smelled her, she laughed lightly and took another sip of her drink. "Do I smell like lilac? Or lavender?" Keykku asked, wondering if he knew his flowers.

Zurth laughed. "Well if you need help home I could assist you." Zurth gave a smile, and shrugged. "I don't know flowers, but I can tell you that you smell beautiful." Zurth winked, and took another sip of his drink.

"I won't be needing any help home, but it do appreciate the offer." Keykku smiled and shook her head lightly, wondering if she should finish the drink. Grinning lightly, she blushed a little at the compliment. "I do hope I smell good, because I really do put a lot of effort into keeping my clothing clean." Smiling lightly she listened to the music and looked around, taking another sip of the drink. The stuff was kind of addicting.

"Alright, but if you ever need help, I'll be here" Zurth smiled, and looked around. not knowing anyone not really caring to know anyone. He always was kind of a loner, and he always wanted to keep it like that, but Keykku was perfect.

Keykku finished her drink and held the empty cup in her hand, looking at it in a somewhat dissapointed way. She didn't need anymore, nor was she going to have anymore... at the time, at least. Smiling as she thought of this, she looked up at Zurth, a smile fixed on her features, said smile not going to leave until something came along to ruin it. "I'll always be there for you, too. Promise." Keykku held out her hand to Zurth, wondering if he'd shake it. It was a promise that wouldn't easily be kept, but she'd do her best to keep it.

Zurth grabbed her hand, and kissed it. "I couldn't ask for anything else" Zurth smiled, and continued to sip his drink. It seemed almost as if the cup never emptied or he was drinking so slowly it would never end. He grinned and yawned.

"How can you be yawning? Am I that boring?" Keykku laughed lightly and stared at Zurth quietly, thinking for a moment. Looking around for a moment, she turned and walked back over to where the drinks were at. Setting the glass back dwon the returned to Zurth, eyes shining in the light. "Would you like to dance, perhaps?"

"It's not you Keykku, its just I haven't had a good nights rest in some time." Zurth smiled at her as she returned. "If you want too" Zurth grabbed her hand, and walked to the dance floor.
