Remember Me

A loud crash came from the living room, along with a growl. Upon hearing these, Armageddon pushed Alea behind him and drew his sword. This would be fun. Walking out in the living room, cautiously, he looked around and spotted a bear. What the heck was it doing in here? With his sword pointed at the beast, he tried to shoo it by making verbal noises. He didn't like killing animals for no reason. It just wasn't who he was.

When Alea saw the bear, she jumped. She loved animals, but she wsn't used to seeing them in homes. "Aww, he's kinds cute!" She began talking to the creature. "Hi there! Where did you come from?"

Armageddon looked at Alea like she was nuts. "You're actually talking to it? Are you nuts? The thing is a hostile animal!" How anyone could talk to things like that Armageddon failed to understand. Why they did it he didn't know either. It made pretty much NO SENSE whatsoever. Or perhaps it was just him.

"Oh, sorry. I love animals and it's a habbit. I guess it is kind of weird isn't it?" Alea blushed in embarrassment.

With the distraction, the bear had made it's way into the kitchen. Sniffing around, it found the honey and the fresh berries, which were convineintly located right beside each other. Armageddon rushed out into the kitchen and smacked the bear on it's shoulder, the bear in turn growling and standing on it's hind legs. "Get away from my honey, bear!"

Alea gasped. "Back up! Give him some space before he kills you!" She really had no other advice to give to him in that terrifying moment.

Aramgeddon didn't move. He inched toward the bear, sword at the ready. Instead of doing anything, the bear just stood there and growled some more. Fear was the worst thing to show an animal. With that thought, he charged the animal. The bear, in turn, got down and ran out the door. Intimidation and scare tactics worked well on bigger creatures. "Evil wild animals."

"Well thats one way to scare a bear off." Alea said. She desided to change the subject. "So... what was it that you were going to show me before the bear showed up?"

Realizing that the bear had distracted him, the boy whirled around and rushed toward his bedroom. Grabbing the book, he turned around and went to Alea. Handing her the book, he smiled. "This was one of my ancestors books. He wrote a lot about his adventurous expeditions." Aramgeddon liked the book, but didn't mind only reading it once. HIs ancestor had a very dull vocabulary.

Alea took the book and smiled. "Wow. This is so cool! I don't have anything from my ancestors. I just have me, myself, and I."

"Well, that's too bad." Armageddon felt bad for the girl, he didn't know what it would be like to have ost his family completely. At least he had Ambrosia. Forcing a smile, he stared at the girl carefully. "Well, I think that I'll have to be going soon. Sorry, but I kinda have to go and sort a few things out with an elf. I hope it's no problem."

"Oh, no, no problem at all. go ahead, I'll be fine." Alea said.

Aramgeddon nodded and walked out the door. Taking in a sharp breath of the damp air, he wandered over to the woods. Grabbing a fower, he twirled it around before stopping. THinking for a moment, he continued. There was something about that girl....
