Ambrosia looked down from the top of the mountain, dressed in warmer clothes than normal. A wool jacket and black pants, tucked safely and carefully into her fuzzy little boots. Her red hair hung out from beneath her woolen cap, and green tinted goggles hid her blue eyes. What, again, was she doing here? Oh, yes, now she remembered. She was going to attempt a suicide... or was she? All she really wanted was to be remembered. But as what? The freak who jumped off a cliff and mangled their poor fragile body, or of the girl who did something important? It was hard to tell. She felt no hope. Her heart had been broken one too many times. One of Ambrosia's small feet took a step forward and watched a rock tumble down the side of the mountain. Her heart lurched in her throat and she forced it back down. "You don't want to do this." she mumbled, and brought her foot back to the other. Her voice cracked and she began to sob miserably, her fragile form rocking back and forth. It was loud enough to echo, probably enough to cause an avalanche. Yet, someone chose to clap a hand over her mouth and startle her nearly to death. No flames came, nothing happened, really. She just leaned back into the person behind her, not really caring who it was. She just wanted warmth, and a love that would never leave her. Mind turning fuzzy, she almost fell over. Steadying herself quickly, the young woman stopped crying altogether, forcing herself to grow up and stop crying. A broken heart wasn't a killer; just something she'd have to use to figure out what she needed in life. The person, the thing, behind her removed its hand and Ambrosia looked up, seeing an unfamiliar face. Unfamiliar, at least until the man said something. "Sister, what are you doing out here? Have you gone insane? Ambrosia, can you hear me?" The voice belonging to the young man was that of her brother, Armageddon. The elder of the twins, if not only by a few minutes. The one who was cautious and mysterious, always having a secret to trouble him as he trod the path of life. Ambrosia had thought her brother to be dead, until she had met up with him a few years ago, directly after the war. They had talked breifly, before they had went sperate ways once again. Now, as fate would have it, she had met up with him yet again, here, on Starfall. Sunmount was directly to the left, standing just a little taller than it's twin. Ambrosia's eyes brightened just enough to be noticable under her goggles. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Armageddon had been wandering around quite aimlessly in the mountains, visiting with dwarves and trying to negotiate a trade. He wore no chill protectant clothing, just that of his normal attire. All blue, his hobbit boots, and a serious and slightly disturbing expression of his face. Trading had not been going so well, and was about to make a good deal with a merchant when a rock tumbled down Starfall and smacked into his foot. The rock hit him wih such force it was very hard not to notice and jump as soon as it hit him. The dwarf he was bargaining with chuckled lightly and went back to bargaining. Armageddon's attention was elsewhere, and he turned to look up the mountain. What he saw didn't really appeal to him at first, until he noticed a slim figure very close to the edge to Starfall. His heart skipped a few beats as her saw the red hair flying in the wind, and suddenly he realized that it was his sister, Ambrosia. Armageddon looked to the dwarf quickly and said, in a very quick and frightening tone, "There is a woman up there who is going to be dead if I don't do something. How do I get up to Starfall's summit within a few seconds?" The dwarf looked surprised and pointed to a slant in the mountain that, at first, looked like solid rock. Soon he realised that it wasn't rock, but steps etched into the mountain. Armageddon took off fast as he could up the side of the mountain. His breathing stayed calm as he willed the air to travel into his lungs. He reached the summit within about fifty-seconds, heart pounding. Armageddon had reached the top just as the young lady started sobbing, a loud sound that broke his heart as soon as he'd heard it. Brotherly instincts kicking in her slapped her hand over his sister's mouth and willed her to be calm. Sure enough, Ambrosia stayed calm and leaned back into her brother, Aramgeddon unsure of what to do. After she had pulled herself together, the male twin pulled away. Fear and worry gave him away as he dared to use his voice to speak. "Sister, what are you doing out here? Have you gone insane? Ambrosia, can you hear me?" Armageddon waited patiently for some response and then pulled off his sister's goggles, the tears that had been contained inside freefalling down her cheeks, wetting her whole face. Armmageddon knew that this had probably made her cold, so he waved his hand over her face and sucked all the water off her face and into his palm. He stared hard into her eyes until she replied by falling over into her brother's arms, relived to see him and happy she hadn't thrust herself off the cliff. Those were her last moments on top of Starfall, before Armageddon picked up her still body and carried her silently down the side of the mountain. Armageddon stopped to ask the dwarf for directions to an inn, and was told to climb into the carriage the little man owned, and he would transport him to the inn called Stone Wall, a place that sounded good enough to satisfy the now exhausted brother, and as they arrived, he clambbered out of the carriage, Ambrosia still sleeping in his arms, and walked cautiously into Stone Wall, going straight to ask for a room with two beds, given a key and asking the elderly woman to take coins out of his pocket for him, and heading to Room Twelve, the room he had rented only to have a serious talk with Ambrosia and sleep for the night, hopefully being served dinner in the meantime.

Alea was exausted, and needed somewere to sleep. there were dwarfs everywere and she figured that at least one of them had to know where she could get some shut-eye. she asked for directions and the dwarf pointed up the road. she could hardly stand on her feet by the time she got to the inn. you see, she was an adventurer, and she had been walking for at least six hours and hadnt slept in a real bed for months. she paid for her room (room 13) and fell asleep as soon as her head hit the pillow.

Armageddon had left the room so the exhausted Ambrosia could take a bath. She smelled quite horrid, something like salty-tears and rotten fish. Not a very pleasant smell. Of course, being a decent person, he had left the room so she could have some privacy. Who was he to judge his sister, anyways? Stone Wall was a nice little inn, warm and cozy, with an air of freindliness around everyone. Perhaps it was all the dancing and such, but maybe it had a deeper meaning. Armageddon made it out to the dining area of the inn after asking around to see if anyone knew where to find it. Sure enough, it had been it the most obvious place... right next to the bathroom. Horrid, really, due to the wretched stench coming out of the room. The dark-haired boy smirked lightly and ventured back to the kitchen to place an order. He didn't really know what he wanted, so he just said 'The Special' and took a number. Slowly, he made his way over to a table and sat down slowly, easing into the casual enviroment of chatter and laughter, patiently waiting for his food to arrive. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ As soon as Amrageddon left her alone Ambrosia called in the maid to get her water going. There was a contraption in the room that she had never before seen, so she had no idea how to get the water out. Soon after the maid left Ambrosia was soaking in the tub happily, feeling good about everything in life. The red-haired lady tried to manipulate the water, but nothing would happen. Perhaps she was too exhausted, or maybe a magic ward lingered in the building. Whatever it was, it frustrated the teen. She gave up on it, though, and decided to get out of the tub and relax. She wrapped a towel around her just as there was a knock on the door. "I'll be there in a moment!" Ambrosia called, and started to slip into her undergarments, and then some of Armageddon's lent pajamas. Considering how she had no extra clothing, he had lent her some of his that were too small for the tall, well built young man. The pajamas looked slightly baggy on Ambrosia's slight frame. Her wet red hair was wrapped up in a blue towel, matching the pajamas and her bright blue eyes. Then she walked over to the door and opened it slowly, looking to see who it was. A woman dressed in the maid's uniform, bringing fresh towels and linens. "Sorry, madam, but I thought I'd bring some extra sheets for you and your husband, not to mention towels being a nessecity, too. Sorry to barge in on you like that." Ambrosia's blue eyes looked hard into the woman's, and a confused look appeared on Ambrosia's face before she laughed quite loudly. "Actually, he's my brother. But thank you, anyways." Ambrosia said this cheerfully, reaching out to take the pile of soft, clean scented items for the small woman's hands. Grinning, Ambrosia said thanks once more and turned back and shut the door quietly after the woman had turned away. Ambrosia sighed and laid the linens on the Armageddon's bed carefully, before plopping down on her own, accidentally knocking the wall. A key could be heard turning the locked door and her brother walked in, carting a plate of food. Ambrosia was suddenly paying attention, watching the food carefully, and ony then recognizing her hunger. She jumped up, making the bed slam into the wall again. Hopefully the people/person in room 13 couldn't hear that... nor could it disturb them. "Ambrosia! Please, try to be a little quieter, would you? You wouldn't want to disturb the peace. I really would rather not have an angry elf or something banging on the door!" Armageddon said this in a tone as it he were scolding a child. It wasn't his fault, mainly due to his solemn, secretive, and cautious personality clashing with Ambrosia's too-trusting, too-noisy, and slightly oboxious personality. All in all, the twins completed each other.

Alea was having the weardest dream; she was on a cliff. she saw a little girl. the girl was crying. she took a step toward the edge but stopped herself. then, a guy came. Alea suspected it was her brother. he took her back away from the edge and to a village. she suddenly awoke hearing a bang against the wall. she thought it was an accident, and she lay her head back against her pillow to go back to sleep. but, as soon as her eyes were shut again, she heard a bang, louder this time. she got out of bed wondering if everyone was alright. she threw on some clothes and went out of her room and to the room next to hers, and knocked on the door. "I heared a couple of bangs and i just woundered if you were ok in there."

Ambrosia's blue eyes grew wide when she heard the knock and the small voice on the outside of the door. A small grin appeared on her face as she stared at her brother, who was staring at his sister with a disgusted look on his face. The typical Armageddon, only one who talked a little more than the other. Doing a qiuck palm-face (the thing you do when words can't describe what you're feeling, Amrageddon turned to Ambrosia and pointed at the door, very seriously. "YOU'RE the one who did it, so YOU'RE the one who is answering that door." Armageddon accented the word 'you're' and pointed at Ambrosia when he said it. His voice came out in a quiet, rushed whisper as he retreated to the corner of the room, flopping on his bed, not making a sound. Ambrosia whimpered and looked at her brother like he was an idiot, making her get up and answer the door. The voice hadn't sounded angry, though, so it couldn't be that bad. "Just a minute!" Ambrosia called, pulling her hair up into a ponytail. She went over to the closet and flicked through the clothing that had been left there, before finding a pretty black, sparkly dress that would match her hair. With a glance behind her, to make sure Armageddon wasn't looking, Ambrosia got out of the pajamas and slipped on the dress, snatching a pair of Ruby Red Slippers, and putting them on her feet. She literally looked like someone fresh out of a movie. Ambrosia hustled over to the door and opened it swiftly, a smile coming over her face. "Yes, everything's fine. I was just a little... what's the word? Oh yea, inconsiderate with my actions." Ambrosia wasn't looking at the elf girl, but the big man coming down the hall with a sword in his hand, looking like a viper, poised and ready to strike. Ambrosia acted without thinking, pulling the girl inside and slamming the door behind her, locking all the locks. Just then did Ambrosia realize what she did. "Sorry about that it's just there was this... Did you see that... Sorry, but there was this huge behemoth in the hall and he looked like he want to kill you which is why you are in here..." Suddenly there was a loud rap on the door and Ambrosia backed up and sat on the bed gently, looking from the elf to Armageddon repeatedly, freaked out and wondering what would happen. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Armageddon listened carefully to the discussion and, without looking up, knew what was happening. Slowly he sat up on the bed and went over to the door looked at both the elf and Ambrosia with a completely calm experession on his face, and opened the door a crack, just so he coulld see who it was. "Yes? Can I help you, sir?" Armageddon's voice was monotonus, and it never once shifted an octave, even though, truly, he was scared of this hugely oversized man. A shove of massive force was placed on the door, and Armageddon was pushing back with all his strength, trying to fight the man off. Ambrosia rushed over and tried to help. Armageddon looked around for anything to help him when he thought of something. "Ambrosia! Light the door aflame!" Hopefully that would get him to back off enough to allow Armageddon to get his sword, Nehima, from his pack.

Alea was shocked when the girl pulled her into the room. but what really got her was the man knocking against the door. she was startled because she had never seen him before. he seamed familiar though, like he was from an old vision or dream. If only she could remember! oh well, she had more importiant things to worry about right now. she tied her hair back with a band she had on her wrist so her hair wouldnt get in the way if there was a fight. "do you know who that is?" she whispered to the girl.

Ambrosia was busily working enough magic to get the door flaming, to quickly get it going and keep it burning long enough to allow Armagedon to fulfill his plans. Answering the elf's question, the young red-head had a few quick breaths between every word. "No... I... have... no... idea who... or what... he is..." Finally mustering up enough strength the set the door on fire, Ambrosia backed off and Armageddon suddenly realized that he didn't need Nehima. Although he had been wanting to wean himself from the blue scythe, he summoned Artix with a flash of briliant blue and turned to face the door, hair hanging over his eyes. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Armageddon stared at the flaming rubble on the floor and tilted his head to the side and smirked lightly, seeing the man stare at the pile of door at his feet. The man looked up at the slender boy and Armageddon noticed a vein popping out of his forehead. "What do you want with us?" Armageddon's voice was again monotonus, but this time had some hidden emotion that trained ears could find. The man charged inside the room and Armageddon quickly dodged the temperamental man, and pivoted to face him again. The berserker stopped right before crashing into the wall. "That is for me to know... and you to force out of me." Came the man's reply, and this made Ambrosia take a step back and stare at the elf, wondering if they should escape while they could or stay and help. (Sorry it's shorter...)

Alea was shoked when the girl made the fire from magic. She backed into the corner of afaid of what was going to happed next. She didnt have as much experiansce at fighting as she would have liked. quietly, hopping no one would notice, she tiptoed over to the window, unlocked it, and looked down only to see it was too far to jump. She turned arould to lock eyes with the intruder. images flashed through her head as she looked at the man. from the past. her childhood. she fell to the floor with a sharp cry of pain. she couldnt explain what she saw in the last image all she know was it was horrible.

Ambrosia went into action quickly, not bothering to explain anything. Armageddon would know what she was doing, so she had no problems. Packing some warm clothing into a backpack, enough for two females, Ambrosia stared at Alea shortly before going over to the window and summoning up about five rocks, about three feet in between each, and picked the elf up in a fireman's carry. Then Ambrosia jumped out the window.
It took about five seconds to get down to the bottom, even with the extra-elf weight on her back. Ambrosia sat the elf down and stared at her for a split second before digging through her bags and pulling out a wad of clothing that would fit the small blonde. "Look, I'm sorry about that but I was in a hurry to get down here. All I can do is hope and pray that I can simply get us out of here in one peice. Hard to tell what that guy was doing. Here, put these clothes on while I go and 'borrow' two horses." Ambrosia's mind was functioning quite well under pressure, and she took off toward the stable to borrow two horses, big stocky ones with good footing and pretty coats.

After she got over her shock, Alea quickly changed clothes. She didnt know how long the girl was going to take so she hid in the bushes near-by not wanting to get caught by that creapy intruder. When she was safely hidden, she began to think about the imiges that went through her head a while ago. but for some reason, she couldnt remember what they were of. So, she just sat there waiting for the two people she had just met hoping they might have any idea who the intruder was and that they could help her.

Ambrosia reappeared with two horses, ones a well ridden fleabitten grey with large hooves abd a tendency to be a brat and try to shove the girl over. The other was a nice sorrel mare that was easy-going and well muscled. Ambrosia would ride the grey and figured Alea would do fine on the sorrel. When she got back she spotted the elf in the bushes. "Alea, if you could please get on the sorrel mare, we can ride off and get away from here and then I can explain what's happening."

She quickly got on the horse not wanting to spend any more time by the hotel than was needed. after she was settled she kicked the horse into a trot. then the questions pored out of her: "Do you know who that man is? What is he doing? What does he want? Does this have anything to do with me, or is he after you?" she stopped to gather her thoughts and relized what she was doing. "Oh. Sorry. I ushaly dont ask so many questions, but, you know its not very normal for me to have an intruder barg in like that. Oh, and who is that other kid that was with you?"

Ambrosia nudged her large horse into a slow lope, keeping up well with Alea. She listened to the questions flow out of the girl and waited until she was done to answer. "As for who it was, that I'm not going to tell you for it is not really any of your concern, no offense intended. He was probably after me, considering how I used to be his... never mind. That 'never mind' is probably the answer to the other quiestions, too. Sorry I can't be helpful." As soon and the red head was done talking, Alea spoke again.
"That other kid was my brother, Armageddon. Ambrosia and Armageddon, we're elemental twins. I have control over all elements, he only has suberb skills with wind and water." Ambrosia slipped a look behind her and her eyes grew wide, and she looked to Alea. "There's a secret path ahead. I'll go first, you follow." With that, Ambrosia kicked the horse hard as she could and the animal sped up and took off at a mad gallop.

She followed her to the secret path and followed the girl through it. she was curious why Ambrosia didnt want to tell her who the guy was. But she had a point: this was none of her business. The secret path was kind of small but big enough to fit the horses through.

Coming up to a small unmistakable landmark, Ambrosia grinned mischeviously and looked to the elf behind her. "Okay. Now I will take any logical questions before we start clambering up this here mountain. I will take any and concerns, and perhaps even something to soothe my unignorable headache all of this has given me." Ambrosia flinched at the return of some memories, before swinging her body over and landing on the ground with a thud.
"Brief summary of what is going to happen next. We climb this nmountain and camp in a cave somewhere near the middle; then we climb to the top and wait for Armageddon. The horses stay here and run away. Or, we can just continue on the path and meet my brother somewhere by the beginning of the mountain, and I'll just send him a message of where we are by using my 'brain powers'. Just kidding, I have no brain powers. Can you tell I'm nervous, because I am actually quite nervous."
Now really wasn't the time to talk about that creep she met at the bar, that was for sure. She should've known talking to him was a mistake. But, no time to think of the past when the future was the issue.
((Hard to follow, I know XD Talk 2 me tomorrow in one of LaMarre's classes!! I shall explain what I have in mind... -evil laugh- lol))

Alea wondered why the girl was nervous. Well if she thought about it, there was a very good reason to be nervious. Alea was also nervious. If only her questions would get answered. ((sorry its short but we never did talk. and its kinda hard 2 talk 2 u when school is out 4 break))
