Internal affairs (Collision)

The boy didn't know where he was or really what happened just that it smelt like smoke. Xander remembered bob being in control for a while. It was hard to tell what had actually happened. Everything was blurry. But in front of him were the twins Ying& Yang. The only two people he felt safe enough to call friends. But the scene was wrong, they weren't them selves. Ying the female twin , the one who was usually so bright, happy and full of life was laying on the ground covered in ash. And Yang the male who was quiet, serious, but kind. Yet the werewolf boy was yelling and kneeling by his sister with a sword drawn and pointed at him. Xander looked at his hands but found to evidence to suggest he had done anything. Confused the hybrid fled the scene and into a forest. It was night time and the air was cool despite it being thick with smoke. He closed his eyes and tried with all his might to find out from his other self the truth.

After a while a vague picture of memories formed. Bob had gained control sometime earlier that evening when the twins and 'him' went to the town. Why, because Bob thought he had found a spy that was going to give them information on the queens. The Twins came because they wanted to hear about it to, since one of their friends, Lucien was being targeted by them. But the whole thing had been a set up to lure them there. The Queens seeing that they were trouble and involved with Lucien wanted them dead. When they arrived they were attacked, but managed to defeat the attackers. But the fire Queen had just used them to stall while she started burning the town. This would destroy the main source of income for the nation and kill the pesky brats in one shot. A tactic that would make the final steps of their plan all the more devastating. Bob being the wimp that he was had fled leaving the twins to their fate. Because Bob for all of his attitude was just as scared as Xander was. This action un douptedly lead the twins believe that he had betrayed them.

So now with that knowledge there was only one thing the boy could do. Xander was going to take back his life and not rely on Bob anymore.

So the mental battle begins.

~~~~~~~Some where in Xanders mind~~~~~

"Why did you leave them there! Why do you always have to let everyone down! I can't believe i let you fool me all these years into thinking you would be of any help.!" Xander screamed facing his double ganger.

Bob, taken aback, swallowed. He shuddered. Why was it that he always ran from everything? He could tell that this wasn't going to end well. "I don't have an answer for those questions. I don't know why I do things, okay! I can't control it! I go by impulse! I don't think before I act! I just do what I feel like doing! Danger comes, I flee! I'm not good when the going gets tough. You for one should know that!" Bob swallowed. This was not going to end well. Hadn't he already thought that?

"If you weren't so naive, so gullible, so.... Stupid! You could fend for yourself. You don't even understand hallf of the things that happen in the world. I've learned more. I've experienced more. Which is probably what had talked you into trusting me. You have to understand that, somehow, we were meant to share this body. I can't help it if we are so extremely different that all we can do is fight! You can't blame me for what happened to them. At least they weren't killed!" Bob hoped, with all his puny little heart, that the twins weren't killed. If they were, something bad was going to happen.

"I don't believe you! Your a bully. You enjoy hurting people and for all i know you probably did set this up." Xander said in a dangerous tone. But he wasn't even looking at his double ganger because then he would be forced to see himself to. Deep down they were the same and thats what the hybrid hated the most. Things had to change he couldn't handle having this person inside him. Yet at the same time he was scared , Bob in his own twisted way was like an older brother. Bob had helped protect him when things got tough. The boy knew what Bob meant by experiencing more....It was always bob who handled the bad things that Xander didn't want to do. Why was this choice so hard? The boy was furious at his other half, yet part of him wasn't ready to let him go. There had to be a better way then just forcing Bob into a dormant state.....something that probably wouldn't have worked anyway.

~~~~~Outside~~~~~~~~

Yang had managed to get his sister away from the burning city. Thankfully she was alive but inhaling all the smoke had made her go unconscious. The male twin was angrier then he ever thought was possible. The only thing he could think about was running the demented kid through with his sword. After everything he had his sister did to try and help the kid out, the hybrid had betrayed them. He didn't even care 'which one of them' did it. But right now all that mattered was getting Ying somewhere safe. He kept walking carrying her over his shoulder, maybe not the nicest way to carry someone but it was all he could manage considering they were around the same size. When she woke up he was going to have to talk to her about her eating habits, she weighed a ton.

"Well, belief or disbelief rests with you. but I honestly didn't mean to cause any harm to come to them. You may not think so, but I don't want to kill any innocents." Bob didn't know what to think, what to say. He'd never seen Xander like that before. A small part inside of him wanted to just... explode. But then, another small part was thinking to apologize and just run away. Too bad none of those options were very likely, considering how he wasn't going to back down at the likes of Xander.

"You know, I'll admit it. I am a bully. But, if I'm a bully, then where do you stand? But, cross our heart, I didn't do any harm intentionally. You know those dumb queens are unpredictable. even if I was involved it doesn't mean that I wanted them to die. It's Lucien I'm after, and you know it. Killing the girl might make him freak and try to go after the queens, but that wouldn't do much good. That and she's showed us kindness we've never known. So why would I want to kill her? What would benefit me?" Bob honestly couldn't tell whether or not he was lying, telling a half-truth, or telling the honest truth. It was hard to tell.

Xander just listened to Bob. He didn't know what to say or to think. What Bob was saying made sense but some small part of him still felt mistrust. Bob was always good at lying and convincing people. Where did he stand? Was he just as bad by not standing up to bob sooner? Looking at the ground the boy began to feel ashamed. He was weak and relied on Bob to much. This caused a lot of problems for both of them. They couldn't be together, it just didn't work out. Some how they had to be separated. "Your the stupid one for believing anyone would dare try and go against the queens, let alone be a spy!" Xander shot back. It was all just so confusing and when he was confused he got angry. The only thing was how was he going to go about getting rid of Bob? Should he kill him, was it even possible? Was there some place he could lock Bob up until he behaved? The hybrid had no idea what to do. Right now they were both going back and forth, trying to gain the upper hand and make the other feel bad.


(( they really do fight like brothers, more like twins actually. Both trying to distinguish themselves from the other. Both trying to gain some sort of control and recognition. ))

Bob looked at Xander. That was a little strange. He forced back a smile. Why smile? He didn't know. He just felt the sudden urge to let out a grin and laugh. But that wasn't going to happen. Not in a million years. "People will go against the queens. You just haven't seen the rebellion yet. And spies get their payout. People will do a lot of things for money or power." People would do a lot of things for other purposes, too, as long as they would get something in return. The verbal argument was like a Volleyball game, the ball goes back and forth over the net until one makes a mistake and the ball goes falling to the ground. What would the ball resemble, then? The control of things? Stupid metaphorical simile things. Shaking his head, Bob looked at Xander.

"What's the whole point of this? We're both just struggling for control. Whaddya want from me? Trouble happens. Accidents occur. You can't just go and blame it all on one person." Bob thought for a moment. What the heck was this going to mean? What was going to happen? This argument was going to lead them no where.

~~~~~~~~A Little While Ago.... Outside the Town~~~~~~~~~

Lucien stood there, eyes wide, barely breathing. What happened? Why was the town gone? Instead of walking over to face danger, he looked around. Seeing no one, he turned 90 degrees and walked quickly over to the cover of some trees. Pushing his hair back, he et out some air in the form of a sigh. He then shook his head, not believing what he had saw. That was no doubt the result of those stupid Nymphs. They were going to die someday... not die, be murdered. How many more were to be killed? Trying to get a grip, Lucien looked around quietly. There was little sound, and it was very creepy. He chewed on the rubbery substance in his mouth, what someone had called 'gum', and crept around through the trees.

As soon as he saw them, he went pale. Lucien stood there, horrified, looking at Ying and Yang. What the hell was going on there? How could someone do this? Feeling a little dizzy, he fell backward and landed on some dead leaves. Taking a few deep breaths, he forced himself to his feet. A little wobbly, like a newborn colt, he leaned against a tree for support. "What.... what happened?" He didn't know what emotions he was feeling. He didn't know anything that was going on. All he could feel was a sorrowful rage that was boiling inside, knowing that, within the next few hours max, he was going to do something completely idiotic.

Xander sighed this was pointless. Nothing he could say would change anything or make it better. But he wanted his own life, to be free from bob. Being associated with the likes of bob irritated him. "We need to be separated. I'm just not sure how. I was just going to yell at you hoping you would go away like all the other times......but were both getting to strong to be locked up by the other like that. So this has to be ended permanently." The boy said quietly. He wasn't angry anymore he just felt sick. It felt like everything was crashing down on him. "What are you?" The question was sudden and kind of awkward but he never knew who or what Bob actually was. The bully had just popped into his head one day.

~~~~~~~Outside~~~~~~~~

Yang had stopped to take a break and leaned his sister against a rock. They were far enough away from the city now so they should be alright. The werewolf heard a noise and almost lashed out toward it but stopped when he saw it was only Lucien. "What the hell? Are you drunk?" Was the first thing he could think of saying. Lucien looked and talked really strange so it was just a natural assumption. Shaking his head he got a hold of the situation and himself again. "It was the fire nymph she burned it down. It was a trap and we fell right into it thanks to Xander.....bob.....or whatever his name actually is." Yang explained in a bitter tone.


Ying blinked and sat up groggily. Funny she didn't remember going to bed. Or having a rock for a pillow. "What is going on where did my blanket go?" Looking around she noticed Lucien. "When did you get here? And why are you in my room?!" She then throws a rock at him and then tried to stand up but falls down.

Yang catches Ying and sighs. "You seriously don't remember anything?" The boy smiled but shook his head at her. He was happy she was ok but kind of amazed that she didn't remember anything about what happened.

Lucien's first reaction to the drunk question was go over there and sap him, but he was too overwhelmed to do so. "If I was drunk I wouldn't be ambling around the forest like a complete idiot. Or would I?" He blinked rapidly, trying to imagine the chaos that was still occuring in the town. When Ying sat up, he looked at her with a big, open eyed stare. When she threw the rock he barely hid behind a tree quick enough to dodge it. He peeked his head out, body still behind the tree.

Lucien's eyebrows twitched and he stared at the two. "I'm in the woods, not in a room. I think. Yang, where am I?" Now everyone had him all confused. He felt like he was going to pass out. Ying told him to get out of her room. He wasn't in a room. Yang thought he was drunk. He wasn't drunk. Was he? No. He definitley wasn't drunk. So, then, it must've been the disaster that had sent his mind into a downward spiral. Perhaps he should just take a nap or something. That might make his tummy feel better.

Bob thought about the question. What was he? He had no idea. What was going on? Why was he here? Was he just a part of Xander's imagination? Whatever he was, he had no idea. "I don't know. I honestly don't know. What am I?" That question ha made Bob about want to cry. What was he? Where did he stand? Was he just imaginary? Didn't he exist? Well, he would've had to have existed or else this never would've happened. Where was a smart person when you needed one? But Xander did have a point. They needed to be separated.

To Lucien's drunk comment Yang said. "Stumbling in random places talking like an idiot is exactly what drunk people do. And no your not in any ones room, just in a forest." He set his sister back down and sighed, "So what now?"

Ying looked around the area. This was all very confusing. She didn't remember leaving their cave. The air smelt really bad like something was burning. "Are we having a barbecue or something?"

"no, Venalicium town is burning"

"Really! What happened?!"

Yang sat down beside her and tried to explained everything to her.

Ying blinked she couldn't believe it. Sure Xander had problems ,and may even be insane. But she never expected him to do something like this. For once she was speechless. The werewolf girl didn't know what to say or what to think. It didn't make sense how this all could have happened.

Xander looked down and bit on his lower lip. He had no idea what was going on in his own mind. He sat on the ground shaking his head trying to figure out everything that was going on. None of it made any sense. Maybe once they were apart both of them would be able to think straight and they could solve this mystery.

((ok bring on Lucien. ^_^ it's time to cut the ties.))

Lucien listened, shaking his head the whole time Yang was talking. That kid was going to die. He stood up, wondering what he was gunna do. Every part of him said no, but that wasn't going to stop anything. This was going to be the 'Stupid Accomplishment' of the day. Shaking his head once more, violently, he stalked off into the woods. His jaw was set, his eyes were fierce. Where was that kid? He shifted into a werewolf and sniffed around, trying to catch a lingering scent. Finally, as he caught it, he was right near the little twerp. "You have three seconds to turn around and defend yourself."

Bob felt another presence. No... another two presences. How did that happen?
Shoving Xander out of his way, he too charge of the body. Looking around wildly, he saw a enraged idiot right before his eyes. But, then, where was the other... there wasn't another one. Something was coming from that necklace. But... what was it? It was then that Bob decided that necklace had something special about it, and he wanted it. Shifting into a raven, he took flight and tried to find a way to snag that necklace from his pocket. Inside his mind, he said to Xander, "I have an idea." Surely that necklace was the key...

((I don't know whether Xander or Bob was in control at the moment, but Bob took over.))

Xander felt Lucien's presents and gulped knowing that the creepy guy probably found out what happened and was there to kill him. He didn't have choice but to trust bob on this one since the bully had already taken control. He wasn't sure what the necklace was for but Bob seemed to think it would be useful. The boy just wanted to leave , there was no way for him to explain this once and he didn't think they were going to listen.


Ying saw Lucien storm off and tried to go after him but her brother held her down. "This isn't right! This can't be happening. There is no way Xander would do this.....there just can't be. We can't let Lucien do this it won't make it better." She said trying to hold back tears. None of this made sense. How could someone who seemed so nice be so bad? And why did it have to come to this? After everything they had been through it just didn't make sense for everyone to start trying to kill each other and betray each other now. Why wait this long? If the hybrid really was planning to have them killed all along then why wait. It just didn't make sense. The werewolf girl really hated having to think about things. It was easier and better for everyone in the long run if what you see is what you get.

"Sometimes there is no other choice. No matter what you or anyone else trys to do....things don't always work out well. You can't save everyone no matter how much you may want to." Yang said trying his best to comfort his sister. Maybe it was easier for him because like Lucien he didn't really trust the hybrid boy from the beginning and the boy had already broken his second chance even before this incident. But with his sister it was different. No matter what she was always willing to give someone a million chances. Because she always believed that people could change and wanted to see the good in everyone. It was stupid, yet you had to admire it anyway. However, now that the anger had died down a little he was also wondering if killing the kid was such a good idea.

((Tee hee another pun-ish thing. "Surely the necklace was the key", it'll help them and it's shaped like a key. Teehee. XD))

Lucien looked at the kid? A bird? Really? That wasn't going to work... at all. He shook his head and thought for another moment. The thing coud shapeshift. This wasn't going to work well. How was he going too... Oh, yeah. A rock. Grabbing a round rock off the ground he took aim and hurled it toward the bird.

Bob swooped down and missed the rock by a hair. He continued the downward spiral and snatched up the necklace with his beak. Quick as he could, he lifted back up and landed on a tree branch. Shifting back into a little boy, he studied the golden trinket and chain.

"Give me that back, twerp! Don't make me go up there and get you! This is only giving me more reason to go up there and kill you!" Lucien seemed impedeing, dangerous, threatening, but he didn't actually know what he was feeling. Do you know how wrong it is to kill a child? No matter how menacing they were, he wouldn't be able to do it. Somehow, though, he'd have to. Make him bleed, bring on the blood lust. Although, if he was part Vampire....

"No." Bob slipped the piece of jewelry around his neck. And then all went black. When he woke up, he was laying on the ground. He coughed, and looked around. He searched through his mind, only to find that Xander wasn't there.

((Bob is going to look different just so that people can tell them apart. And now... YOUR TURN! ))

Xander woke up and looked around rubbing his head. Wondering what happened this time. He saw another boy not to far from him. He looked similar to him but instead of white hair it was red and his eyes were green. "Bob?" The hybrid asked slightly confused. Bob wasn't in his mind anymore so he assumed the plan worked. Reaching to his neck he took of the necklace that had now split in two pieces. The feeling was odd, it was almost like his mind was empty. Immediately he started laughing, it was all over. But his laughter faded when he remembered Lucien. Quickly he dropped the necklace and backed far away from the guy. Now that his mind was clear and he was able to think he could now find out what had really happened, maybe even who bob really was. Something that he soon came to regret. The truth was that bob wasn't even real, now he was somehow, but before he had just been part of his imagination. Which meant that all along it was really just him. That meant that He, Xander had been responsible for everything bad that he had blamed bob for. It was strange how it had all seemed so real.... Shocked and ashamed he ran. It was his fault, everything was his fault, he really was bad. This couldn't be.....All this time he had held out hope that he could be useful to someone and that his life would mean something. But if he really was bad, then none of it mattered. There wasn't anything he could do to fix anything...No he refused to believe that, there had to be something he could do.


(( might be little corny but it was the only thing i could think of that would make sense. He has to be in the right sort of mind frame to want to save Lucien. Because he doesn't really like him so there has to be a bigger reason then that.....I hope that makes sense. I was thinking of maybe having one of your characters preferably Finn to unknowingly counsel him to do it. Xander can ask how to make amends and she could not knowing anything about whats going on could say that sacrificing yourself to save another is the best way.........meh something like that. You know what i mean. ^_^))

Lucien looked at the two little creepy children. He was caught offguard, unsuer if either were real. That was one freakish child. Without really wanting too, he snuck over behind a tree and waited for them to come to conciousness. When the one did, the red haired one, he didn't do much. The other one laughed, and then ran away. Creeeeeeeeepy. Lucien shuddered. What was he supposed to do now? Did the red haired one still shapeshift?

Bob sat up, a little dizzy. This was new. No more pestering because of that little twerp! No he was free to do what he wanted! Somewhat. No one would know him... no one would connect him to the queens. YAY! It was now the ultimate test... to see if he could still shift. That'd be nice. Sure enough, when he wanted to shift into a frog, he turned into a bear. That was extremely distorted. When he wanted to shift back into a kid, it worked well. "Good grief." Bob stood up, finding his feet. This was handy dandy. Wobbling a little, he regained his sense of balance and began to walk around, not knowing that Lucien was still hiding.

Lucien came out from behind the tree and snatched the kid, throwing him over her shoulders and running back to where the twins were. Bob was taken so off guard that he didn't try to fight back. Lucien plopped him down in front of the twins and pointed at him. "The main brat stole my necklace and then that one was spawned from him!" Lucien was angry, but kind of astounded at the same time. He never thought that would happen.

(( we can start another if you want or just stick it in this once somewhere it doesn't matter to me. Whatever you think is best. Maybe you should do a separate bio and i can modify Xanders.))

The twins stared at Lucien and the strange , yet familiar looking kid. What Lucien said didn't make any sense and confused them.

I think he really is drunk. Yang commented telepathically

Ying feeling better stood up and went over to Lucien to feel his forehead. "Are you feeling alright? Because your not making any sense." She then turned her attention to the boy. He did kind of resemble Xander... but it was just so far fetched that this one 'spawned' from the real one. The necklace that Lucien has creates holoforms, it didn't do anything else as far as they knew. If Lucien wasn't delusional and this was all real then how many were there? And could this happen to everyone other then Lucien who puts on the necklace. That would be cool, she wanted to try it next.

"Fine then. Don't believe me. I don't really care. And I don't feel alright, because if I did, I woulda slit both of their little throats right then and there, when they were unconcious. I'm not an idiot, and I don't like that kid. I think something freaky is going on, and it needs to be figured out." Luyciebn folded his arms across his chest and lookoed defiant, knowing what he saw was the truth and those two should believe him. If not, then, oh well. Their loss of information.

Bob looked around. They didn't believe him. That was a potentially good thing and a potentially bad thing. "He's not lying. That did happen. This necklace seperated me from Xander." The kid studied their faces, eyes wide, face serious. He wanted them to belive it, that way, when trouble arose, he wasn't affiliated with Xander to blame it on. Or, at least, he thought it was all Xander's fault.
