Happily Ever After? (Yumi)

"I do believe that the dance floor is now open to anyone and everyone who wants to dance." Lucien smiled, shaking his head at the crazy pirate. It would've been fun to see someone go out there and dance with the man, even if it was another crazy guy. With a man like Jack at a wedding, it wasn't going to be dull. It was rather interesting to see that pirate and that song go so well together. Sighing, the dark haired man turned to the cake. "Would you like to shove it in my face first?"

After exiting the dance floor, Jack wandered over to the refreshment table. Where was that cursed rum when you need it? That dance could take a lot out of a man. Too bad that girl hadn't danced with him though. That would've made his unsmart move a better desicion; to have someone dancing beside him. Oh, well. Jack did love himself.

Liam shook his head. That darn pirate seemingly ruined everything. Although it was kind of funny to see Jade leave the floor like that. Jack seemed to really get on a certain elf's nerves. Liam looked around, only to spot his wife and child sitting together on a chair. Meandering over to them, he sat down and kept quiet.

Astareal sat down at the piano and started to make up her own little songs, Yrael humming a tune to go along with it. This would work until the cake was cut and that stuff was over with, at least. The black haired girl had left th stage and ran out near a blonde, who was shoving things into the ground.

As if on cue to Lucien's remark Ying grabbed a fist full of cake and shoved it into his face. "I hope you were serious about not liking the white tux because i think it will get ruined." She said smiling mischievously at him. She grabbed a knife and cut into the cake, she would let Lucien have the ruined part.

Yang laughed at Lucien. At least they were having fun, thats all that really mattered. Now the wedding was done, all that was left is to relax and enjoy the wonderful food that was prepared. A sudden thought dawned on him, he pulled Lucien away from Ying to talk to him privately. In a whisper he asked "Does she know anything about ......well...anything?" He didn't want to say it but he was sure Lucien would know what he meant.

Ying looked at the two as they talked wondering what was going on. She didn't bother them though, Yang was probably just pestering poor Lucien about taking care of her. Her brother was so protective of her. While they were talking she handed out cake to everyone. Noticing Xander way in the back she walked over to him and handed him a piece of cake. "You know your not a stranger to us anymore so there is no reason to hide." She said sitting down next to the white haired boy.

"Thanks" Xander said taking the cake. It was true after five years they have all gotten to know each other quite well. But he still felt out of place, especial in big crowds like this. Saying nothing he watched the sky. It was a nice clear starry night, perfect weather for the fireworks later. After everything that happened in the past it was still hard to be around people. Not just because of his own feelings of mistrust, but because of how they might perceive him. As a hybrid he was use to being out casted by everyone and was still afraid to approach people he didn't know.

Ying watched the hybrid boy thoughtfully. She wondered what having kids would be like. Where would she go to find the stork that brought them she wondered. She would have to ask her husband that. Well if she didn't find the stork maybe she could just adopt Xander......unless Astreal had already adopted the boy. She never thought about it before, or asked. Ying was afraid of saying something wrong and upsetting the kid.Another thought that came to her mind was how little any of them changed, one of the perks of being immortal. Still it was fascinating how much time had passed and yet they were all still the same as they were five years ago.

Lucien laughed. Wiping his face with his hands, he dusted them off on his pants. The white cloth would be stained with the brown coloration of the cake and the various hues of the frosting. That thing was like a rainbow cake; of many different colors. It seemed to taste good, too. As he was dragged away by Yang, his brow furrowed as the werewolf asked that question.

"I haven't told her anything, as she hasn't asked. I don't tell people stuff like that just because I feel like it. How do you know about it, anyways? I mean, you would think that since she doesn't you wouldn't either, but... Nevermind. Why do you ask? You really don't need to be such a worry wort." Lucien studied Yang quietly after he was finished speaking. He was dreading the time when a certain someone was supposed to know where babies come from. Whoever started that myth about storks had to be on something.

Astareal looked around. Yrael was nowhere in sight. That pirate had dissappeared. She found herself alone, again. She didn't really want to mess around with the dark magic tonight, however, for it would be best just to leave that alone. Besides, those stupid wind flutes someone had created stopped her from creating any Dead in a ten mile radius. Dang royal people. Afraid of a few zombies. Poor little guys. Astareal stood and wandered out into the garden, admiring the roses and other flowers.

"Finn! Did you get them set up yet?" Keykku stared at her dragon, smiling. All of hers had been up for a few minutes. "Yup. Now we should go get changed and then tell Lucien and Jack that the 'Surprise' is ready." Finn grinned and walked forward, heading into the garden. Shifting into a deer and then into a girl, she appeared in a neon green dress, simple, but eye catching. Just the way she liked it. Keykku appeared beside her friend and glared at her, multitasking. "I hate you." Dang dragon. "Cover me. You see someone coming, kill them. Not really, but distract them." The dragon did as was told and wandered over as Keykku was changing into her dress.

When Lucien asked how he found out about the truth Yang laughed awkwardly. "Lets just say it is best to stay away from drunk humans they do the most interesting things..... Anyway i ask because she will eventually have to find out. And aren't you forgetting about the honeymoon thing. I heard it was a wedding tradition to...well...you know after the wedding events were done." The male were wolf sighed and left Lucien alone. He didn't really want to talk about this awkward business especially when it had to do with his own sister. Taking a piece of cake he went over to the garden. And ran into Astareal, he handed her the cake figuring she would probably want some. He could go and get another piece after. He actually just wanted an excuse to get out of that awkward conversation "Nice job earlier." He said.


Getting bored of the silence Ying went back over to see if Lucien was done talking with her brother. When she saw that they were she smiled brightly at him. "Hi. How is the cake?"

That was the one thing Lucien hoped to forget about. The honeymoon. What was the point? Sighing, he didn't notice Ying walk over. When she spoke, she made him jump a little. Blinking rapidly, he turned and looked to her. "Sorry. I was trapped in thought. I haven't had any cake other than that you shoved in my face." Lucien offered a pathetic, half hearted smile. That was all he was going to get after. Yang had really brought up a lot of thoughts that Lucien wished would've been kept buried. "Do you like the cake?"

Astareal looked at the guy. Was that a compliment? The woman had never really socialized with anyone before, so she had a feeling that this may turn out to be a little awkward on her part. "Thanks. You too." Astareal took the cake gingerly and smelled it. The little piece of splendor looked a bit too sweet for her liking. She might as well try it though. It wouldn't hurt, would it? The sweet fragrance of the flowers was enough for her. "What brings you out here?"

Keykku had finished changing, throwing her armor over the hedge. Hopefully no one would take it. Flicking Finn in the back of the head, she took off running, Finn following behind. The dragon was faster than Keykku, but followed behind anyways. Keykku almost crashed into a guy, but skidded to a halt right before colliding with him. Finn was way ahead of the game and had slowed a while back. "So sorry. I really didn't mean to almost run you over." Noticing the girl he must've been talking to, Keykku's eyes grew wide. "I do hope I didn't interupt anything!"

Jack found some rum and opened the bottle. "Finally." At least here, the rum wasn't always gone. He was amazed they even had alcohol here. The two were so young.... even though the one seemed to be older than he looked.

Ying looked at Lucien thoughtfully. "Whats the matter?" She asked. Something seemed to be bothering him. "Did Yang bother you about protecting me again? Seriously don't worry about it i can look after myself just fine." She said slightly annoyed at her brother. She knew he meant well but sometimes he just wouldn't mind his own business. Taking some cake she bit into it. It was so good, she was tempted to hide it and not share.

Yang shrugged at Astareals question. "not sure. Just going for a walk i guess. " He looked at the girls that almost ran into him. "No you weren't interrupting anything. I was just giving her some cake." He said to the two. Realizing he was probably making the sorcerer un comfortable he kept on walking through the garden. Maybe he shouldn't have said anything to Lucien and maybe he should have said something to his sister sooner. But he didn't want to be responsible for breaking the truth to her. His sister was so innocent and fun loving, the icky truth might have crushed her. However, her being married complected things. Because now someone would have to tell her, before she made a fool of herself.

"Oh, nothing's wrong. Yang didn't do anything. He simply asked me a question. That question triggered a lot of different thoughts." Lucien turned and took a smaller piece of cake. He took a little bite of it, before realizing how good it was. "For a lady who throws teapots at people she really can cook." Lucien grinned and finished off his cake. Where was Calypso? and Liam? They had probably ventured off to the bedroom they had been assigned for the night. Too bad Annabelle would miss those fireworks....

Keykku watched the guy walked off, then looked to the girl. "Sorry about that, ma'am. Didn't mean to do it, I promise." Finn had came up and stood by the girl, her eyes dark as the night around her. She looked like a creature of the night.

Astareal studied the girls, wondering what they were doing out here. The one looked like another Necromancer, but didn't seem to be linked to any Dead. Perhaps that was just her normal look. Or perhaps she was hiding something. That made Astareal stop and think. Yrael was still missing, wasn't he? "No worries." Astareal walked away from the two, looking around for her cat. He was up to something, she could sense it.

Ying laughed at Lucien's remark about the teapot girl. "Yeah it is really good cake. So um..was there something you wanted to show me?" She asked remembering what Lucien said earlier. She was really exited about the surprise. She looked around and noticed that everyone seemed to have gone to the garden. Thats probably where the surprise was she thought.

Xander bored just sitting there decided to walk around. After a while he found himself in the garden. This was where the fireworks were going to take place.

"Oh, yeah. I didn't forget. I'm waiting for a... friend to show up first." After saying this, the blonde and the pale one bust out of the garden, panting. Lucien smiled. "I guess this means that the surpirse is ready." Lucien grabbed Ying's hand and led her out into the garden, past the flowers, to a small clearing on top of a hill. A blanket was set out on top of the green grass, perfect for the two to sit on. Everyone else was either in the garden or down below.

Keykku sighed when Lucien left right away, without even saying anything to her. Finn grinned and took off running again. Keykku, instead, stayed behind and walked over to the cake. Eyeing it quietly, she grabbed a piece. Looking around, she shoved the cake in her mouth and then walked the direction Finn had ran. It was time for the big bangs.... hopefully Jade wasn't going to yell at Lucien again. Or Finn, for that matter.

Finn turned into a bird and plummeted down into the valley, smiling as she trasformed in midair. Grabbing her flame dispenser, she lit one of the first fireworks. She didn't bother to back up, for it wouldn't bother her anyways. Keykku hadn't gotten there yet, so she didn't have to worry about anything. Even though the blonde would be mad at her, Finn figured that this would be worth it. She could get in at least two before that girl arrived.

Jack had meandered over where everyone else had met, spotting that really pale singer, that werewolf kid, that freaky little boy, and that other girl. Wasn't she supposed to be helping with the...

Xander found a spot and sat down to watch the fireworks. The mean elf girl left so there wasn't any danger of a fight. He watched the sky with anticipation. Already a few fire works were making their way across the sky.

Ying smiled as Lucien led her away. This was going to be really exciting. She sat down on the blanket and looked at Lucien curiously. "So whats the surprise? can you give me a hint?" She asked.

Yang upon hearing the commotion as people were settling down to watch the fire works began to head back in the direction he came. He found a spot and sat down and watched the sky. It started earlier then expected, a few were already lighting up the sky when he arrived.

Ying heard the noises coming from above and looked up. Her eyes filled up with awe and a smile crossed her lips. Whatever it was, it was really cool and bright. "Wow!" She said amazed.

((I didn't think that she'd left... but Keykku has an excuse. She wasn't at the wedding/reception. )

Lucien smiled to Ying, his eyes shining in what little light there was. These would last about a half an hour, then they would be over with. The only thing that would possibly be next was more dancing, cake, music, and perhaps, finally, a change of clothes. The change of clothes, though, was probably going to take place as soon as he went inside the castle. This stupid outfit seemed like it was giving him a rash or something, and it was itchy. Probably infested with fleas or something like that. "These things are truly wonderful. I'd tell you about the way you make them, but that would probably be a bit boring."

Keykku smiled and watched the fireworks for a moment, before running down into the slight valley where Finn was. "Why'd you start without me? Put in the white, silver, and gold one next." Keykku snatched up the prettiest firework and plopped it into the holder thingymajigger, stepping back when Finn lit the fuse. Why did things have to be so hypnotizing and pertiful? Perhaps everyone had started swarming over to where the newlyweds were; that was the best spot to see the fireworks from....

Xander was having a hard time seeing where he was so he went to find a better spot. The best spot he could see was near the newlyweds. Taking a seat he noticed that he wasn't the only one that had this idea. He could see Yang had also came over to get a better seat. Or maybe it was to keep an eye on Ying, he wasn't sure.

"No thanks i would rather that they stay a mystery. It's more fun that way." Ying said when Lucien asked if she wanted to know how to make them. There was a lot of people nearby, probably to get good seats for the fireworks. After half an hour they were over, much to her disappointment. She looked up at the full moon above that was partly covered by a dust cloud from the fire works. "Hey Lucien i was wondering what the honeymoon is? And where do i find the stork that brings babies because i kind of wanted to have one right away." Ying asked smiling at Lucien. She had no idea just how awkward her questions were because she had no idea what she was actually talking about. It was an innocent question, similar to how a child would ask about the man in the moon.

Yang hearing what she asked covered his face with his hand. This was going to be awkward, for more reasons then one. He wish he could turn invisible and he bet Lucien would feel the same way. Still the male twin couldn't help but laugh to himself. She was just so amusingly innocent.

Xander couldn't really make out what Ying was talking about because he was somewhat far from them. It sounded like it had something to do with babies though. At first he wasn't quite sure what they were, but then he remembered that they were small kids that cried a lot. He wondered why anyone would want them, they sounded annoying.

Lucien closed his eyes tightly, and didn't open them for a few moments. Was this really happening, right now? He didn't even know how to... explain it, really. "I'll tell you about the honeymoon thing... later." Lucien thought for a moment, trying to figure out a way to word his sentences correctly. "And a stork doesn't give you a baby." Thinking for another moment, Lucien chewed on his lip. This was going to be a little hard to explain.

Jack walked up, caught a glimpse of the last two booms, and stared at the two quietly. When the female asked a question, the pirate's eyes grew wide. He was definitley going to eavesdrop on this conversation, along with many others... apparently.

"You see, when a boy and a girl love each other very much, they may want to have a baby. So then..." How was he to word the next part, Lucien wondered. This was going to be a hard task on his brain. Perhaps it would be better to just tell her flat out? Or continue on with the stork thing? Or adopt a child and say Santa brought it? Why did this have to be so hard to explain?

Ying looked at Lucien in a confused manner not sure what he was talking about. So what if the stork didn't bring babies? And women and men loving each other, what did that have to do with it. She didn't understand why he seemed so nervous. "Your not making any sense."

Yang stood up and started trying to shoo everyone away. "ok, the party is over. Time for everyone to leave, the newlyweds need some alone time." It would be hard enough for Lucien to explain without a whole mass of people eavesdropping.

Xander got up and began to walk away. Something weird was going on. He figured he should go, it wasn't his business. All the fun stuff was over anyway. But before he went he took a few baked goods. The crazy teapot lady was a good baker, and it probably would be a long time before he had a chance to eat something so yummy. Besides there was about a hundred of everything left. It wasn't stealing if it was all laid out in the open, at least he hoped not.

"Okay, forget that. You wanna know where babies come from, right? I'll start over." Thinking for a moment, he had everything all planned out. "Babies are created, really. When two people love each other, they make love, the baby is created, housed in the mother for nine months, then it... pops out... and is a normal baby." Lucien hoped that'd do it, but he had a feeling that it would only bring on more questions. He figured that it was best to get this out of the way now rather than later, anyways.

When Yang started chasing everyone away, Jack hid and continued listening. This was too extrordinary to pass by. This didn't happen everyday. THis was downright interesting. With a grin, he nestled into a hedge and sat there quietly, istening, hoping no one would notice his absence or his presence.

"How do you make Love. Isn't it an emotion?" Ying asked puzzle. this was really confusing. How did a babe end up inside a women and how did it come out? Lucien's explanation didn't help at all. She stood up and looked at Lucien waiting for an explanation. "Maybe we should go into the castle to talk." She suggested. Lucien was normally quite blunt and said things as they were. What ever the truth behind babies was, it made him nervous. So perhaps it was better for them to talk in private. Even though Yang seemed to be chasing everyone away, it was still much safer inside.

Yang looked around trying see if he missed anyone. He almost didn't see the pirate but he could see the moon light reflecting of his rum bottle. Yang walked up to where the pirate hid and stood there waiting for the pirate to leave on his own. If not he would use force, he was tempted to kick jack as it was.
