Lucien laughed lightly. "Tradition isn't a rule, so if you want different clothing, talk to the tailor. He should be able to make something that looks traditional but allows you to breathe. I agree with you on the clothes, though. Woolen socks are worthless." Lucien stopped for a moment and ripped off his shoes and socks with his free hand. His feet were sweaty and they felt disgusting. Hopefully he didn't slip on the tile floor. That wouldn't be good. Upon reaching the hallway, two servants were waiting there with a change of clothing. Lucien heaved a sigh of relief and took the clothes gratefully. "Thank you." The clothes were white, but they were made out of a light, silky cloth. He could tolerate that. At least he woulldn't sweat to death.

Ying went into another room and changed into a green dress. It was made of silk so it was nice and comfortable. Once done she went to find Lucien. “Let’s eat." The werewolf suggested once she found him. She didn't even wait to hear his answer and headed to the area where all the food was being served for the after party thing. It was really weird how everyone looked at her now that she was queen. The girl was beginning to notice it more and more. It was as if she was a different person to them. She didn’t feel any different and she didn’t act any different. So why all the strangeness?

Lucien nodded in response and followed after her, noticing all of the looks. He couldn't help but smirk. If he wanted to he could probably have them beheaded for looking like that. How fun would that be? The man looked around. Walking in there was like parting the red sea, the people moved to either side so that their King and Queen could get through. That was nice of them, but, he figured that it wasn't out of will. They felt it correct and needed, forced, really. He couldn't exactly demand them to act normal, then they would act the same and become rahter confused. Therefore, he was just going to eat quietly and get out of there.

Ying grabbed some food and ate as quickly as she could. She smiled when she noticed the look on Luciens face. It seemed he was thinking the same thing she was. Trying to think of something else she began to think of her responsibilities. Both her and Lucien were in charge of so many people. The girl needed to be able to do what is best for them no matter what. So far things were peaceful and calm but that could change quickly. She didn't really know where to start but she had an idea. The laws needed to be looked at to make sure they were fair, the biggest threat was usually inner turmoil and rebellion not out side forces. The girl took her role seriously even though she also liked to fool around a lot.

Lucien had already gotten done stuffing his face and was now looking around, this way and that, trying to find something interesting to look at. Occasionally he would catch some random person looking at him and he would put on a HUGE smile, his eyes squinting because of its enormous size. He was enjoying himself, for the most part. What to do next? Looking around anxiously, he smiled lightly toward Ying. "What should we do next?" He had the slight feeling it would involve royal duties, which there happened to be a few too many of.

Ying shrugged. "royalty stuff i guess. Get it all done now then we can relax later." She suggested getting up. The were girl left the room and made her way to the room where the laws were kept. Her pace was slow so that Lucien could catch up if he wanted to. After all the work was done she didn't know what she would do. Go in to town and look around maybe.

Lucien sighed. He felt he should follow, just because it was his kingly 'duty'. Duties. Who needed them? They were virtually useless, weren't they? Probably not. After a moment, he got up and raced after Ying, catching up to her just before she got into the room. "There aren't very many. All of the old ones were discarded because they were harsh and rather stupid. Like 'no wearing pink of the third wednesday of every month unless on the day of the full moon' and such. Only the ones that regard treason, banishment, and other such things were left." Lucien shrugged. He had people do this earlier, and he had personally picked which once stayed and which ones went.
