Lucien smirked at the name. It was a smirk of pure enjoyment, not mocking nor rude. Royce and Serena. Hmmpf. Never thought it would go from 'Grandpa' to 'Royce'. Although, it was a decent nickname. It just sounded... strange. Apparently he had gotten used to being called Grandpa so often that it was just weird to be called something different. "I don't know, Serena. Perhaps... Nope. That's a bit too dangerous for a woman." A dangerous, mischevious look appeared in Lucien's eyes and his mouth turned into a small little half smile, one side smiling, the other blank. This was a bit of a challenge, but...

Ying crossed her arms at Luciens comment. "Women can do anything men can do. I'll be the judge of what is or is not dangerous for me." She had to smile though. This was just Lucien being his usual protective self. He was almost as bad as Yang was. It was a wonder the werewolf girl even got a chance to get out of the house the way the two boys overly protected her."So what is this dangerous thing?" She asked curiously. The guy was obviously up to something. But that was ok with her, because usually he came up with really fun things to do.

"If that's the case, then men can't do everything women can do." Lucien shook his head, the smile still firm on his face. That brought back the bad thoughts, but he just shoved them aside, annoyed. He refused to be brought down. "But, if you feel you must attempt this dangerous thing, I may as well tell you what it happens to be." The grin widened and became even more true. Laughing lightly, he shook his head once more. "Although I would like to keep you in suspense." So he did.

"Come on tell me, what is it?" She asked excitedly and a little impatiently. She jumped around wildly in anticipation. Why did he have to be so mean. Not knowing things drove her crazy. Secrets especially ones involving something fun annoyed her. The suspense was going to kill her. This was one of those times she wanted to hit Lucien with something. Too bad there wasn't any rocks.
Sure her reaction was kind of childish but she didn't care. Ying really wanted to know! Besides something told her that Lucien wouldn't mind. After all she had always been this way and it was this light hearted attitude that Lucien enjoyed. At least she though so, they were married after all. It was an opposite attract sort of relationship. They balanced each other out. Lucien was kind of sarcastic, mean, and hard headed. But he was also kind, loyal, protective, and funny. She was childish, impatient, stubborn, and a prankster. But also clever, happy, carefree, and sweet. They were defiantly an odd pair however they matched up perfictly.

"You would do well to stop doing that. But, siince you going to DIE if you don't know," Upon saying die, he pretended to faint, "I thought we might go jump in the moat. I'm sure that there aren't any alligators, and it is rather hot out today. Why not go for a swim? The water comes right from the river. I was looking around last week and I found this thick rope, and I had a guard tie it to one of the watch towers. You could use it to swing into the moat. But it would be hard to do and it would take a great deal of upperbody strength." Lucien grinned. He wanted to hear a reply before he just off and left. That would be extremely dumb thing to do. For all he knew, she wasn't up for it. But he doubted that. Ying was normally up for anything.

Ying playfully punched Lucien's arm at his comment. "Yeah sounds fun." She said following him. If she couldn't manage in this form she could always turn into her werewolf form. Smiling the werewolf girl took off running towards the moat. "Last one there gets to be alligator bait!" She called teasingly. Once she got there she waited for him. This would be fun she couldn't wait. Although she failed to see what the danger was. Perhaps he was just bluffing about that.

Lucien trotted afterward, not bothering to run fast enough to keep up. It was probably best to keep his energy stores high. Taking off his shirt and undershirt, he had figured out why it was so hot. Stupid layered clothing. Grabbing the rope, Lucien pulled it back far enough to get a decent swing. "You going first? Or am I?" The man grinned, studying the water carefully. It was a clear blue, cold as the glaciers it came from. He readied his muscles, knowing that he was going to have to cling to that rope if he didn't want his swing to end in disaster. Which was why it was dangerous. You had to time it just right because the moat was narrow and on either side was a deep, rocky ditch. Mistiming it would lead to major injuries, if you got lucky.

Ying smiled mischiviously. "You were last to get here so you get to be first." The were said. She also wanted him to go first because she wasn't quite sure what to do. So by watching him she would get a better sense of how to do this withought getting killed. The water looked really nice and reflected like a mirror. Hopefully the water wouldn't be to cold.

Lucien shrugged. "If you insist." Holding onto the rope firmly with all his strength, he pushed off the ground and placed his feet on the knot at the end of the rope. Jumping off right near where the moat started, he landed near the center with a huge splash. Coming up for air, he grinned. Sure enough, the water was a bit cold, but it felt nice all the same. "C'mon in! The water's fine! It's rather chilly but it feels nice on a day like this." He kept his feet kicking underwater, just to keep his head out from the cool blue liquid. It was then that he noticed that there may be fish in here. As long as none of the bit him, he decided he would be fine.

She smiled at him. "ok then if you say so but if i die of hypothermia it is your fault. " Ying took a running jump and grabbed on to the rope as she leaped. This way she didn't have to struggle. The force of her jump sent the rope swinging toward the water. She let go of the rope and......accedently landed on top of Lucien. Looking around she tried to find him in the water, hoping she hadn't killed him. The girl wasn't all that heavy but her landing on him like that could have done some harm. That would be terrible killing your husband the day after marriage.

((Niiiice lol))
That was totally, completely, tremendously unexpected. Lucien never would've though that she would've landed on top of him. Appreantly... screw that thought. he didn't have a brain to think things out that technically. Sure, A2 + B2 = C2 but he wasn't going to be the one to do any of that. So he just sucked it up, ready to grin and bear it. he took the force of Ying landing on top of him, bracing himself for it. She wasn't nearly as heavy as he had thought. The force of it sent him under, which he didn't mind. It was after he'd had his eyes open for a moment when he saw the giant fish. It was right in front of his face. Staring him down. The thing came a little closer to the man and Lucien screamed underwater and pushed himself toward the surface. The fish was startled for a moment, then it followed after.
From the surface, all one could've seen was a rush of bubbles and then someone surfacing and clawing their way onto the shore. Once there, Lucien stared into the water, trying to find that fish again. color=yellow]"When I see you, you sneaky little bastard, you don't want to know what I'll do to you."[/color] Lucien was on his hands and knees, watching every movement in the water. If one didn't know what he was doing, they would probably laugh and maybe even be a little frightened. But, ignoring all that, he kept staring into the water, eyes darting back and forth.

(( couldn't resist that opportunity. )) Ying looked around frantically trying to find Lucien. Finally after what seemed like ages she saw him sufficing on the shore. The girl quickly headed over to him and pulled him into a hug. "I'm so sorry are you ok?" He seemed to be ok. Though he was screaming at something. She thought he was talking to her. "I'm sorry i really didn't mean it please don't be mad." She said starting to get a little upset. She didn't mind being called sneaky because she was sort of. But she couldn't stand being called a bastered. That was an insult to her parents. Didn't bastered mean that the one of the parents had a babe with someone else and 'bastered' was what they called the child. She was sure whoever her parents were they loved each other and did not have babies with other people.

Lucien growled under his breath. "I wasn't talking to you. I'm not mad at you. That fish, however, is going to DIE." Lucien was still staring at the water. If he had a tail, it would be flicking back and forth, like a cat's would. That fish still hadn't came out. Perhaps he had kicked it in his hurry to get onto shore. Perhaps he had kicked it hard enough to kill it. Probably not, though. It would be back some other time. Looking at Ying, he shook his head. "Stupid fish. I'm sorry for yelling. I didn't mean to get so angry over virtually nothing." The man lokoed at the ground and slapped on a sad little puppy dog face. Apparently he needed to get something put up so that there were no fish in that moat.

Ying smiled and shook her head at him. It was somewhat silly that he was so scared of fish. "Come on then. We should go back home." She suggested. He probably wouldn't want to go back in the water after that. The were was getting a little cold from the water and she figured if they stayed out to long people would worry. "So this is kind of the first official day as you being king and being a husband. What do you want to do?" Ying had always dreamed of being a queen and what it would be like. But never in her life had she ever thought it would actually happen especially with the likes of Royce. The girl was excited to see just what they had to do.

Lucien raised an eyebrow. She seemed eager enough to do a whole bunch of boring crap. "I don't know. But I assume that someone has some random royal matter that needs to be tended to. Like hosting a party or filling out paperwork or banishing someone. I kind of want to go see what everyone is doing, though, to make sure everrything is in order." The man shrugged. In truth, he would rather run away from it all. He had decided not to a long, long time ago. He wasn't going to chicken out now.

"Sounds fun...except for the paper work and banishing people part." Ying commented. She was excited because it was something new. Not to many people could say that they ran a whole kingdom. Sure like any job it would have it's boring and hard parts but the girl was certain there was some good. Though now that she thought about it maybe her perceptions were wrong. The girl had no idea of how to run a kingdom or what it really meant. After all the stories of queens and kings don't really mention that stuff. Still she wanted to give it a try, and who knows maybe she would be good at it.
