A Fresh Kill (Open)

"He's going to start messing around with your mind now. I say you let me loose and then I can kill him. We'd both enjoy that." Yrael said this, his face emotionless. He liked his own little way to do things. Astareal looked at the cat quietly, wondering if he was lying. If he was, then.... she looked at Akuma. What a dirty cheat. "Well then, if he is right, I should probably leave. I don't like doing things that I don't want too. Hell, if you'd just ask, I'd probably say yes. I'm a very helpful [person what I want to be." She shrugged. That was a partial lie, her definition of help and a lot of other people's differed majorly. Hopefully, if the kid wanted something, he would just spit it out.

[red]"Akuma, I do not with to be a bother, but I feel as if no one wishes to play your little game here." Kane looked at Akuma, his arms still folded. He knew it a fight he would destroy Akuma. He knew his tricks as they were partners. "Let us hurry before time is too late."[/red]

Akuma smiled in spite of himself. It was always most entertaining when people learn to adapt to him. Perhaps this meant he would need more practice, and clearly more time away from Kane. Sighing the demon said to Kane"Very well then....you really are such a kill joy." Lately Kane had been getting rather bossy, he blamed that Ambrosia girl for that. Since they met with the elementals Kane had been acting very odd, being unusually bossy was one example. To Astreal he said" Despite what your creature says i was serious about your talent. However it is true that i want something. See we, that is, Kane and I need to get information from the queens. I thought your ability would come in handy." Afterward he shrugged and let the girl make of it what she wanted.

Astareal did an inward laugh. They needed her help. Wanted it, really. Two big boys too scared to do it all themselves. That thought made her giggle aloud. "I don't know about that. Helping you people get what you want pretty much gives me nothing. But I may do it. On one condition." She could pretty much hear what Yrael was thinking: Oh, joy. A condition. That ain't gunna be good. That cat didn't know how good this could possibly be for him. Astareal looked at the cat, and then back at Kane and Akuma. She was wondering if they wanted to know what that condition was. Of course they were! If not, then... she didn't even know what the condition was yet....

[red]"And what would that be..." Kane looked at her. He didn't have the time for this. He was eager to get started on doing something more than the usual mugging and killing of poor innocent souls. He wanted his challenge. He wanted his perfect enemy.[/red]

"yes by all means do tell." Akuma said. The demon was curious to see what the girl could possibly want from them. Hopefully it wouldn't be some thing ridiculous like babe sitting one of her dead creatures. This was making him mad, everyone was ruining his fun. First it was the cat creature mouthing off , then it was the girl for just plan nagging at him , then finally Kane for acting all high and mighty. Still they had their uses so the demon would put up with them for a while longer. He really hoped the queen would be as annoying as this.

Astareal sighed. What would that 'one condition' be? She tilted her head to the side and messed around with a few loose browwn hairs. Thinking for a moment, she thought of something splendid. Yes, this... this would definitle work. Especially if... "Hey, Mogget. You know how to make that preservative stuff, right?" The cat nodded, knowing where she was going to go with this. "Okay, then. If you plan on killing anyone in there, namely the queens or other royalty, I want the bodies. Which would also mean that you might not want to char the bones..." She looked at Kane. "But their brains could be mushy and deformed." She looked at Akuma. "I want at least two that are usable and they don't look obviously dead. Like a stab through the back? Something that could be covered easily. I have a wonderful idea for myself." Astareal grinned. Yrael grinned bigger. This would play out rather well.... if they complied. If not, then.... well, their plans would be interupted.

[red]"I had no intention of killing royalty. I was simply going to kill all guards in my way. You can have them." Kane looked at Akuma. He was unsure what was going on in his mind, he never cared to know. His mind was one of its own.[/red]

(( hmmm interesting. Are you going where i think your going with this? Having Astreal uses the queens bodies to trick people into thinking their still alive. If so this could be very interesting as far as the 'show down' goes. ))

Akuma pondered her requests for a few moments. Actually he didn't really intend to kill the queens just yet. He simply wanted to know what they were up to. It was always good to observe others before making any sort of move. On the other hand killing them now would make things faster and easier. "So may i ask what you plan on doing with them?"The demon asked. If he let her keep the bodies it could just be troublesome for him later if he and Kane tried to pursue the kingdom. Having two undead queens running about could ruing their plans if people thought they were the real ones. He couldn't think of any other logical reason why the necromancer would want them except to trick people with them and give her that advantage over them.

Astareal's smile diminished. No bodies, no deal. She looked at Akuma, the vision in one eye blurring slightly. She blinked and used her finger to wipe whatever it was out, before shaking her head. "If they aren't dead, I couldn't do anything. But, now that you've told me so much about this.... or at least from what I've inferred... I'm not telling you what I had planned to do. Although, I would've if they were surely going to be dead. I drive a hard bargain. I don't really need all of the queens, maybe just the head of the guards and... one of them." Astareal flicked something out of her nails. This wasn't going to go anywhere. Although, if they did kill the head guard, she could go somewhere with that. Especially if what she had in mind would work.

((Yup lol that's where I was going. Wouldn't that be fun? XD))
