(( lol poor jade XD))
Jade saw the smoke and immidiatly knew it was fire. She sat there int her house paralysed in fear. It was happening again! The villige was going to burn. Breathing hevily she tried to get up and leave the house. Everything was blank...sights and sounds were all gone there was only her fear. Then pain....a sharp shooting pain. The elf snapped out of her transe like state to see Hiowie biting her arm. He had obviously thought it was the only way to get her attention. Sadly it was probably true. She forsed a smiled of reassurence and made her way out side. Goodnessake she was a water elemental...water beats fire. But that didn't really make her feel better.
Taking a bucket of water sshe took a few deep breaths before going outside. The fire was on only one house not that far from hers. Using the water from the bucket she hurlled it at the heart of the fire putting it out. Afterward she fainted with relif. How pethetic was she?

Oliver stood up, looking at the boy and his parents. What a happy reunion. He wished that could happen to him. "Well, Ransom, I think we should be going now. The fire looks under control and--" Oliver looked over, only to see that his dragon was gone. Blinking, he looked around. The white dragon was over by someone lying on the ground... that elf girl? Ha. That was funny. Oliver walked over, wondering if the girl was dead. Probably not, or else Ransom might have been eating her... but he wasn't, which was a wonderful sign.
Oliver stooped down by the girl, checking for a pulse. Apparently she was ust unconcious. "Perhaps we should take her back to her house? Oh, wait, I forgot. I'm not allowed in there, am I?" Oliver looked at the dragon and smirked, before looking back at the girl. This was a perfect time to be lying on the ground, seemingly dead. He shook his head, then went to pick her up. He didn't care what he was told, he was taking her back to her house and waiting to make sure she was alright. So he did. The fire had died out and everyone felt better, a bit relieved.

A few hours later the elf woke up in the couch. It seemed some random person had been nice enough to take her back home. She felt embarrassed that she had fainted like that in the middle of the village. The only comfort was that hopefully people were to busy looking at the fire then her. Jade sat up and looked around and saw Hiowie first. "What the heck happened?"
Obviously you fainted. the person who brought you here was the stranger from earlier. Though i think you should be happy, your making progress getting over your fears....sort of. Hiowie told the girl smiling in amusement. He was glade she was alright though he couldn't help but find the situation funny.
Jade glared at the wolf in annoyance." It isn't funny." That was just wonderful, now she owed that thieving scumbag. Her eyes wondered around the room hoping the guy had left. Unfortunately she wasn't that lucky for the guy was standing in the corner with the dragon at his heels. This was one of those times she wished she could turn invisible.

Oliver sighed quietly. At least he hadn't had to go get someone to check on her. She'd been like that for long enough, and opening her eyes was probably a good sign. Ransom stood beside him, looking around quietly. Trying to find a good way out if anything happened. The red haired man just stood there, arms folded across his chest, eyes and facial expression emotionless. That was, of course, how he felt. Indifferent to the whole situation.
"I suppose I should be going now. Probably just get chewed out for being in your house. Doesn't really sound appealing right now, considering how I'm rather tired and would become rather irritated if such a thing were to happen." Oliver looked the blonde over and then leaned back against the wall. He was tempted to leave, but he figured he should at least stay long enough for her to say 'thank you'. Why not? He thought he deserved it.

Jade scoweld at his remark. "Unfortunatly since it appears you helped me he isn't going to eat you. And since you helped me i guess i have to let you stay here. But if you try anything else then all bets are off and you will get eaten." She told the guy in an irritated tone. The elf really hated the idea of having to be saved especially by someone like this guy. Hopefully the guy would not cause anymore trouble but somehow she doupted that. Too bad she didn't have any magic spells or something to keep him here.

Oliver shook his head quietly, then looked at his feet. This was a wonderful way to be thanked. At least the little boy's parents were greatful. If they still had a house he could probably stay there. Absentmindedly, he smirked. Looking toward Ransom, he nodded and then looked at the elf. "I appreciate that, but... oh, I don't know. I actually planned on leaving. But, ifI could stay here..." The man looked back at his feet. He didn't know what he wanted to do, he just wanted the best for Ransom. Too bad the dragon coudn't voice his opinion.

The elf shrugged at his comment. She really didn't care what the guy decided to do. Her only concern was that she owed him and that he might cause trouble if he left. "Your a grown man i'm sure your capable of making your own choice. I'm not making you stay here."
Looking at the dragon she wondered what the dragon wanted. "Since there is two of you though, i wonder if your dragon gets any say? I don't know much about dragon riders..but aren't the dragon and the rider suppose to be able to communicate with each other some how?"

Oliver listened quietly, working everything through his mind. What would be best? Probably staying, but he didn't really trust anyone and he knew what he had done... and yet, he didn't care. Funny how that happened, really. Looking at the dragon for a moment, he knew it best to stay. Then again, the woods was just as comfortable as a house. No blankets, though. He'd have to invest in that. Just as the elf began to speak again, his ears twitched and he looked up at her.
Raising an eyebrow at the girl, he then looked at Ransom. Communication, huh? "He does what he pleases unless I need him. Never really had a reason to chat. Body language works just as well as speaking when you're around someone almost 24/7." Studying Ransom for a moment, he wondered if the dragon did have a way to talk to him. If he did, then... how would he go about doing it? Words probably weren't going to come out of his mouth anytime soon. At least not until he was an adult. "Perhaps when he gets older it'll happen."

The elf shrugged again. She supposed it was possible to communicate with body languge. But Jade was a little skeptical about how far that could go. There were only a limmited range of feelings and desires someone could portray using only body languge. " ok..so then what is your desision? Are you going to stay here or not?"

Oliver grunted. He didn't know. He was beginning to get a headache from thinking about one thing for an extended amount of time. "Ransom?" He looked at the dragon, who stared right back. Dang thing was way to agreeable. "I guess we might try to. It wouldn't hurt anything. As long as it's fine with you, then yes. I would hate to be a burden." Oliver smirked devilishly, and then looked back at the ground. It was about time to go to sleep. Therefore... he figured that it would be good for the both of them to actually sleep in a house for one night a week. This was bound to be that one night, so, he was going to stay.

"Well here is the couch. You leave first thing tomorrow this is not a bed and breakfast so don't expect any food. And please try to behave yourself...i'm sure you can restrain your criminal tendencies for one night." Jade said. The elf went over to her room and hoped that this would be the last of the whole situation. With luck tomorrow the guy would be gone and she could finish her book.
(( i think thats it unless you want to have something happen in the morning))
