"Ummm..." she said as they were walking. "It's not so far away, just follow me. My family runs a small little inn. Not many people visit, we're not located in a very....populated area. I'd say at least a half hour walk, I think that's how long anyway. It might have felt longer to me though, 'cause I was alone."

The boy just nodded and kept walking. Xander was kind of afraid to meet with the girls family. He had only been to other peoples homes a few times. They hybrid had no idea what he should do or say when meeting someones family. Maybe he could just drop off the stuff and leave before anything happened. But then that would probably just seem rude. Why was he thinking so hard about this, did it really matter? She was only a stranger, so it wasn't like he had to impress anybody. He just had to help bring some stuff, right?

"I wish I knew what time it was, I wonder if everyone's in bed already...." said Kokoro as they continued walking. "I don't think it's that far now. If the lanterns are lit, someone's up, if not, everyone is asleep...including guests." Kokoro never talked this much before. Usually she is quite uncomfortable or nervous around other people, but for some reason, she felt a little more confident with this boy.

"so what happens if they are asleep?" Xander asked. If the girls family were all in bed then they how could they give them the stuff? What would be the best thing to do in that situation, maybe just leave the stuff on a table or something. He had no idea what he should do so he would just let the girl take the lead. Perhaps it would be easer if they were in bed, then there wouldn't be any of the meeting people awkwardness.

"We just walk in and put the stuff away, I guess." Kokoro replied. They continued walking, and the inn started to come in sight. There appeared to be one lantern lit, but only on the window sill of the front, meaning everyone was asleep, but a light was left there so Kokoro wouldn't stumble in the dark. "Here we are! Everyone's asleep!"

"um ok......" Xander said following the girl. The inn was a nice looking place. He wondered how many people were staying here. He watched the girl puzzlingly. The boy had no idea where to put the stuff. Hopefully the other people wouldn't wake up he just wanted to leave without having to meet them. It would just be so strange.

Kokoro opened the door. Shadows danced along the walls and floor, as lights from various scattered candles lit the room. "They left candles lit for me, too!" she smiled with closed eyes, setting everything down on one of the large tables. "You can just set everything down here!" She pointed to the same table she just put stuff on, smiling. "Come on, don't be shy!" Wow, that was weird for her to say. Usually SHE is the shy one, but now she was feeling confident. Why was that?

"ok" Xander said. He walked in and placed the stuff on the table the girl indicated. Afterward he just stood there waiting to see what would happen next. The boy didn't just want to leave or do anything else unless the girl indicated it was alright. He looked at the candles, they were nice and some how calming. It was kind of strange to be in a strangers house like this. She seemed nice and quiet to. That was good because he didn't really have much to say and he would be boring to someone who did talk a lot.

"Thank you very much!" she bowed. "Ummm...it was nice...meeting you...." She sort of blushed in embarrasment, the shyness was returning, and she hoped he didn't noticed. But he appeared to be the same way as her; one with very few words, though she'd been the one talking the most. No one would think it's alot, but to her, it was as if she babbled on and on.

"your welcome." Xander replied and walked out the door. He assumed it was a dismissal because it sounded like one. Looking at the sky he sighed to himself. There wasn't enough time to go back to the market. So he walked back to where the twins lived. Maybe he could try again another night.
(( i believe this is the end. It was good while it lasted.))
