Any bakery stands?! [YumiShade]

Kokoro wandered around Venalicium Town. She was sent to go buy some baked goods for the inn. She needed bread flour and some pastries such as pie or cake. She held a small sack full of coins, promising herself she will only buy what she was sent out to buy. There were so many stands, so many things, but she closed her eyes, gripping the money tightly. 'I don't see any bakery stands, maybe I'm in the wrong place....'

(( You didn't specify night or day so i guess I'll just make it night. It's like a medieval fantasy thing so it's not like they have closing hours. ^_^ But it the future you should specify because some people play characters that only come out at night. ))

Feeling useless Xander decide to surprise the were wolf twins by buying stuff at the markets before they woke up. He had been staying with them a lot lately and felt really bad about it, even though they didn't seem to mined. The only thing was the hybrid boy had absolutely no idea what to get...or how for that matter how. Taking the money they had would have been a horrible thing to do and he didn't have any money of his own. This was going to be a disaster, he had no idea what he was doing. The white haired kid went from shop to shop to look at the various things to get an idea of what to get. Maybe if he was lucky once he found what he wanted he could find some other way to pay for the item. Perhaps by helping clean the shop or something...Bottom line he was desperate and confused.

There was a chilling breeze in the air. Kokoro wrapped her arms around herself, wishing she had listened to her older cousin about bringing a jacket. She was feeling nervous, since it was night time. She wish she hadn't of gone alone. Not looking where she was going, she accidently bumped into someone and fell backwards. She looked up at the person-a white haired boy-and said quickly, "Oh! I am so sorry! Please forgive me!"

Xander nearly jumped not expecting someone else to be out so late. He turned around and faced the girl as she apologized. "it's ok." The boy said giving her a nervous smile. The girl seemed to be just as nervous as he was. Noticing that she had fallen he tried to help her up. "Are you alright?" He wasn't all that sure what to do now. He would feel bad if he just left her but he really wasn't all that great with meeting people.

Kokoro sort of blushed in embarrasment as he helped her up. "I--I'm so sorry," she said again, looking down at the floor. "I stumble alot in the dark, and I'm looking for a bkery stand because I was sent out by my family to get some supplies for the inn. Ummm...do you happen to know of a....bakery stand?"
Oh no, I hope I'm not blabbing too much. she thought to herself.

Xander blinked trying to gather everything she was saying. She was speaking really fast. He shook his head slightly trying to clear his head a bit from the onslaught of information. The girl seemed to need to get stuff at a bakery. He wondered what a bakery was. "Um..sorry but whats a bakery?" He also looked down at the ground hoping the girl didn't make fun of him for not knowing what a bakery was.

"A bakery is where they bake stuff," she replied. "Ummm....like bread and cakes and stuff like that. I also need to buy flour and such ingredients, 'cause we also bake our own things."
She stood there, awaiting his reply. He already seemed a bit confused when she started talking to him, then again, it was really fast and probably was alot to take in.

"oh..um...is that it?" Xander asked pointing to a shop. Maybe thats what he could get. The twins liked cake...especially Ying. He wondered where the girl lived and why she was all alone. But then again, most people probably wondered the same thing about him.Then he thought of something, he didn't even know the girls name. And she didn't know his either. He wondered if he should tell her or just keep it to himself.

Kokoro looked the direction where the boy pointed. A sweet aroma filled the air from the stand. "Yes, that is it!" she said. Suddenly, she jumped and wrapped her arms around him. "Oh, thank you!"
Once she had realized what she had just done, she quickly jumped bacl, coloring rushing to her face. She's never done that before, in fact, she never experienced a hyper moment like that. "I...I'm sorry," she bowed. "Please forgive me, that was very rude."

Xander nearly jumped back in surprise. He wasn't use to people doing that. "it's ok.." She seemed really happy about finding the bakery. Which meant she was probably just as lost as he was. That was a relief, now he didn't feel so stupid. The boy headed over to the bakery. It was an amazing sight. There was a lot of good looking food. Somethings he had seen before but most he hadn't. The smell and the sight made his stomach growl. He hoped the girl didn't hear, that would be embarrassing.

Kokoro took a deep breath and exhaled it slowly. The boy didn't appear to be irritated by her (though perhaps he was a bit shocked). The stand was full of all sorts of stuff, she had to contain herself from buying more than she was sent out to. All she needed was a few pies or cakes, that's all. She saw one that looked fairly interesting. She pointed at it. "What's this?" she asked the person at the stand.
"Chocolate carrot pie," the man replied. "Ya want it?"
"Uhhh...." Kokoro thought for a moment. 'I'm not sure if they would be in the mood to try anything new.....
She looked over at the boy, who was staring at all the food himself. "Hey, what do you think?"

The boy shrugged. The cake looked interesting and yummy to. "I don't think there is harm in trying it out." Xander replied. But afterward he though about what might happen if it tasted really bad. The girl would get really mad at him. He wondered what he should do about his dilemma. Maybe just waiting for the girl to leave first would be a good idea.

"Hmmm...maybe buying one would be OK," she said, looking at it. "I'll take it!"
"Anything else, little miss?" the man asked.
"Ummm..." she looked over it, remembering why she was here. "Oh yeah! I'd like 2 apple pies, 3 lemon cakes, and a 2 pound bag of flour!"
The man got it all together for her and told her the price. She reached in her little coin sack and gave him the exact amount. Just then, she realized....
"Ohh! How am I going to carry all this?!" her eyes were wide and fearful, what to do??? It's late at night, and she can't carry it all herself. She looked at the boy again. "Ummm...do you know if there is anywhere I can....rent a ride to go back home?"

The boy looked at her puzzled. What did the girl mean by a ride? Xander looked at her stuff and realized she probably needed help carrying all the stuff. "I'll help..if you want" He offered. There was a lot of stuff but maybe between the two of them they would get it all. He could always shape shift into something bigger if they couldn't. Although he had no idea where she lived.

"Are you sure?" she said, responding to him offering her help. "Ummm....thank you, that'd be nice." she looked over at the stuff and thought for a moment. Home was....well, she hasn't calculated the length. She wasn't sure how long it'd take on foot. Perhaps a half hour even. But between the two of them, the load wouldn't be so heavy, plus she'd have a traveling companion. "I think that if we split this load in half, we'll be able to carry it," she said. "Sound like a plan?"

The boy nodded and took his half. It was a little heavy but not so extremely heavy that he wouldn't be able to carry it. "where to?" Xander asked. He waited for the girl to show him where to go. Hopefully it wouldn't take that long because he still had to find things for the werewolf twins.
