"It's not my fault you're dumb." Ambrosia glared at the girl. It truly wasn't her fault. he had just been walking along and the moron had her nose stuck in the book. It wasn't her fault that it was a full on collision, she was paying attention and out of no where came this random chick, ramming into her and knocking her own dang book out of her hands. And what did the jerk do? She stared yelling at Ambrosia. Not cool. That kind of stuff didn't fly with the red head; she was very melodramatic at times and really didn't like to be yelled at. As for that, her above statement was very true, as she thought that she could never be wrong. The typical, Ambrosia like response. The only thing that exceeded the size of her mouth was the size of her ego. The elemental flicked her hair and walked around the girl, who was still glaring at her because of her comment. Hopefully she would get over the fact that she simply dropped her book. It was dangerous to read and walk, anyways. But, no. Instead, Ambrosia felt something hard hit her mid-back. People just couldn't leave well enough alone, could they? ((Don't care who you reply with; could be Jade, could be someone just standing by, Jade could be a random bystander who witnessed this.... it doesn't matter lol))

(( in other words you don't care as long as Jade is in it. lol))
"Your the dumb one for not having sense enough to use your eyes and watch where your going. It's free country i should be able to read when i want how i want. Plus i've seen you do the same thing dozens of times so you have no room to talk." The blond haired elf retorted angrily. Jade had gone for a walk and was reading. Sure it was kind of a stupid thing to do but it wasn't like there was a ton of people around these parts. So the elf figured it would be alright. Plus she thought people would realizes that the elf didn't see them and would move if they saw her. Guess she hadn't expected running into this dumb inconsiderate women. Next thing she knew the red haired elemental knocked her down and made her lose her page. If there was one thing the elf hated it was being interrupted when reading. In anger she threw a stick at the other girl which ended up hitting Ambrosia in the back.

Ambrosia turned around. "Are you insane? I don't read. I might ram into people occasionally but normally they don't make a giant deal over it, like you!" Picking up the stick, she was tempted to chuck it at the elf's head. Some random voice in her told her that it was a bad idea. Tossing the stick gently over to the side of the street, Ambrosia raised her eyebrows and put her hands on her hips. "If it wouldn't have been me ramming into you, it would've been a horse and cart or soemthing. Which, I admit, would've been rather hilarious, but I think that it also woulda been pretty gruesome. Therefore, maybe you should be thankful." It could always be worse. Sure, the elemental didn't have a point, but Jade really didn't either. Nor did she have a right to throw sticks at people, which probably violated some of Ambrosia's rights. Like... well, like the right to not get hurt on a public street. That sounded like a good made up right. Either that or... the pursuit of happiness? Who cared? Didn't matter. But this wasn't going to end up with Jade winning. It woul be a draw or Ambrosia would win, the elemental knew this. But maybe that was just her big-headedness coming into play.

Jade sighed. "Whatever i'm actually tired and i don't feel like arguing. And it is a big deal when i've been trying to read this book for years and always get interrupted at the exact same part and it is annoying me." This was pointless. She picked up the book and tried to find the page she was at. The refused to apologies or admit defeat which was just as well since the other girl didn't seem to want to either. "This round is a draw. See ya later." The elf said as she began to walk away. Just then a big gust of wind blew the book out of her hands....

((Funny thing is, she really would've done that lol )) "Oops. I'm sorry. Didn't mean to. It just kind of... happened." Ambrosia offered a cute little genuinely innocent smile. Her eyes were visibly filled to the brim with joy. She laughed in spite of the situation and pushed her bangs to the side. "You know. It's hard to not want this argument to continue, isn't it?" Ambrosia laughed again, this time in a less controlled and looser fashion. She was truly enjoying this. Maybe this would infuriate Jade further, or maybe she would laugh to. If she did, well... the result would probably be a bit better than that if she didn't laugh and just got more angered. Either way, Ambrosia was fine with it. It had been a while since a situation had gone this well. The first time in months that she had an interesting run in with someone that had truly made her laugh.

(( i figured))
The elf clenched her fists. Why did Ambrosia insist on making her angry. "Listen i'm really trying to control my temper and you are making it extremely difficult. " Jade said angrily. The elf went over to pick up her book and held it tightly so that the red head couldn't blow it away again. "You should seriously get a better hobby then tormenting people." Her mind was racing everything inside her was urging her to do something to wipe the fake smile off the girls face for good. There had to be something she could do to pay that jerk back. Why did Hiowie have to go off and leave her like this. Was this his idea of some twisted test to see how well behaved she could be without him?
"Do you guys like each other?" Xander asked. He had been watching the scene curiously for a while. So far most people he saw fighting like this did it because they liked each other and it was like a game. This didn't really seem like one of those things though...but he could be wrong thats why he was asking. "Obviously if we are about to possibly kill each other we don't." Jade said rolling her eyes.

Ambrosia glared at Jade. "I do have a hobby. A quie peaceful one, really. But I have nothing else to o in my spare time away from that hobby, and most other things aren't that fun." It was an honest answer, which was the sad thing about it. She wasn't about to lie right to someone's face about something that didn't really matter, anyways. Although she could've done it, if needed.
When cute little Xander popped up and asked one of his cute little clueless questions, Ambrosia couldn't help but smile. She had a soft spot for small children. When Jade answered, Ambrosia felt the need to scowl at her. "He didn't say he wanted an honest answer. Can't you at least attempt to butter things up a bit for a little kid? And I wasn't about to kill her, anyways. If I had intended to I would've done it already. The same goes for her. She's perfectly capable of killing me, as are you." Ambrosia said this casually, shrugging when she was finished. She hoped Jade would continue to lose her page for various reasons in the future, just because that was the way it should be.

(( i don't know why but i found that post funny.))
Jade sighed. "Whatever...." The elf said when the girl commented on the hobby thing. When Xander came up she shrugged. "Sorry but i don't feel like lying to little kids. But your right i shouldn't have said it like that. No we aren't going to kill each other......but we most certainly don't like each other. Is that better?" The elf asked glaring at the other girl.
"Why don't you like each other? " Neither of them seemed like bad people. They got angry easily but they weren't bad. He just couldn't understand why they hated each other. Why did anyone hate people? Was it really impossible for everyone to get along? The boy wondered why.

The red head grinned like a fool. "I do like it when people agree with me, say that I'm right. Although I probably have no right to say that." Ambrosia looked at Xander, startled by his new question. Why didn't they like each other? "Um... we're too alike would probably be a decent answer. Otherwise..." She thought for a moment, rubbing the back of her head. "There probably isn't another real reason. Except for the fact that I'm a fire elemental and she has control over water." There really wasn' any reason to dislike Jade. It just kin of... happened. Neither one of them were easy to get along with, that was for sure. But that statement was beside the point. Xander seemed to get along well with everyone he met, unlike a lot of other people who naturally disliked others. Some people were easy to like, some were easy to hate. It was just the way the world worked.

Jade scowled at the girl when she went on about being right. "Don't get use to it. Consider it my way of protecting a child's innocence by not drawing this disagreement out longer." The elf looked at the boy. That was an interesting question. "I don't know about her. But the reason i don't like her is that she does mean things to me. I think that can be said for a lot of people. If people are mean to you then you will be mean back and then you just end up hating each other." The blond said shrugging it was anyones guess. There were a lot of questions that answers weren't easy to find for.
Xander nodded he suppose what they were saying made sense. He wasn't sure what to do now. He didn't want them to fight and he was worried that if he left they would just start fighting again. But it wasn't really nice to interfere with other people was it?

"I think her statement has a point, but it's only half true. Sometimes somethings happen accidentally that are considered as 'mean', like bumping into someone. Sometimes, if you do something horrible to someone, they won't do anything back. They are to kin-hearted to do that. So there are many different possiblities for every person who hates another." Ambrosia shrugged. She didn't nessecarily hate anyone, but there were a few who she was coming close to hating. She looked at Jade, then looked around. At least there weren't very many people here. Her eyes settled on something shiny over by a house. She watched it shimmer for a moment, then looked at Xander. "Well, I'm bored. Reasoning is boring. Can't we do something else?"

Jade played around with a ball of water while the girl talked this was getting kind of boring. Well arguing was boring and she wasn't about to do anything in front of Xander. "well I'm off. I got to finish this book." With that the elf left the boy and the crazy red head alone.
"So what do you want to do?" Xander asked not really sure what to think. He hadn't been alone with Ambrosia for a while. The hybrid looked around tying to see if there was anything interesting. Hopefully Ambrosia was going to stay in a good mood because the boy imagined being alone with her when she is angry wouldn't be very fun.

"I'm seriously tempted to burn that book..." Ambrosia shook her head. She was bieng rude today. Didn't know why. Maybe it was just because... it was one of those days. She looked at Xander and offered him a smile. "I don't know. Whatever sounds good to you. I'm up for anything, even cliff diving. Sounds fun. A rush of adrenaline would be nice right about now. Probably would be very comforting."
((Sorry it's short, Halloween party preparations and such))

(( no problem))
"um...i actually have no idea what i would want to do. " The hybrid admitted. Xander wasn't use to having nothing to do, usually he was busy with.... things. He studied Ambrosia trying to find out why she always seemed mad. Was the elf girl really that bad? Jade had a temper and was kind of mean sometimes but the boy didn't think she was all bad. Everyone had bad in them.....Thinking about this he wondered if it was possible that everyone had good in them too. But he decided that couldn't be because there were a few people he could think of that had absolutely no good things about them at all. Like that creepy demon Akuma and the queens.
"Maybe if she got a chance to read it she would be in a better mood. It seemed like she liked it a lot. Wouldn't you find it annoying to not be able to do something you like?" He was curious as to what the girls answer would be. Xander didn't really see the value of paper with scribbles he couldn't understand on it, but everyone had something they liked. And when you like doing something you should be able to do it without people bothering you. So he just didn't burning Jades scribble paper thing was a nice thing for Ambrosia to do.

"Just for the record, I did not start that. Not at all. I just gave it the fire it needed to grow. And yes, I would find that annoying. But in truth, I don't really have anything I like to do that I feel I need to do... except for maybe brushing my teeth. I guess I don't really understand something until I feel it for myself. You know what I mean?" Ambrosia raised her eyebrows and shrugged. She couldn't help doing what she did. It was who she was, and she didn't plan on changing that anytime soon. Not at all. Looking around, Ambrosia began to get an idea of something that might be worth doing. If only it would work, though. She'd have to wait to see what the circumstances were before she just decided to off and take Xander on some random little dangerous adventure out in the middle of nowhere. If he had parents, they probably wouldn't be happy about some of the things that could possibly go wrong while doing something like this.

"No, not really." The hybrid answered truthfully. Xander didn't understand even half the things people around him talked about. The boy looked at the ground and kicked at the rocks for something to do. He wasn't sure if he should just leave or not. Staying might annoy Ambrosia but the boy didn't really have anywhere to go or anything to do. So by default he was just going to stand there until someone told him to do otherwise. Thats usually how things worked.
