Races

Here at spectra, each race is affiliated with a color. This color will be your member group color. The royalty/leaders of each of the races is normally donned with the colors as listed below.

Primary colors:

Yellow, Angels
Blue, Merfolk

Secondary colors:

Orange, Demons
Purple, Sorcerers
Green, Elves

If you don't want any of these, simply specify the race you'd like and you'll be given a nice dark gray.

RED, HUMANKIND It is from humans that the other races seem to have came, though none are sure how exactly this happened. Whilst the other races were evolving, humankind continued to evolve on its own. Humans are a hardy race, known for their strength of heart and their masses of willpower that can be generated from something that is seemingly meaningless. Humans tend to have the most sturdy build of the races, making them fine combatants, though they are also the race that has the greatest amount of diversity. [break][break] Humankind primarily inhabits ______, though they are known to travel and many can fit in elsewhere. Most hybrid children are normally half-human, half-other race, as this race is the most compatible with the other races. These children are frequently born with strange abilities, and can have abnormal features. [break][break] Humans do NOT have abnormally colored hair or skin. [break]Humans do NOT exceed 7'0'' in height. [break]Humans do NOT have crazy amounts of strength.

BLUE, MERFOLK A kind race that resides primarily within the water, as their legs have evolved to turn into fish tails once they come in contact with water. Merfolk are able to breathe underwater, as they have developed gills (some always visible, some coming out once in contact with water). They are usually a slimmer, leaner race than humans. Few are bulky, few are very tall. [break][break] Merfolk are known for their peaceful, though somewhat seclusive, nature. They are not known to travel too far from water, but many are known to fall in love with an adventurous human. Their children are usually able to either breathe underwater or they possess a fin, though they rarely have both. [break][break] Merfolk CAN have unnatural hair and blue/green/teal skin. [break]Merfolk CANNOT exceed 6'5'' in height. [break]Merfolk CANNOT wield elements other than water.

YELLOW, angels Angels seem to be expert manipulators of the wind, but this is not actually the case. Though many are at ease with the wind behind their backs, the real reason they can get so high is because they have wings, only visible if they want them to be so. This races resides in the skies, having one well-established village. The others roam freely around the planet, though they must be wary of interactions; their wings are not visible, but they can be felt. Some individuals kill Angels to harvest their beautiful feathers. [break][break] It is incredibly hard for an Angel and a human to have children, but if it happens, the child usually has crippled (though extraordinarily beautiful) wings.[break][break] Angels CANNOT have abnormal skin colors. ORANGE, Demons This race has infrared vision and are renown for their ability to stalk their prey and take it down with hand-to-hand combat. Demons feed on various living organisms and are the largest threat to humanity's reign. Though this race is not inherently devious, many tend to exhibit this trait. This race comes in a variety of shapes and sizes, though these creatures usually have horns, scales, or some other strange markings. They are born and tend to reside under the volcano, bodies strangely adapted to the high heat. [break][break] It is incredibly difficult for a human and a demon to mate. If this feat is accomplished, that hybridized child is incredibly bloodthirsty and usually takes up the appearance of its human parent, with a few minor traits, such as small horns. [break][break] Demons CAN be any shape, size, or color. [break]Demons CANNOT wield light, earth, water, or air.

GREEN, Elves A race adjusted to the wooded climate in which they reside. Relatively peaceful, vain, and snooty. At ease with nature and all of its components. Expert trackers with hearing better than all other races. Visually similar to humans, though many despise them. Genetically superior when it comes to agility and wits, at least, in most cases. This race enjoys traveling, though not usually to human settlements. Most reside within _____, but it is possible to find them elsewhere. [break][break] Humans and Elves mix easily. Their children are graceful creatures. They usually have an earth-based ability. They exceed physically. [break][break] Elves CAN have hair of any color. [break]Elves CANNOT have abnormally colored skin. [break]Elves CANNOT wield the element of fire.

PURPLE, sorcerers Sorcerers are usually physically frail, with wide eyes and pale skin. This closeted race lives in fear of the other races, as they have the ability to do extraordinary things with their mind. Though they are smaller than the other races, both in build and stature, the feats they can accomplish make them worthy adversaries. They seem to be gentle, but this is not always the case. These people primarily reside within a cavernous society, hidden away from the rest of the world. [break][break] Humans are easily able to breed with the Sorcerers, provided one accepts them. Their children are usually blessed both physically and mentally, though their abilities are usually always mental. [break][break] Foglifters CANNOT exceed 6'0'' in height. [break]Foglifters CANNOT be extremely muscular.  [break]Foglifters CAN have gray/lightly tinted skin. [break]Foglifters CAN have abnormally colored hair.
