Life is Good

Alea studyied the fire in silence for a while. She sighed and closed her eyes. She was quite tired from the long day.

Armageddon sighed. "I wish everyone's sighs turned into flowers." He looked at the fire, wondering about what sighs could and should turn into. That would be nice, to have your sighs turn into something like that. He looked around impateitntly before looking back to Alea. Huh. What should he do? Play along with it? If there was a comfortable silence then that meant that the two would be able to stand each other.

Alea smiled, her eyes still closed. "Then there would be flowers everywhere." She yawned.

"Hopefully they would be pretty blue ones. The blue and purple ones are my favorites." Armageddon lay back, eye open, hands tucked behind his head. He didn't know what to do. Looking over at the blonde, he decided to say something. "This is going to be personal, and you on't have to answer if you don't want to, but I was wondering if you kinda sorta maybe liked me."

Alea's face turned red. "Oh, um... well..." She cleared her throat not expecting this. "I... well..." She took a deep breath. "Yes. There, I said it. Happy?" She looked away not wanting to look at him. What now? Would he think that she was a creep? Why did he want to know anyway?

Armageddon smiled. "There is no need to be embarassed or ashamed. Because I like you too." Finally, he had grown enough balls to admit his feelings. Sighing lightly, he stared at the fire. It was nice in here. A rumble of thunder sounded, along with a great flash of light. Joy. A thunderstorm. What a romantic occurence, right? Wrong.

Alea kept blushing. "You... do?" Just then the thunder grummbled in the sky making her jump. She gasped in shock.

Armageddon couldn't help but laugh. She was so darn cute! Grinning to himself, he shook his head. Was she really that oblivious? Honestly? Smilling at the mere chikdhood innocence, his grin broadened. "You know what I like to do during a thunder storm? Take a nap." Armageddon lay back on the floor, arms tucked behind his head, and closed his eyes. Of course, he wasn't sleeping, but there was no harm in attepmting to fake it.

Alea rolled her eyes. Did he honestely think he could fool her? She desided to play along with it. She sighed a fake sigh. "Oh, no. whatever shall I do now? Armageddon is asleep and I have nothing to do."

Armageddon held in a laugh. Of course, she didn't believe it. This was the perfect time to act as innocent as possible. "Oh mommy. I miss you so much. You wouldn't never know how much I've missed you." Seizing the oppurtunity, he curled up into a little ball and got closer to Alea. Wrapping his hands around her waist, he snuggled into her like a small child might his mother. This was rather enjoyable. "Oh, mommy. Never leave me again. You could never know how much it hurts me for you to be gone." This was in incognito way of expressing his feelings, and he loved it. Perhaps she would play along even more and do the same thing?

Alea looked at him like he was insain. Well, maybe he was.... She crossed her arms, shook her head and smiled. "I'm still not buying it you know. You're a terrible actor."

"I don't care. I'm cold, your warm, and you're letting me do this, so... who needs acting abilities?" Armageddon grinned to himself, trying to make it as unnoticable as possible. He was surprised she hadn't shoved him off of her yet. It seemed like a fair thing to do. Then again, he wouldn't like it. But he would probably understand. It was strange, though, that he was actually snuggling to someone. It gave him the creeps, but it was a wee bit comfortable.

Alea rolled her eyes. "How can you be cold when there's a fire going right in front of us?" She normaly would have shoved him away, but something made her hold back. Why? She had no idea.

Dammit. She was too observant... either that or she simply was too smart for that stupid little tactic. At least she hadn't thrown him off and left. It was nice. "I don't know why I'm cold. Perhaps it's because I'm... lonely." He absolutely HAD to throw in that comment. The urge was irresistable. Sure, he had been taught not to give in to temptation, but he couldn't help it. That was just perfect, and it fit there perfectly. Armageddon sighed. "I'll get off if you would like me too." He was always willing to be a decect person, no matter what.

Alea sighed. "We all know that you don't want to get off, though. And if you're lonely, I guess that means that i'm a nobody."

Armageddon got off and looked at Alea, that kind of hard, emotionlless stare. "I'm only lonely when no one is around. You misunderstood that comment." He truly didn't feel alone when she was around. Apparantly he needed to watch the way he worded things. Either that or... well, perhaps he should just shut up. "And I assure you, you are a somebody."
