Alea took a deep breath and relaxed. She was laying on her back, hands behind her head, looking at the sky. Life these was quiet, peaceful. Alea was glad of it too. She wished it was always like this, but of course that was never going to happen. About five minutes later, there was a rustle a little distance further in the woods. She sat up bow and arrows ready to fire.

Armageddon had been wandering around quite aimlessly, wanting to get away from his sister. He didn't understand how he could stand her for as long as he had. That girl really needed to take a chill-pill once in a while. After debating on where to go, Armageddon had decided that it sounded like a good time to go for a stroll through the woods. The pixies wouldn't be any harm to him and anyways, what could it hurt?
Smiling to himself Armageddon entered the woods quietly, making sure not to cause a fuss. It was better if he could roam around unnoticed, better if he could hide away. Alone time was nice, a time for him to break away an think about things. Approaching the center of the forest Armageddon tripped over an above ground tree root, cursing quietly as he fell. "The next time I do that I'll end up dieing." Standing, the boy began to brush himself off, his blue pants covered in dirt.
This was the last time he wasn't going to follow the path. Sighing, the boy turned and stared, seeing a familiar figure sitting on the ground, bow with an arrow knocked in her hand. Armageddon's eyes grew wider and his jaw dropped slightly, wondering whether or not to speak or to act and send a little ball of water at her. Deciding to speak, Armageddon did this quickly and quietly. "Hello, Alea." His voice nearly cracked as he said this, the words threatening not to leave his mouth at first. Why did this always happen?

Alea sighed when she heard the voice. She lowered her bow. "Hello Armageddon. Sorry about that." She laid back down again setting her bow next to her. "My life has been so quiet lately, its like im just waiting for someone or something to try to kill me." She continued to look at the sky. "So what are you doing out here anyway?"

Armageddon remembered to breathe as Alea lowered her bow, his blue eyes dulling down a notch. Not knowing what to do, the elemental stood there like an idiot. Without telling them to, his legs carried him over to sit by the girl. Realizing what he had done, the boy accepted the fact and leaned against a tree. Listening to her talk, Armageddon listened without a sound. As she asked him a question, he thought about the answer.
"My life is always eventful when I hang around Ambrosia. It's pretty much dodging bullets all day long. That is a part of the reason I am out here, another is the fact that I was bored and I needed some fresh air." Armageddon said this quietly, thinking of something to keep him occupied. Pulling out his pocket knife, the boy snatched up a stick and began to whittle. Perhaps he could make it sharp enough to poke Ambrosia with?

Alea just laid there too bored to really start a conversation. well, she had to try. "So... how has your live been?" Normally, Alea would be more lively but today was an exeption. She picked up her bow loaded it and shot at the tree above her. it reflected off it and landed two inches away from her. Just as she planed.

Armageddon had gotten a point started on the stick, watching the arrow to be sure it wasn't coming for him. It was best to be alert, as he'd learned from previous experiences. "My life has been quite boring lately. Ambrosia is the only thing keeping me occupied; constantly getting into trouble or driving me crazy." Smiling at the thought of his sister flipping out because he was gone, Armageddon went back to carving the stick. "Isn't the forest lovely? It's the perfect place to come to relax after a hectic day." This was said to encourage conversation. The boy would like to get to know more about the blonde elf.

Alea smiled remembering Ambrosia. She was spunky, that one. "Yea, I've basecly lived in the forest all my life sence my parents died. Alea sighed. It had been a hard life without her parents. "But there's no need to dwell on the past I guess." To be honest, Alea actually has wanted to have someone to talk to about it. But she promised herself she wouldn't ever admit it. But mabye Armageddon was diffrent. Mabye she could trust him.

Armageddon continued to whittle whilst listening to Alea speak. She had a calming voice, that was for sure. It was nice to have someone to talk to, to confide in. "It's a horrible thing, the death of your parents. Mine were killed during the war, so I still had them while growing up. So I guess I got lucky. How did your parents die?" Aramgeddon had a reputation for being trustworthy and quiet, upheld normally by threats and promises.

"Mine were killed in a war too. But I was young." Alea smiled sadly. "I remembered wanting to go with them. to be in my first war. But, of corse, they said no. I didnt understand back then, but this was no small war." Alea sighed. "And that was the last time we were a somewhat normal family. I decided to follow them anyway. when I caught up to them, they were already fighting. At first I thought it was cool... untill i saw the worst thing a six year old could see. I saw both my parents die right before my eyes." Alea rolled over so she wasnt faceing Armageddon. No way was she going to let him see the tears staring to roll slowly down her cheaks.

Armageddon began to get concerned as Alea rolled over, wondering why she did such a thing. Perhaps talking about her parents had brought on the water-works? Checking to see, Armageddon's idea was confirmed as he brought Alea's tears from her cheeks to the palm of his hand. "Death is... cold and unwelcoming. Ask any Necromancer. I feel for you, I really do. I just wish you wouldn't cry." Armageddon had taken on the older brother role again, sympathy and compassion evident in his voice.

Alea sat up. "I'm sorry." She sniffled. "Its just that its hard to talk about. But im glad to finally have someone to talk about this to."
Alea brushed her hair out of face but it just fell back to were it was. So, she gave up on it.

Armageddon forced a small smile on his face, trying to cheer her up a little. He couldn't find any words, so actions would have to do. Words were useless. The smile was half-hearted, but a warm and caring offer. There really wasn't anything his mind would let him do. This was forbidden by his father, welcomed by his mother, both were dead. Ambrosia was okay with anything and everything as long as it didn't involve her. Did he really want to be like ambrosia and end up with a broken heart? Heck, this relationship with Alea wasn't going to escalate into something like that, was it?
So many questions, so many thoughts, none really doing anything for him. There were no answers to the questions he wanted so badly to ask.

Alea had no idea were this conversation was going. Besides, she wasnt one to talk a lot. There was so much of her life that was hidden from people, from her friends. She wantede so badly to just let go. To talk to Armageddon about her life and secrets. To finally be understood and not the weird myserious elf girl. Alea pulled her arrow out of the ground and put it back in its holder.

This is an awkward silence. I wonder what is going to happen? Why must there be so many questions? A few I could handle but when they start coming on like this... Should I say something? To break the silence? There I go again, thinking. Perhaps I should break out in song? Doubt that, I'm an introvert and I'm not spontaneous. Armageddon was thinking these things whilst continuing his whittling.
"I'd share some things with you about my past but I'm forbidden to speak of them. Who has forbidden me I cannot say, but I would like to hear about you. If it makes you feel better, I'll listen to everything. I don't talk much so your secrets will be safe with me." Armageddon had no idea where those words had came from, but he wasn't go to ask himself that question. There were too many questions. They were rather annoying, too.

Alea almost sighed in relief but caught herself before she actualy did. "Well, I dont really know were to start. Its been so long and, well...... oh, i dont know." Alea silently scolded herself for talking like an idiot. Why was it so hard to talk about her past to Armageddon? Before she could stop herself, she smacked her hand against her forehead and regreted it instantly.

Armageddon's smile dissapeared and turned into a full-fledged grin, shaking his head and laughing lightly at Alea. "I hope you don't do that too often. It kills brain cells. " The boy looked back to the stick, to the girl, and to his feet. Brushing his bue hair out of his eyes the optics went to a darker blue.
