Life is Good

Alea gave a mischevious grin. "Well...." She begain slowly. "At first I stoped to look at some windchimes, then, well, I lost sight of you. After that, I tried to find some adventure but there wasnt anything to do. Then, I found you."

Armageddon raised an eyebrow, still panting. Man was he outta shape. "So what makes you so hyper?" The boy was beginning to wonder if he was going to have to go off and search for adventure around some random cove or something. He wasn't really one for adventure but he could handle it if he had to. Hanging out with Alea all day wouldn't really be a bad thing, either. Armageddon created a little ball of water and threw it in his own face. It was refreshing, in a way.

Alea could hardly stay still. "To tell you the truth, I have no idea..... So what are we going to do now?"

Armageddon thought of something to do for a moment, before deciding that it would be nice to take a nap. KNowing somewhere, in the back of his mind, that Alea wouldn't settle for taking a nap. Thinking again, he looked up at the blonde, and asked her a question. "Have you ever ridden on a cloud? Have you ever been to the Nocturne Falls?" That would be interesting. Sure, she had been to his house before, but that wasn't all that close to the falls.

Alea's face lit up. "Nocturne falls? I've heard of it, but i've never actually gone there. Why do you ask?"

"Something to do." Armageddon grinned and stood up, walking over to a little clearing. Taking some water and fusing it with a little wind, he soon had a miniature cloud in front of him. "Would you care to go for a ride with me? To the falls?" The boy grinned and jumped onto the cloud, summoning his scythe and laying across his lap. He always had loved cloud travel. It was so... fun. And convinient.

Alea's smile got bigger. "Sure! I've always wondered what it would be like to ride on a clowd." She jumped on to the cloud. "Are you sure this is safe?"

Armageddon grinned and nodded. "If it wasn't safe would I be doing it?" With a bright smile he began to let the wind rise and take the cloud with it. It would be fine to move slowly and steadily, especially with the natural wind's interference. This would take a little concentration, but that wasn't anything that he couldn't do. He had plenty of experience with riding on clouds. After all, he'd been doing it for how long?

Alea pondered his question. "Well, you might." She was begening to reconsider but when the cloud started to rise, that thought was swept away. After a few moments, Alea gathered enough courage and looked over the edge of the cloud at the small world under her.
"This is amazing! Do you do this every day?"

Armageddon grinned and made the cloud do a little twirl in the air. "Not everyday. About every other day. If I did it everyday it wouldn't be as exciting." The boy looked behind him and smiled at Alea, a bird almost hitting his head. turning around he lowered the cloud slightly, hoping to stay out of any other birds' paths. The better thing would be getting pooped on rather than smoked in the face.

Alea chuckled when the bird almost hit him. "Awww." She commented when he flew lower. "You should make it fly higher! That way, maybe next time, you would get hit. I would love to se that happen." She tried to say it with a straight face, but a smile kept tugging at the corner of her mouth.

"Yes, but that may hurt a little depending on the velocity of that bird and how fast we are going. But it would be funny if it knocked both of us right off the-" As he was saying this, a large bird, presumably a vulture, smashed into him, knocking him back into Alea and pushing the both of them off the cloud. "Dang birds!" The cloud diminished and fell to the earth. Armageddon spun around in the air and grabbed Alea by the shirt, making an updraft. Yanking a stray strand of his shirt, a makeshift parachute was made. It was a sacrifice he was willing to make; getting cold in order to save two lives. With a bare chest, he tried to slow them even furthur as they free fell toward the ground.

Alea gasped as they fell. She had no idea what to do, so she just held tight to Armageddon hoping that she wouldn't fall. She closed her eyes tight not wanting to look at the ground that was comming closer every second.

Armageddon manipulated the air so that the two's postion flipped, right before hitting the ground. He wasn't able to multitask all that well but had managed to get a slight ball of atwer beneath him to break the fall a little. Gasping for a little more air, he exhaled quickly and lay flat on the ground, heart visibly beating in his chest. "That... was... exhilarating." It was at this moment when Armageddon had realized that he had saved someone's life and that his abs would actually be seen by someone other than himself. Interesting how things played out.

Alea was out of breath herself. She couldn't help giggle. "Yea... since when do you have abs?" She put a hand over her mouth, stopping herself. "Oh, I'm so sorry. That kind of slipped out.... But seioriusly, when?"

Armageddon chuckled, shaking his head. "I've had them for a while now. Normally I don't just spontaneously rip open my shirt and reveal them." The boy grinned and his blue eyes gleamed in little light. "When I show more skin than needed I feel exposed." The boy didn't know what it was, but something about Alea made him want to talk and be a little more open. To a little part of his mind, that wasn't a good thing.
