Go Boom? (Open)

Lucien had been wandering around, having nothing to do lately. He hadn't ran into the werewolf twins for a while, nor anyone else all that interesting. It was a few days ago when he met a lowly pirate that he finally figured out why people got into that career path. Captain Jack Sparrow had some wonderful ideas of what to do with some of the explosive things Lucien had created, appropriatley called 'Fireworks'. Lucien's favorites were the rapid firing 'Roman Candles'. That was what the Magician had called them, so that was what Lucien had written on the label. Sure he knew that it wasn't right to play with fire, but he wanted to do it anyways.

So, Jack and Lucien were setting up a bunch of the explosives in the middle of a night with a full moon. Jack had a Dragon Rider who he had recruited and who was going to bring on the flame they needed. That was much simpler than using a torch. As the blonde arrived, they had everyone looking all over the place for her dragon. In a few minutes, the drunk pirate and the prince had figured out where the dragon was hiding. The beast could polymorph; turn into things other than dragons. With a grin, they lined up the Roman Candles and watched as the bot breath spewed from the dragon. With a smile, Lucien let out joyous laughter as the Roman Candles started shooting large balls of blue and pink sparks into the air.

On one side of the ocean Xander was watching the stars and noticed the strange fire balls. At first he was scared because he thought the sky was burning and that the world was ending. But when nothing happened he relaxed. It was pretty what ever it was. He decided to go and find the source. It wasn't long before he found Lucien and some other people he never met before. Keeping his distance he watched them, not wanting to bother them but to curious to leave.

"I vote we try the more powerful ones! Those ones'll really light up the sky!" Lucien grabbed a few of the other, more powerful fireworks, and planted them in the ground. "I overdosed the powder in these ones, so I think that we may want to take a few extra steps back." Jack grinned and began drinking a little more rum. Keykku smiled lightly and patted Finn on the back. For some reason, the dragon seemed to be enjoying herself.

Lucien took a few steps back, before seeing another jet of fire. Turning around he ran back farther a little ways, before turning and looking up into teh sky. As the explosion occured all he could do was watch as the thing exploded into the air, hissing and crackling. This one was really multicollored, and was accompanied by a loud bang. that would wake some people up. "Dude! That was friggin' awesome! Hey, Jack Sparrow. I wanna try some of that rum!" The pirate glared at the girl for a moment.

"That's Captain Jack Sparrow, lass. Savvy?"

Xander stared at the sky and then back at the others. How were they doing it? He wondered. It was really loud, if anyone around the area was sleeping they sure weren't now. Taking a risk he decided to get closer, wanting to find out what they were doing.

Jack handed the girl a smaller bottle of rum than his own and sat down. It sounded like gun shots, only these people were adding color to it. Did they even have guns here? He'd never saw anyone running around with a gun, at least. Perhaps it would be best if he didn't use his pistoll anytime soon. Were they even using gun powder? Or was it some other explosive? Stupid questions.

Lucien turned around and tilted his head to the side. Was that... holy cow monkeys! That was Xander. "Come to join the party?" Lucien raised both brows and stared at the kid. Apparently the noise had attracted him. Perhaps it would be fun to break out the rockets, now. It looked like they had an observer.

Keykku took the rum and swished it around in the bottle. "Finn, do you think that I should..." The blonde popped off the top of the bottle and took a tiny drink. Spitting it out, she looked at the pirate. "That stuff is DISGUSTING! How do you drink it?"

Jack looked at the girl and smiled. "It tastes better after a few drinks."

"uh..ok" Xander said meekly. He probably should have turned into an animal or something before he got closer. It was to hard to think with all this noise. He came closer and noticed the pirate first. He never seen anyone like him before, the guy looked creepy. The girl and her dragon didn't seem so bad though, but they were more of the kind of think he expected to see around. When he got closer he could see that all the noise and light were coming from those strange things they had with them.

Lucien studied the kid. Xander probably thought that he was going to get killed by him or something of the sort. Not today, though, because Lucien was in a good enough mood to try and avoid violence. For a little while, at least. A bright smile remained on his face as he walked up and snatched up a vase, one that would hold flowers. Grabbing another one he handed the smaller of the two to Xander. "You aren't scared of fire, are you?"

Finn had shifted back into her human form, walking over to Jack. "Are you nuts? I'm sorry, but you don't give her alcohol." Smacking the pirate on the face she turned and walked over to Keykku. "Fork. Over. The. Rum." The blonde obeyed and gave the human looking dragon the bottle. Finn tipped the thing upside down and dumped the liquid all on the ground. Jack's eyes grew wide.

"Woman! You're wasting perfectly good rum!" Jack stared at the girl like she was crazy. Normally he would've done something more spontaneous, but he was too sober for that right now. Walking over to the stash of the whistling rockets, he placed one in both Lucien's and the boy's vase. Now all they needed was something to light it.

(( bonding time. ))

"no" Xander answered when asked if he was afraid of fire. He held on to the vase as the pirate put the strange objects into it. "what are these things?" He asked curiously. The pirates breath smelled really bad, it probably had something to do with that liquid the dragon girl was dumping on the ground.

((Pretty much. ))

"These things are fun. I call them 'Vase Rockets'. Light 'em up, Finn." Lucien grinned at the dark haired girl, who came over quietly. She shifted into a fairy dragon and flew into the air. Blowing a little puff of fire onto each of the fuses, she flew away quickly. "In a few seconds, these little suckers will leave the vase and fly into the air. If you get a spark on you just brush it off." Lucien watched as his rocket took off, whistling through the air and ending in a loud bang. It worked out perfectly.

Keykku clapped as it exploded. This was very interesting. How she was managing to stay around two very strange men, she didn't know, but at least Finn was having fun. That was always a good sign. The girl's sense of curiousity, however, was consumed with that pirate. Howstrange it was to see someone like him. That didn't happen all the time. But she did want to get her pale little hands on some of that 'Rum' and see if it actually did taste better after a few drinks.

Finn loved the explosions, the clever use of fire. Somehow that adorable little kid had gotten dragged into it, too. Apparently the one called Lucien had known him. One would think that such a child would be at home, sleeping. Apparently that poor child was an orphan or something of the sort.

Xanders eyes lit up in wonder as the 'rockets' flew up into the air. They were so bright and colorful. "is there more?" He asked smiling. He hoped there was, he could watch them all night. They were really neat whatever they were. Xander watched the pirate and the girl wondering what brought them here. He was glade Lucien didn't seem to be angry. The last few times they met were not on very good cercumstances.

Lucien looked to the boy, wondering why he wanted to see more of them. The prince was just surprised that they had worked. "I do believe I brought a few more." Lucien searched the ground, finally finding a few of the bright colored explosives. "Found them. One at a time, with these ones. These suckers have multiple shots in them." The prince sat the first tube on the ground and looked to the 'lighting crew'. The dragon had curled up into a ball and fell asleep, the girl laying beside the dragon. Looking to Jack, Lucien grinned.

Jack drew his pistol and shot the fuse. The fuse ignited. Lucien and the pirate both took a few extra steps back. As the cannon shot into the air, and array of bright, dazzling colors took place in the sky. "What color would you like next?" This was probably going to be a decent night, as long as no fights would take place.

Xander smiled as the lights lit up the sky. Whatever these things were they were amazing. Xander shrugged when Lucien asked what color he wanted. He didn't care they were all nice. Looking at the pirate he wondered what the thing was the man just used to light the fuse. "whats that?" He decided to ask about it. It couldn't hurt, right?

Jack answered the question the boy asked with a grin. "That is a device called a pistol." Looks like these people didn't know what guns were, after all. How strange. His one shot had just been wasted, but he figured that he could use something else to make a new shot, in a sense.

Lucien went over and sorted through his pile of fireworks. He picked out some of the quieter, more colorful cannons and sat them on the ground. They needed something to light the fuse with, now. "Xander, can you turn into a dragon?" Perhaps this idea would work. If it didn't, then they would have to find a torch or something of the sort. Too bad the two girls had to go and fall asleep. The blonde was quite the creative thinker. Annyoing, though.

Xander nodded when Jack explained what the device was. He wondered what it was for but didn't want to keep pestering the stranger about it. To Lucien's question he nodded and transformed into a fire breathing dragon. He blew fire on the 'fireworks' and watched them blast into the sky.

Out of no where Jade stormed over and blasting the group with water. A look of anger mixed with fear on her face. "You jerks! People are trying to sleep here! And whats with the fire, are you trying to kill us!" Earlier back at her camp she was awoken by the loud noise. Since she was afraid of fire though she didn't dare come check it out herself and got Hiowie to. When she found out it was Lucien and a bunch of other people pranking she decided to come and do something about it. Nobody scared her and got away with it.

Hiowie laughed at the girl. Take it easy, they had no way of knowing your were frightened. They were just having fun, and beside i thought it was rather pretty.

"Sure, it always looks nice. But fire can easily get out of hand." She retorted back.

Xander surprised by the elf's appearance and being soaked with water returned to human form. He stared at the elf not sure how to react, she was scary. And she didn't look happy at all, meaning things could get really bad really fast.

Keykku jumped up, a bit alarmed at the water. "What the heck?!? Finn! Start wearing a diaper or something. Jeez." The dragon sat up abruptly and shifted back into her true form. Finn stared at Keykku for a moment before looking at the elf. istening to her questions, the dragon figured that the elf disliked fire. That may be fun to play around with... some other time. Shifting into a human, Finn sighed and plopped down on the ground, her clothes now dry. "I assure you, Keykku, that I wouldn't pee myself. That would be your job, and I'd hate to steal your thunder, so to speak."

As the water came on, Jack looked around trying to find it's source. As he spotted the girl, he grinned. "A little fiesty, are we?"

Just to make Jade mad, Lucien walked over to his pile, grabbed one of the huge cannons, slammed two rocks together, and lit the fuse. "It's funny how you seem to be the only one with a problem with my pretty works of fire." Lucien put his hands on his hips and slapped on a game face. "I think we had it perfectly controlled. You just worry too much." As the explosion occured, the prince watched the bright ball of fire take to the air. This one had every color of the rainbow, the prettiest yet.

Jade put the fire ball out with another blast of water. She was getting more irritated my the minute. The jerks had no sense of decency and were using her fear to get to her. "Just wait till i find out what your afraid of." she spat icily at Lucien. Somehow she would get them back. The ocean was near so there would be plenty of water for her to use. Too bad there weren't any forks or teapots. That girl Cyclypso seemed to have the right idea on how to deal with annoying people.

Xander watched as Lucien purposely make a huge fire ball to get on the elves nerves. He thought it was rather mean for someone to exploit someones fears like that. sure the elf was kind of mean but she did have somewhat of a point. How would any of them feel having their greatest fears used to manipulate them? " It's nice and all. But i think we should stop." He said in a quiet voice. Afraid of upsetting the group.
