Go Boom? (Open)

"I heard that. And if you asked me, which clearly you didn't, no one around here is very civilized according to my standards." Lucien raised an eyebrow, not caring if this wasn't the ideal time to try and argue with the elf. He really did not mind if that lady sicked her dead puppet on him. He wasn't afraid of it at all, thinking of it mainly as just a Dead soul that needs to be freed. Astareal hadn't responded to the civilized questiong yet, which frightened him a little. That woman was enough to give anyone the chills.

Astareal stared at that boy, an emotionless facial expression revealing nothing; the exact way she felt. It was extremely boring around here at this time, but when her Hand returned a joyful smile graced her features. "So you've returned, friend. Now, i must say, that boy over there is rather annoying." With that, the Hand advanced toward Lucien, walking forward like some sort of a dead warrior or something. She did enjoy messing around with people, but it wasn't like she was going to kill him or anything.

"oh and you think someone like you who hangs around with drunk pirates or by them selves would know anything about being civilized. And just what kind of standards could you possibly have.....imagaginary ones by the sounds of it." Jade retorted. In her opinion civilized was just a word. It only meant what people wanted it to mean. Different words mean different things to certain people. No matter how anyone looked at something, someone else would see it a different way. So everything came down to perspective. Thats partly why the elf didn't pester Astareal about what the lady decided to do. Although she didn't like the idea of dead people being treated that way and thought the girl was creepy.

Hiowie had gotten bored a long time ago with the two arguing. He didn't say anything but just followed and listened. He thought they were both being stupid. Alright children i think thats enough. Honestly Jade i thought you were smarter then this. If this lady wanted to she could have killed you both while you two wasted your time arguing. He said in a stern and bored tone. The wolf stood by Jade and watched the sorcerer cautiously.

"My standards are set too high so that no one, even myself, qualifies to be civilized." Seeing the creature approaching him, he took a step back and rammed his head into the cliff. Instinctivley, he high-tailed it (ran) over to Jade. The last thing he had wanted was to be ate alive by a dead thing. That would be just plain wrong and would ruin the natural order of things. It would disrupt the natural flow. It would screw a few people's lives up, if that mattered.

As the boy ran away, Astareal drew Kibeth and rang it loudly. The Dead Hand disappeared and the girl began to walk away, heading the way she had come from. Those people were boring. Perhaps Yrael or someone else would keep them entertained. With that thought, she wondered what had happened to that little boy... Xander, was it? With that thought, she smiled and disappeared into the distance.

Jade watched as the lady left and shook her head. She wasn't all that sure what had just happened. "well i'm going before anymore of those things show up. You can stay here if you and maybe tell them all about being civilized." She said as she began to walk away. She paused for a moment and added. "Try not to make anymore noise or strange fire things. " Then she kept walking with Hiowie padding along beside her.

Lucien put on a grumpy face. Why did he always end up being alone? And he wasn't going to promise ANYTHING; if he wanted things to go boom they would go boom. It always had been and always would be fun to make Jade angry. That would probably never age. She was just too fun to pick on; the way she reacted to things. With a grin, Lucien turned around and waded into the ocean, the salty water burning his cut. Anything for a little fun time.
