Go Boom? (Open)

"Ever since I got bit in the ass by a fish, literally, I've been a fish magnet. I don't know what attracts them. Stupid creatures." Lucien looked at his leg and touched the cut gingerly. The blood was really pouring out of it. Stupid wounds. Sighing, he ripped a strip of cloth off his overshirt and tied it around the wound, not caring if the clothing was a little soiled. It was better than bleeding to death. He was now out of the water, and far away from those fish. "I don't see how you can care that much about evil little things that bite people.... evverywhere." Lucien rubbed his butt where the scar was from fish number one. That was the main reason why he hated fish.

Jade chuckled at Lucien's comment. "It's better then what people do to each other and animals. Most of the times animals only attack when they have a reason. " Jade shrugged "Sometimes the reason just isn't clear or it just doesn't make sense to us." She said trying to explain. However, even though she could talk to animals there were still a lot of things she didn't know about them.

"I can see your point in that, I guess. It's probably just instincts or something. Which would make them a bit more relatable." With a faint smile, Lucien began to pick at the newly made cut. Hopefully no other animal with a blood lust would come around, like a vampire or something. That would really stink. Lucien didn't feel like being devoured right now. Nor did he really even want to lay eyes on another vampire after what had happened last week.

"Were those fireworks actually that loud? I thought that they were loud, but not really that loud. Hopefully they didn't disturb many others. Sorry. I just felt like babbling on." Truthfully, Lucien felt a little bad about shoting off the fireworks now. Perhaps it was just because guilt liked to be mean to him, but there was probably something else, too.

To Lucien's comment about the fire works she said " I'm surprised they didn't wake up the nearby town." Somehow this seemed to as close to an apology as she would get. "So besides trying to wake up the neighborhood, what brought you here?" Jade asked smiling slightly. The last time she met up with this guy he had a reason for being where he was, he didn't seem the type to go somewhere for no reason.

What brought him here? Lucien thought about that question for a moment. He didn't know what had brought him here. Perhaps it was because he was bored. Normally he just sat around, slept, ate, occasionally going to an inn and having a little fun. He liked being a hermit. Not really having a good answer, he decided to wait another moment. Finally, he sighed, and spoke once again. "I guess it was because I was bored. I really don't know."

A sudden crash came from across the area, something in the trees. "I'm not sure that I want to know what that is/was." Keeping his eyes focused on the trees, he wished that the cut that stupid fish had given him would stop bleeding. The scent, or something of the sort, was probably luring whatever it was over to him and Jade.

Jade was about to suggest that Lucien go and find a healer before he bled to death. However, she was interrupted by the noise. She looked at Lucien and sighed. This guy couldn't go anywhere without attracting someone/something. And unfortunately so far, it was never nice. "Apparently fish aren't the only things attracted to you. Are you sure your not some kind of living food? Because everything seems to want to eat you, or at lest kill you."

Lucien raised an eyebrow. "Technically, everything is living food. Pretty much everything is edible to something that is alive. I just fail to understand why something would want to eat me. I can't taste good." Lucien shrugged and looked toward the trees, trying to figure out what it was. Taking a few steps toward the prince looked around and tried to find what made the noise. Getting nothing, as he turned around, something tapped him on the shoulder. Spinning quickly, he came face to face with something that seemed to be the living dead. Taking a quick step back, he stared at the creature. "Shouldn't you be in the ground somewhere?"

Jade rolled her eyes when Lucien made his speech about how everything was edible. When she saw the undead creature she thought it looked more gross then scary. "Well there is something you don't see every day. It probably came here to eat your brain. So i guess it came all this way for nothing." Jade said watching the creature. She wondered if she should attack it or just wait to see what it did.

"I have brain. If I didn't have a brain, I'd be dead, genius." Lucien said this seriously, backing away from the creature. As it lunged for him, he spun around and took off running. Realizing that he was still a human, he shifted and ran faster. Making it all the way to the cliff face, he looked around wildly. "If you weren't meant to be dead, you would still be alive." Lucien said this to the dead thing, walking toward it slowly. It couldn't be that strong...

Astareal burst out of the trees, looking around. Noticing two people, she shook her head. They didn't seem that bad, but it was hungry... snatching up Saraneth she rang the bell loudly, the dead creature stopping where it was. It wasn't often she took pity, but she didn't want this one to be destroyed. The stupid thing should've know better than to go after a vampire and an elf. Humans were the Dead's main food source.

As the bell sounded, Lucien looked around. Spotting who it had come from, he slapped on his mean face. "What buisness do you have, bringing back the dead? If they weren't meant to be dead, they would still be alive! Who are you, to use such dark arts?" Lucien placed his hands on his hips and glared at the girl. Deep down, though, he hoped she wouldn't sick the thing back on him. He hadn't fought a dead thing, before.

Jade laughed at Lucien's comment. She watched the creature chase Lucien around. She was about to do something when she heard the bell sound. She turned around to see a dark haired women emerging from the trees. Who ever the lady was she seemed to be able to control the dead. Interesting, but kind of creepy.

"I suggest you hush, else I'll let him free." Astareal stared at the boy, her face as emotionless as ever. Her mood had bee changed slightly by that tone, but should go back to normal soon. It was rather funny how she was controlled by her surroundings, to some. While to her, it was horrible to be ran by something else. Never once did the brunette stop to consider how the Dead felt being used by Necromancers.

Lucien eyed the girl carefully, biting his tongue. This wouldn't be the first time his big mouth had nearly gotten him killed. Looking to Jade momentarily, he wondered if she was going to say something. A little part of the prince hoped that that dead thing would be allergic to vampires, werewolves, and elves, but somehow he managed to doubt that thought. Maybe it was just the scent of blood upon him that drew in the creature. Heck, he didn't know.

"So whats with the dead thing?" Jade asked curiously. Although she wondered if she really wanted to know. She thought Lucien had a point about the dead being left dead. However seeing how the woman reacted to the comment she figured it would be best not to press the thought further. The elf thought that it the woman was kind of pretty, but she looked like she was nearly dead herself.

Astareal glared at the new speaker, not really knowing how to answer that. "That Dead thing is my friend. I bring it back, it stays with me through the night, it leaves and goes wherever. This is my occupation." Instead of reacting in more of a rude, shocking way as she had the first time, she had camed herself a little. She didn't like that boy, though. The girl would probably be fine as long as she didn't go getting all snotty and rude like the boy had. Stupid children. The Hand walked back to it's newfound master, protesting bones squealing. Waving her hand, the creature walked away, probably trying to find something else to lunch on.

Lucien got a little angry when the girl talked to Jade with no problem, but was rude to him. Why the crap did that always happen? The prince hated people like that. Treat everyone equally. But apparently that wasn't what most people around here went by. THey treated everyone how they wanted too.... even Lucien. Funny how that could happen. Staring at the brunette he folded his arms and, as soon as the Dead thing was out of sight, spoke.

"One really shouldn't mess with the dark arts."

"One should mind thier own, correct?"

Jade chuckled quietly to herself at how the lady acted towards Lucien. It was kind of nice to have someone tell the guy where to go. It was strange to her how the women would want friends, especially ones that were dead. "Take it easy, i called it a thing because i don't know what gender it is. It's not everyday we come across someone dead. Were not exactly educated on dead people etiquette or how to properly address them.." She said when the girl responded to her question in a slightly rude and defensive tone. She decided to play along for a bit and pretend to be interested. The elf didn't really like the idea of getting on the bad side of someone who could easily kill them, then use their body's and souls as play things.

"That one happened to be a male, a fallen soilder in that stupid war two years ago. He isn't all that smart, all the same. And normally they can be easily distinguished as male or female after you've spent a little time with them." Astareal gave a happy-ish smile and her eyes shone a little in the light. Hopefully her Hand wouldn't return until a little while later. The Dead were rather depressing at times. Why that was, she had no idea, but she still had chose to hang around them all the same.

Lucien glared at the girl. She sure was mouthy, rude, and annoying. He was debating on opening his mouth again, thinking of a decent come back, when he decided to just stay quiet for another moment. Perhaps it really was best to not speak unless spoken to. "Seems to me that you would be a little more civilized if you'd hang around the living more often." Lucien's arms remained folded across his chest, a few strands of hair playing around in front of his eyes. His pale face was otherwise emotionless beside the noticable smirk resting upon it. Why did he always find it so fun to annoy people?

Jade raised an eyebrow when the sorcerer lady smiled the creepy smile. She had no idea if it was real or if it was fake. It was hard to imagine being able to tell the gender of the miss shaping corpse. Even harder to imagine someone wanting anything to do with such a thing. "If anyone can consider people like you civilized." She commented under her breath about Lucien.
