Two pea's in one twisted pod (Akuma)

[red]Kane stood waiting for Akuma. It had been a while since they had last talked. Kane enjoyed the silence, and darkness of Shadow Valley. It was usually peaceful, and quiet. Werewolves. and Vampires might roam the valley, but none usually would walk up to him. He gave off that presence, of fear and pain. His eyes glowed while they looked around, waiting for the white Akuma.

Akuma strolled through the trees and over to Kane. He smiled an raised a hand to him in a greeting manner. "Hola Kane. " He said when he got close. The demon was as bright as the stars in the sky due to him wearing mostly all white. It attracted attention but he didn't mind, he loved it. White was such a nice color. It was especially good at fooling people. Something about the color white made people thing of good and pure things. People wrongly judged people by their appearance and Akuma liked it.

Although he and Kane were partners they frequently operated alone. They would meet up like this from time to time to see what the other was up to. With the queens in power they hadn't really needed to bother wreak havoc on people, the queens did it themselves. Still Akuma at least was looking to change that. Kane seemed content to cause misery to only the few people who crossed his path. It was hard to tell what the dark angel was thinking. Even with his ability to read minds it was a challenge to figure the guy out.

"So Thanatos what have you been up to lately?" Akuma said using Kane's nickname. He thought it sounded better and he didn't much care for being formal.They were certainly a strange pair, but a very powerful one.

[red]Kane noticed Akuma out of the corner of his eye. He turned and nodded at him, his usual greeting. "Hello Akuma," He looked around, and felt as if everyone was looking. Attention usually pissed him off. He preferred to not be noticed, and for everyone to try to look away. "It's been quiet..." He smiled under his glowing eyes.

Kane began to twiddle fire around his open right hand. It moved like a little red snake, inbetween each of his fingers. Something he usually did when he was bored, and looking for something to do. "Where have you been?"[/red]

"Around." Akuma answered. Kane wasn't giving him any straight answers so why should he? He watched Kane play with his fire. It was indeed really boring. He wondered if Kane had any ideas or if they were just going to engage in small talk all night. Although in Kane's case it was always small talk since the man barely said a word. " I've heard from , a now dead source, that the Queens might be planning something. Should this be investigated further or should we just let it happen un questioned?" He figured mentioning the queens might get some kind of reaction. Akuma hated the silence and wanted something to do. Perhaps they could start plotting against the queens and take over? Anything right now would be better then scaring farmers... Akuma wanted something more suited for his evil mind.

[red]Kane thought for a moment. A rare moment it was, he was usually all about doing things, no thinking involved. "We should not let the queens do as they please. It would be more of a pleasure to disturb them." Kane quit playing with his fire, and looked around, glaring at anyone looking at him.[/red]

Akuma smiled happily. He was pleased with the reaction. Now they just needed to figure out what the Queens were up to. Then they could mess up their plans and bother them. It would be amusing to see how they would react. At the moment both his and Kanes existences was only known by a few people. So it would be a splendid surprise when the kingdom realizes that two powerful evil maniacs were right under their noses. Akuma laughed when Kane looked around so angrily. " there is no one here Thanatos. Calm down, i made sure no one followed." Akuma said an evil smile playing across his lips.

[red]Kane still looked around, he was still to cautious to be caught off-guard. He began to glance around. "Have you any idea's what they are up too?" Kane was known more for his magic abilities then his thinking ability. He wasn't one to double judge Akuma. He usually paid attention, and knew what he was doing, but Kane had a mind of his own.[/red]

Akuma sighed when he saw Kane continue to look around nervously. "You really are hopeless Thanatos. You spend so much time alone that you have grown to fear your own shadow." He said teasingly. When Kane asked if he knew what they were up to he shrugged. "I'm not entirely sure but i think the unusually cold weather might have something to do with it." Looking at his comrade he made a teasing gesture of removing Kane's hat. " I really wish you would take off that hat once in a while. It's been years and i still haven't seen your face. What have you got to hide? " Somehow it was amusing to tease Kane. Maybe it was the thrill of knowing only he could with out being disintegrated?

[red]Kane stared at him. "I have not noticed the weather change..." Kane looked down his coat and shrugged. He began to play with his fire. "My hat is a part of my identity, to remove it would make me a different person." Kane coughed, and looked around. "We're gonna need to find out what the queens are up too, and Idea's?"[/red]

Akuma smirked at Kane's reaction. When asked about the queens he shrugged. "Perhaps we can find someone who works for them and convince that person to spy for us. Once were done here I will look around and see what i can find."

[red]Kane nodded, and continued to look around. It may have been dark but he could still see. Kane didn't know what to do. They had met up after a while apart, and he didn't know what to talk about. The silence was oddly enough killing him. He shot his fire out and hit a werewolf passing by. When Kane played around he didn't kill, he just tortured.[/red]

"Hmm looks like i missed that one." Akuma drawled. Watching the creature struggle to get up after taking Kane's hit. "There is an inn nearby. There will be people there we can have fun with." He suggested in a mischievous manner. The people at the inn would probably be so drunk they would be amusing enough. Drunks always did dumb and funny things.

[red]Kane chuckled a little. "You've got a thing for the drunks..." Kane did find it amusing that inns always ended in the building on fire, whether it was his doing or someone else's. Kane stretched his wings, and looked around. "Which way?"[/red]

Akuma pointed in the direction of the inn and began walking. To Kane's remark he grinned and said. "I have a thing for people who are easy to control and confuse. Drunks just happen to fill both those categories all the time and don't resist as much. Although a challenge is fun to."

[red]Kane began to follow Akuma. He listened to what he said, and continued to walk. Oddly enough he rarely walked anywhere. Most of the time he was enjoying a flight across the area to find someone to pick on. Finding his perfect enemy, but he could not find what he was looking for. That enemy had to be somewhere.[/red]

Once reaching the inn Akuma looked at Kane. "Would you like to go first?" He asked. It would be fun seeing what Kane would do. Most likely something fire related, but that was ok. The demon liked fire, one of the things that attracted him to Kane.
