Happily Ever After? (Yumi)

Lucien let out a huff of air and fell to the ground. This was getting on her nerves. Stop being stupid, mind! It's a natural process of life!.... isn't it? With that thought, he blocked everything else out of his mind. This was a wee bit strange. "Shut up, mind. No one likes you. You are too confusing and annoying to make any sense." Catching himself talking, his eyes grew wide and he shook his head violently to get the thoughts to stop. He wasn't going to apologize, though, because the words he said to himself were well worth the aloud portion of everything.

"They get inside by making love." Plain, simple, poof there it was. Now the real question really was how to explain that portion of it. "Eggs are the natural part of the female and sperm is that of a male." Perhaps that would shed a wee bit more light on the subject, or should he have said the sper/egg part before saying how they got inside? STUPID QUESTIONS! Dropping the subject, he cleared his mind and switched back over to the nervous vampire. At least it could handle the thoughts.

Ying raised an eyebrow at Lucien still not quite sure what he was talking about. She looked at her brother expecting him to give an answer. "alright...so whats love making?"

" well.....thats where things get more complicated and...strange...." Yang stumbled trying to find an explanation. He looked at the stars, half hoping a meteorite would fall on him so he wouldn't have to do this. "Like Lucien said males make sperm and girls make eggs naturally in their bodys......and when the two meet they make a baby. Love making is how this happens.....love making is .....ummm" Runs to the kitchen to try and find the cook who was a women. Maybe she would be able to help explain. Two guys weren't the best choice for telling a young bride about making babies.

Lucien waited for the expected question, opening his mouth to speak when Yang started in. This was probably a better scenario that he had hoped for. Where did that kid run off to, anyways? Lucien debated on running after him but decided against it, looking to Ying instead. "Where'd he amble off to?" It was a slight delay, but Lucien still hadn't figured out how to word his part of the whole thing. Swiping his face with his hand, he began to plot out a way to make it sound less bad than it should; Lucien would be known for making things worse than they actually were. That was the bad thing about it.

"Perhaps you should ask Calypso or... Astareal or.... Keykku or Finn about that part of it. I know that I should be able to tell you, it's just that I don't want to... distort the whole thing and make everything about babies sound horrible."

"I don't know where he went." Ying said answering Lucien's question. When Lucien mentioned that he didn't want to explain and that it would be better to wait for a women she sighed. "alright i'll ask someone else." This was getting boring and way to confusing. Perhaps someone else would be able to tell her. She really hoped it wasn't as bad as it seemed. Nobody seemed to want to talk about it.

Yang couldn't find any one in the kitchen and began looking around the castle for a female to talk to his sister about love making.

Keykku was wandering around the castle aimlessly, a baby Finn cradled in her arms, looking for someone to talk to or a place to sleep. She didn't wanna go home. When Lucien saw her and waved her over, she smiled. "Do you want something?"

"Yes. I would like you to explain to the Mrs. about the love making process." Lucien's eyes were begging, pleading, hoping Keykku could explain. Hopefully she had actually experienced it or heard about it herself. If not, then...

Finn's eyes shot open. Transforming into an adult, she glared at Lucien. "Sssh! She doesn't know about..."
"Finn, what's love making?"
Finn did a face palm and glared at Lucien. This was just great. Now the dragon was probably going to have to explain to Ying, Keykku, and a few others (if they came) about making love and having babies. Why humans couldn't do it themselves she had no idea. She knew Keykku at least knew the basics; what many people actually called it, but she didn't know much more than that. It was probably best for them all to know now rather than later, though.

"Okay, then. I'll explain in a moment. Until then, though, how many other adults don't know about this?" Lucien shrugged and stared at the dragon, wondering how she knew about it but her human didn't. Funny how that could play out.

Ying watched as the other girl came in and the scene that followed. "Good i'm glade i'm not the only one that doesn't know." She said somewhat relived. "So what is it?" She asked looking at the dragon that was now a women. Hey Yang what are you doing?

Yang was still searching the castle for someone to explain what love making was. Trying to find someone who is a female to explain certain things to you...

Lucien already did.

Thank goodness. Yang said sighing with relief as he went back to the library. He was glade he wouldn't have to deal with it...at least for now. His sister would likely try to kill him later when the truth came out.

Finn shook her head lightly and tried to find a place to start. She also had to translate everything into human speak, which was probably going to be a little silly sounding. "You're asking about the mating process, correct?" Lucien nodded. "To start out you have a boy and a girl, a sperm and an egg. Got it? Okay, next comes the actual mating process. I'm guessing you want me to tell about that, also?" Finn raised an eyebrow, wondering why these people didn't know about that kind of stuff. Shouldn't they be born knowing about it? "Okay, so, everyone knows what there private parts are, right?" Finn hoped they did, for if they didn't, this would be horrible.

Lucien stared at the dragon, wide eyed, amazed that someone could be that calm whilst talking about this. That girl seemed to have nerves of steel or something. Lucien began to wonder how long it would be until this was over with; how long it could be until he could go to sleep. It had been a long day and for once in his life he was actually ready to hit the hay faster than normal. It was funny how awkward conversations and ceremonies could do that to people.

"I guess mating means love making. "Ying said when the girl mentioned mating. Then when Finn mentioned private parts her eyes widen."You mean we have to see each others privet parts for this. Gross! I though women and men were not suppose to know about each others parts." She said looking at Finn in a confused and horrified manner.

Finn's eyes grew wide and a shocked expression was predominate on her face. "What country are you from? Are you one of those firm stork believers or something? And, trust me, most people already know about the opposite gender's private parts. What do you think distiguishes male from female?" Finn was a little confused, but had easily gotten over that. She actually found it a little interesting and strange how a married woman hadn't even known about stuf like that. Hopefully... Keykku did the same thing Finn did, action wise, but that wasn't because of Ying's thoughts. This was because of how straight forward the dragon was trying to be.

Lucien shook his head lightly, fighting back a laugh. This was such a strange conversation... kind of funny, extremely awkward.... it was a conversation he would normally be taking place in. This conversation, however, was one he was just going to sit back and listen to. He really hoped that Finn would do a good job of explaining things.

"Anyways, the boy inserts his private parts into the girls, allowing the sperm passage, the sperm meet the egg, and a baby develops."

"Well actually yes i do believe the stork thing. It makes more sense then sperms and eggs. And girls and guys just look different. Sure they have different parts but neither is suppose to see the others. " Ying said starting to explain when Finn gave her an odd look. When Finn mentioned something about guys part entering the girls part she looked at the girl as if she was nuts. "That makes no sense how does that work out. Wouldn't that be painful?" She didn't even notice Lucien's reaction. She was to focused on what the dragon girl had said and was trying to sort out all this new information.

Finn looked like she was about to explode. The girl was actually that clueless? "Look, that's just how it is. I'm not really going to go into more depth than that. After all, you'll figure it out after you talk to someone else, I guess." Finn shrugged. She didn't know if it was painful or not. She had never experienced it, she just knew how it was. Someone else would have to tell her that. She couldn't really explain any furthur than that.

"But... but if it's natural then... why would it... hurt?" Keykku was kind of confused, but that was more of a statement than a question. Natural things weren't painful, were they? With that thought, she looked around, trying to get help from the other faces around her.

Lucien blinked furiously when Ying asked that question. He had never thought of that one, nor did he know the answer. What Keykku had said made sense, but that probably wasn't good enough for Ying. That was fine, though, because at least he didn't have to explain it anymore. It was good to be lazy.

"Ok...well i guess that settles it. I'm going to ask Calypso in the morning. She has a kid so she would be able to tell me." Ying said. Maybe it would make more sense to talk with someone who had a kid and would know. With that she left the three and went to her room. Nothing about the wedding was traditional, so why would it matter if she slept by herself and not with her husband like people said she was suppose to.

Lucien raised an eyebrow as Ying left, figuring that she was going to go to bed now. He didn't mind, for he was rather tired himself. He assigned Keykku and Finn a guest room and wandered up the stairs. Flopping down on his soft, squishy bed, he spent a moment in thought before rolling over, laying on his stomach, and falling asleep. It was good to be him... for the moment, at least.

Upon waking up the next morning, Lucien pulled his hair into a ponytail without even brushing it. Good enough. With that, he changed into his normal black clothing and headed downstairs into the kitchen. He was hungry. "What's for breakfast?" In response, two servants carried out platters of food. Eyeing it carefully, he sent three servants to wake up his friends; Ying, The Jozlyns, and the dragon rider. Sitting down at the table, he wondered what he was going to eat for a moment.

Ying groggily went down to the kitchen to meet Lucien. On her way she met the Jocelyn's. "Um hey Calypso i was wondering if i could ask you something.. alone." She figured it would be best to get this over with now. She didn't want to be kept away with her questions like she was last night. Stupid brain wouldn't turn off like it was suppose to, but instead insisted on replying the conversation.


Yang woke up in the library when one of the maids came to clean it. Realizing he slept there all night he apologies to the maid and left to go down to the kitchen. He wondered how the night went for Lucien and his sister. The unpleasant conversation was probably over with now. Hopefully Ying wasn't too traumatized.

Lucien greeted the majority of his guests as they came into the kitchen, but figured that the two missing wouldn't really make that much of a difference.

Calypso stopped, listened to Ying, and nodded. "You can ask me anything." Smiling, she waited with the girl until everyone in the hall had dispersed. She wondered what the girl wanted to ask. Probably something about weddings or married life or something. Calypso had gotten many of those questions over the years. It seemed that only she and Liam were the couple that could make things work. Funny how that happened, because... nevermind that. But, she was still willing to try and answer any question as best she could.

"Well i was actually wondering about having babies. I always thought the stork brought them but i herd from Lucien and Finn that it was actually something else. I was hoping you could explain it to me. The others tried but they just made it more confusing. I figured you would know since you have a kid." Ying said also smiling.

Yangs heart sank when he noticed the amount of people in the kitchen. He had forgotten that so many people lived in the castle. The halls always seemed so empty, it was strange to see all those people there. He quietly entered and sat at a table far from everyone else.
