Moonlight Madness (Yumi)

Tien looked around. It had gotten dark, and she was afraid. The little ball of light was still by her side, and she was trying to find her way back to the Spring. Somehow, she was failing miserably. Why did this always have to happen? Didn't she have enough on her plate already? The angel flapped her eft wing once, to get a crick out of it. It already felt better. Her green eyes looked around quietly, hoping that nothing was going to get her. She did not like this situation. No, not at all. The pink haired girl looked at the orb of light. "Oh Delancy! I wish you had someway you could see us home. You're just a ball of light, though." The girl plopped down in the grass and squeezed her eyes shut. She was lost and she needed to remember the way home. What had she seen? A big rock.

Tien stood back up. She looked around. Thrusting out a pale finger, "Go over there. Make a wide circle around me, that way I can see the rock if it is nearby." Sure enough, as the ball of light came around, the rock wasn't even five meters away. The girl ran over to the rock and hugged it. Finally. Now what to look for next? Nothing. There was nothing between the rock and the Spring besides open plain. The girl wanted to sit down and cry. Crying was a waste of time, though. "Perhaps we should just wait for morning." Tien didn't want to wait until morning. Perhaps the moon would give her some direction?

Xander didn't know why but the mystic spring helped him think. Thinking something he had been doing a lot of. As he walked he noticed a light. This wasn't exactly a place most people would go unless they had a reason or were lost. Few people even knew about this place. He had only found it the first time by accident. Curious by the light he came closer and found what appeared to be a little girl. She didn't seem happy, maybe she was lost. "hi..do you need help?"

Tien's eyes brightened when she saw the little boy. "Delancy! Look!" The ball of light moved above her head, as if looking. When the boy asked if she needed help she hugged him and then pulled away rapidly. "Yes, yes! We do need help! Indeed! I hate the dark and it's just... Oh, I'm so happy!" Tien took a few seconds to calm herself down, to soothe her rapid heart rate. Delancy continued floating around. The angel studied the boy for a moment, and then decided that he looked around her age. "Sorry about that. We - Delancy and I - need help to get back to the Springs. It's dark and I dislike the dark with all my heart and then I got lost trying to get back so I would appreciate it if you would help me back there. I could do something for you in return." The girl bowed her head slightly and was practically jumping up and down with joy. Finally, fate made things go her way. She was shaking in her imaginary boots. How the boy managed to show up at the right time she didn't know, but whoa, was it convienient! She was anxious to follow, anxious to get back to the Springs. She flapped both of her wings, just to use up some of her excess energy.

Xander watched the girl with a raised eyebrow. She was.......clearly very happy. "Uh ok. Follow me" The boy walked to where he thought the Springs were. It had been a while since he last went there. The girl appeared to be an angel because of her wings...But then again she could also be a hybrid like him. Her enthusiastic attitude caught him off guard he had only met one other person like that. That would be Ying, though the werewolf was maybe a little bit more calm then this girl. After a while they reached the Springs. That was good he would have felt really bad if he had gotten them both lost after the girl had put her trust in him. The hug made him curious as to what other uses it had. Ying had said it was to make people feel better when their sad. This girl had done in out of....graddidtuded? Happiness maybe?

Tien was overwhelmed with joy when she saw the woods surrounding the Springs. "Thank you, kind boy!" She ran into the woods, stopping just before she reached the Springs. Delancey went back behind the pink haired girl and floated around there. The angel looked up at the sky, closed her eyes, and then bowed toward the spring. In a moment her eyes shot open and she looked around. Where had that boy went? "Oh little boy? Are you still here? I would like to pay you back for your assisstance." Tien stood up and striaghtened her dress. It was nice to know that it hadn't been completely wrinkled. She looked around, feeling a little tired. Delancey hovered there quietly, as usually. Perhaps the boy had left once he had seen her here? Perhaps the barrier stopped him from coming near? Hmm.

The hybrid had walked in to the forest with the girl. However thinking that was all he changed into a bird and flew up into a nearby tree. Hearing her call out he immediately changed back into a boy and came down beside her. "i'm right here and there is no need to pay me." Hopefully his sudden appearance didn't scare her but it probably would. He had a bad habit of scaring people without meaning to. He couldn't help that he was quiet and sneaky he had been trained to be that way.

He wasn't sure what the girl meant by pay he assumed she meant money. No matter what it was he didn't want it. After all in a way helping everyone he could that gave him a chance was his payment. To payback some of the harm he caused while he figured out how he was going to kill the queens. Paying someone who was already trying to pay for something didn't really make sense.

The place was mysterious and relaxing. One thing he didn't understand was the concept that only good , pure people could cross the force field into this place. It didn't make sense since he wasn't really either of those things.

Tien, understanding, nodded her head. Her hair followed the movement. She sighed. Perhaps there was nothing that she could do for him. "You don't need any assisstance, anywhere? No place where you could use an angel?" The girl thought for a moment. Perhaps he would except some of her little charms that she had crafted? Probably not, because they all looked a little funny because she hadn't known how. That and... suddenly, she got an idea. Turning around, she walked over to a tree and reached into a hole in the wood. Rummaging around a moment, she pulled out a small glass vial. Tien then walked over to the spring, stopped down, and scooped some of it up. "Even though you probably could've done this yourself, I want you to take this as my reward for you helping me." She held out the vial, the water changing colors inside of it. It created a faint light, mainly due to the way the glass was made. "Drink this only when you are in dire need of it. It's not normal water, if you haven't already figured that out." She nodded, sealing her thoughts, and looked back toward the Spring. It sure was beautiful.

The boy was relived that he didn't scare her. "thanks..what does it do?" Xander asked when the girl gave him the water. He knew it wasn't normal but he had no idea what was special about it. He smiled at the girl. She seemed really nice....but then again she was an angel. It wouldn't make much sense if she was evil.

"What happens when people die?" The question just came out and he didn't even have chance to think about what he was asking. It was like his mouth had a mind of its own and insisted upon asking any thing that popped into his head. The girl would probably think it was a strange and creepy thing for him to ask. Though if anyone knew the answer an angel certainly would.

"The water has healing abilities, and supposedly, it can help you do what is right." The angel shrugged, and looked at Delancey. The ball of light was still just hanging there, content. For a ball of light she shure did portray enough fake emotions.

Tien blinked. Delancey came around the side of her head, seemingly curious. All the ball of light really did was mimic the girl's emotion. "They either go to Heaven or to Hell, I guess." That sounded a bit unholy of her. Then again, she hadn't really experienced death before. There wasn't a specific way to answer that question, then. She had done her best, even though her best sometimes didn't do. It was a rather strange question and she was caught slightly off-guard by it. "Your destination depends on whether or not you believe in Him." She figured that would only lead to more questions. Bring it on. In truth she had nothing better to do.

Great just what he needed a potion to help him do whats right. His joy turned into confusion as the girl answered his other question. "Who is 'Him'? and what is heaven and hell?" He never heard of those things before. He also wondered how gates of death that Astreal worked with connected to it, if at all.

Her ball of light puzzled him as well. The hybrid watched it in fascination. He wondered what the light really was and why it followed the girl. Did it have any other purposes? This girl and her ball of light were far from ordinary. But then again nothing about this place was ordinary.

Tien's eyes grew wide. "Oh, my. Him is the Lord Almighty! How could you not know? Hmm. God is Him!" The girl's jaw dropped. "Are you an atheist?" Her eyes grew wide. She had met plenty of them, but they were adults. Perhaps he had just never heard of Him. Then again, how couldn't he have? He was almost twelve, by his looks! She didn't know what to do, so she remained calm. She was just astounded at his not knowing-ness. "Heaven is the Lord's Place, where people who believe are sent. Hell is the bad place, the place no one wants to go to." Those were basic, nice explanations by her point of view. Hopefully he wasn't confused.

Xander kept looking at her in a confused manner her explanations weren't really making much sense. "Whats a god?..and i have no idea what you mean by Atheist" He said. He really didn't know anything about gods,angels or demons. The only thing he knew were basic things. Things such as Angels were good and Demons were bad. "So when we die if we believe we go to this gods house?" It sounded kind of strange. Death based on what this angel had told him was just going to this guys house. Didn't seem so bad when put that way. But then there was that other place that you go if you don't believe. How could he believe something he didn't understand?

Tien couldn't help but slump a little. She didn't feel like explaining this. It was her job, and it seemed a bit unholy, but... "A god is an almighty being. THE GOD, however, is the only one. The other ones are false. An Athiest is someone who doesn't believe in God and gets sent to Hell." Tien sighed lightly, feeling it her duty to explain this. Hopefully he sorted all of this out by himself. She truly didn't want to explain much more than this. "It's not a house, really. At least, I don't think it is. It's a perfect place, up in the clouds. Heaven. It's where the angels live. You want to be there too, rather than hell." The girl rubbed her forehead lightly, probing it with her three middle fingers. She studied the bo for a moment, trying to figure out if he understood better now.

Xander nodded. Truthfully the boy still didn't understand but he didn't want to admit it. The girl seemed kind of annoyed and he didn't want to bother her anymore. If this god was as great as the girl made him sound then why was the world such a bad place? Couldn't the god just make all the bad people disappear? "ok well..i'll leave you alone now. Thanks for the gift." He said before leaving.

Tien sighed. Great. She must have confused him so much that he felt like leaving. She didn't like doing that to people. Now she felt a little bad. Wading into the spring, she stood there in the water for a moment, before she sensed someone coming. Alert, she looked around quietly. Delancey, the faithful little ball of light, flew about her head wildly. Apparently, what was coming wasn't supposed to be here. Why wasn't the barrier working today? She would have to look into that. Whoever was coming, though, had better be prepared. Tien was prepared to throw up a large barrier that would push any oncomer back to where they became, even if they smacked into a tree and died while she did it.

Akuma came to the Mystical Springs to test how strong he was getting. He had gotten the information of it's where abouts a long time ago from one of the many pesky angels that roamed the region. There was improvement as he was able to get through the barrier. Unfortunately, not completely un scathed. Passing through the barrier gave him a migraine. But the demon supposed he could live with that especially since last time he tried he nearly killed himself. Truly he didn't expect anyone to be here so late. Most angels and other light beings came only during the day. So it was a surprise when he came across an angel girl. It was clear by her face that she didn't want him there. "Now now, is that anyway to treat a guest? Shouldn't angels have better manners?" He drawld.
