Strange dream (Admin)

Xander listened to the dragon politely though he had no idea what she was talking about. Clotting of blood? Arteries? He had no idea what that all meant. Finn and Kariya seemed to enjoy fighting with each other. From experience with other people who did the same this meant it was a good thing and that they liked each other. Or at least that's what he hoped because he didn't want the other boy to get eaten.

Ying smiled with relief at not having to try and explain the concept to Xander because she probably would have laughed if she did. Though it looked like the explanation just confused the hybrid more. Poor Xander maybe she should find a way to get the boy into a school or something. When she heard the blond ask about her she held out her hand and smiled. "I'm Ying, nice to meet you." She purposely left out the part about her being royalty. The last thing she wanted was someone not much younger then her to be calling her Majesty or bowing. She looked at Finn curiously. "So why are you against letting the boys explore? I don't think there is any danger left down here to be worried about. " Maybe it was because she wasn't a mother figure, but she really didn't see the problem. The werewolf wondered why Xander would be here though. Why would he come down to a place that likely just held painful memories?

Kariya, being the little twerp that he was, took Ying's hand, kissed it, and then bowed. "Pleasure to meet you, Ying. I'm Kariya Wattson." The bow stood back up, straighter this time, and smiled. He looked to Finn to see if she approved, and she appeared to care less. Perhaps that was a good thing? Hopefully, because he wouldn't like it if she didn't. He hated it when she started off on one of her nagging, blah blah blah little rants. They were pointless and he didn't learn anything from them anyways.

Finn looked at Ying and thought about the question. She had nothing against Xander being down here, but Kariya was a whole other story. "I couldn't care less if they were down here, actually. But Kariya decided that he was going to sneak off in the middle of the night, not tell anyone where he was going, and come here. To the old dungeon. If you knew that boy like I do, you'd be worried too. All he does is get himself into trouble, one way or another." Finn looked at Kariya as she spoke. The boy just grinned and rubbed the back of his head, messing up his hair.

"Finn's just a worry wart. She thinks that just because I explore I'm going to die." Kariya said this, straight faced, not showing the slightest hint of what emotions he was feeling. "Defenseless little boys shouldn't go anywhere without letting someone know." Finn looked at the boy and sighed. "If I'd have told you, you'd have said no anyways."

"I would've said no for a reason." Finn stared at the boy, and he stared right back at her. This was a bit... strange. For once, he seemed to have the upper hand in this argument, although Finn had the better point. Kariya looked up at Ying, then to Xander. "So, then, would you guys like to explore with us?"

Ying did a mental palm face as the boy bowed and kissed her hand. How weired, Lucien didn't even do that and they were married. If this was how the blond acted without knowing she was royalty she shuddered to think what would happen if he knew. "Please don't do that it really isn't necessary." The girl told him taking her hand back from the boy.

When Kariya and Finn started arguing she just stood and watched not really caring who won. They certainly fought a lot, more like siblings then anything. When the boy posed the question of her exploring with him she was surprised and kind of uncertain how to respond. Sure it sounded fun but she really didn't want to interfere with Finn. If the dragon didn't want the boy to go exploring dungeons in the middle of the night then it wasn't her place to just go ahead and take the boy exploring. "Well actually maybe you should listen to Finn. The dungeon will still be here tomorrow and perhaps if you behave she will let you go then. For now though maybe we should all go back to bed. If Finn allows it i would be happy to take you boys exploring down here tomorrow." The werewolf worded it as best as she could so that neither of them would get upset. Sure it probably wouldn't be as adventurous going at night but tomorrow she would have the keys so they would be able to explore and see more stuff. Hopefully it would be a reasonable compromise.

"Puh-lease, Ying. She wouldn't let me go if I cleand the whole house, took a bath, and ate my vegetables. She wouldn't give me permission if I begged and threatened to commit suicide. She wouldn't give me permission if I acted like the perfectest little angel for the rest of my life." Kariya shook his head, sighing. Finn looked at him and raised her eyebrows. If he did one of those things she might actually give him permission. And yet, he insisted upon being a difficult little turd, as always. Acted like the perfect combination of his parents. She couldn't wait until Ransom was mature so he could baby-sit the kid.

"Actually that would be fine with me, if you wouldn't mind. I would like having the day off." Finn said this in a straight tone, a few various emotions hidden behind the innocent facade. Kariya's jaw dropped. He couldn't believe it. Was she actually being nice? He pinched himself. Did it again. And again. And again. Until that spot on his arm was stinging with pain, probably going to bruise. Maybe this would be interesting, after all.

Ying raised her eyebrows at the boy when he started begging. She was known for acting like a kid but even she didn't do stuff like this. When Finn said it was ok her jaw almost dropped. What was going on tonight? Everyone was acting so weird. "Are you sure?" She asked giving the dragon a disbelieving look.

Of course she didn't mind, it would be awesome. She would have a reason to get out of her duty's and would have the day off! It was going to be great, she would get to hang out with kids and be free to act as silly and immature as she wanted. Plus Lucien's reaction to having all the work dumbed on him at the last minute would be pretty fun to watch to.

Xander didn't say anything. He had no clue what was going on. But from the sound of it they were just talking about whether they were going to go exploring tomorrow. The thing is he didn't actually no what it meant. The hybrid had just said he was doing that because he didn't want them to know the real reason he was down here. Maybe it was something fun though, after all the other boy seemed to be excited by the idea.

"I'm absolutely sure. So sure that I'm not sure why I'm this sure, mainly because I don't trust any of you with that idiot, nor do I trust that idiot with himself. Yet, I would like to have a day off from him. He can get rather... annoying." Finn tried to explain her feeling as best she could, and still ended up not sounding sure. But she did want to have the day off. Really badly. She would like to relax... and Ransom could go along and hang around with them, just in case Kariya got a bit out of hand. He had a tendency to do that, and Ransom was good at keeping him calm.

Kariya raised his brows and rubbed his eyes. This was impossible. Never in a thousand years had he thought Finn would say yes to one of these ideas. Maybe if he was a brat all the time she would start giving him permission to go somewhere so she could be away from him. Why did he even ask her permission, though? She wasn't his mother. She was his mother's dragon. Which gave her no authority over him whatsoever. It was probably the fear of being a roast kid that made him think twice before doing something that would anger her. Which is why he listened to her, apparently.

"Well then, we'll see you tomorrow." Kariya nodded and walked over by Finn. Hopefully he would be able to sleep through the rest of the night. That would be nice.. although nearly impossible due to his excitement.

((Feel free to have Ying go find Lucien lol then that little scene could unfold. It would be fun.))

Ying and Xander just looked at Finn in a confused manner neither of them really understanding what the dragon was trying to say.

Ying smiled and shrugged. "ok then." She said waving as they left. The werewolf then turned to Xander. "alright i guess we should get going to."

Ying got up and dressed silently. It was still dark out side because of how early it was. Today was going to be cold so she couldn't wear a dress today. Instead she wore long blue pants and a nice green sweater. Quietly the girl left her room and tip toed to her husbands room which wasn't that far away. She pause at the door wondering how to go about this. Walking right in would not be good, what if he was naked?! Yuck, that definitely wouldn't be a good start to the day. Shrugging she decided to just knock. She had considered while getting dressed on just giving him a note and then running away before he could get angry.....But this way would be more funny. Hopefully he wouldn't be too grumpy at being woken up.

Finn grabbed Kariya and towed him off, taking him home.

The next morning, Lucien was having a nightmare. He woke when someone knocked on the door, drenched in sweat. Standing up, he ignored how poofy and ratty his hair had gotten and pulled on his robe. Eyes wide, he looked around and opened the door, squinting his eyes at the light outside. When he saw Ying, he made a little yelp and pinched himself. "What the heck do you want this early in the morning? And why aren't you a zombie anymore?" Lucien, answering his second question by himself, smacked his forehead. That was a dream. Those weren't real. Shaking his head, he looked back at the girl.

"You don't plan on doing something outrageous today, do you?"

Ying gave Lucien a puzzled look when he asked why she wasn't a zombie. "Maybe you should see someone about those dreams." She said smiling. The werewolf tried not to laugh at her husbands hair. He he it was so puffy.....she was tempted to poke it. Her thought was interrupted by asking if she was going to do something outrageous. She smiled slyly he should knew better than to ask things like that, for both of them were always up to something crazy. "Well now that you mention it i'm babysitting Kariya but i don't know if you would call that outrageous. Unless you count that were going to the dungeons." She wondered how long it would take to realize that this meant he was going to be stuck with all the work.

Lucien listened for a moment, before thinking for a moment afterwards. "Those dreams simply mean that I have an overactive imagination and nothing more. I'm the king and what I say goes." He had already lost his inner battle and began to get a bit big headed over being King. It was a title that came with the rights to do things. A lot of things. After Ying commented on where they were going, Lucien took a moment to contemplate that. "Why would you want to babysit? That seems a bit boring, don't you think? That and the dungeons... there's probably some scary things down there, you know? So..." He immediatley shut up as a thought occured to him. If she was going to be gone... "Wait a second! If you're going to be gone, whose going to eat dinner with me?" Lucien got the grumpiest look on his face that had ever been there before. He wanted to eat dinner with someone. It was the only fun thing he got to do in a day.

Ying gave a smile of satisfaction at her husbands reaction. It was always so funny making him mad. The best part was that he didn't even seem to realize that not having company for dinner was the least of his problems. " I wanted to go to the dungeons because it is an adventure and it seemed like the only way to get the boy to behave for a while. As for dinner i'm sure you will survive not having me there." She answered cheerfully. All through out their conversation she was doing mental flips. She was going to have the day off! This was so exciting it had been a while since the werewolf got to go on an adventure. The timing couldn't have been more perfect either as today's duties were suppose to be especially boring. She almost burst out laughing right there at the thought of Lucien doing it all alone.

"Wait a second, wait a second. If you're planning on being gone, then..." Lucien thought for a moment, trying to put two and two together. He kept getting fish. There was something he was missing. There had to be. "Hey! That isn't fair. You're abandoning me and your royal duties to go babysit some little twerp who probably won't make it very far in life anyway?" Lucien's jaw dropped and he shook his head. "Aww man! How did you suck me into this?" Rubbing his eyes, Lucien looked at Ying like a wounded baby chipmunk. There had to be a way to get out of this.

Ying just smiled evilly at his reaction. She was enjoying his misery to much. All she could think about was being free....this was kind of mean but she couldn't help it. " Aww you weren't suppose to realize it until later. Way to ruin my fun." This was the best and possibly the meanest prank she ever pulled. Leaving him with all the work and him not realizing until the last minute...or thats how it was suppose to happen. She giggled at him and held out her fingers in a peace sign as she backed away.

Now that he knew what she was going to do the girl really didn't need to talk to him anymore. But he would probably would come after her. Playing with the keys in her hands the girl walked around looking for the boy she was suppose to babysit for the day. The whole time wondering how Lucien was going to get himself out of this mess. This would be quite the story to remember when they got older.

When Ying started to walk away, Lucien started to plot his revenge. She wouldn't get away with this. He went in his room, got dressed, and brushed his hair. Afterward, he took a shortcut downstairs, avoiding Ying at all costs. Once he got there, he intercepted Finn and the boy and took them into the kitchen. Finn said that she had to be going, so Lucien spent some time talking to the boy. He filled the kid's head full of various things, what Ying liked and didn't like, also spilling the beans as to that she was the queen and that he should be sure to treat her as so. Afterwards, he gave the kid some orange juice and a granola bar, sending him back into the hallway. He found a way to creep back up to his room without being noticed. And he went back to bed.

Kariya sat there, pondering what how he was going to greet his advernturing party. She didn't like politeness... so maybe he should cuss and swear and say rude things? No, that wouldn't be the way to treat a queen. But... he could just nod and ignore her! That might work. Or... maybe he could just wave. That would be better than nothing. Maybe he could do a mixture of all three things? Hard to tell....

(( lol aww the two always playing tricks on each other. XD.....It will be so sad when/if i decide to make Ying die. Then Lucien won't have anyone to prank.))

After a while she finally found the boy. It seemed he had something on his mind. "Are you ready?" She asked kindly. Hopefully this boy wasn't as ill behaved as Finn made him seem. Looking around she didn't see Xander anywhere. Maybe the hybrid decided not to come after all. "looks like it might just be you and me unless Xander decides to randomly pop up. He does that sometimes."

She wondered if Lucien had gone back to bed...it was odd that he didn't follow her. He wouldn't be sleeping long though, because he would have to start doing the work for the day. She grinned to herself as an image of Lucien pulling his hair out in frustration entered her mind. Something wasn't right..., if he was that upset he would have followed her or something? It wasn't like him to just let something like that go.

Kariya looked at the girl, then looked back at his feet. His eyes were abnormally wide. He thought for a moment, then decided to just remain quiet. He couldn't look at her... it was right. He was merely a commoner, after all. Or at least... Lucien had said that she didn't like people looking at her. Maybe he was just lying? No, he couldn't have been. That didn't make sense. Why would he have reason to lie? Although she didn't seem to mind him making eye contact yesterday. He had some questions, but children were meant to be seen not heard. At least... that's what she thought.

To signify his agreement, he merely nodded. This was strange. Normally he wouldn't shut up for anything, but... today that wasn't going to happen. "Do you really eat babies for supper?" Kariya couldn't help but looking up, his eyes looking like that of a baby deer. A wounded animal. Immediatley he looked back at the ground. That was bad. He wasn't supposed to make eye contact. If she really did eat babies... maybe that man really was just lying. It was hard to tell, though. He seemed so sincere...
