Strange dream (Admin)

Yings eyes widened in horror when he mentioned knowing where babies come from. "You...you really know about it......doesn't it bother you?" She asked not believing what she was hearing. This kid was starting to scare her a little. He knew about horrible things and yet was so calm about it.

The were watched the boy curiously when he started messing around with the iron maiden. She was only a little surprised to see that it was actually a hidden door way. There was a lot of secret entrances to hidden rooms in the castle. "I guess were going there next." The girl stated knowing Kariya would most definitely want to go down there. She waited for the boy to take the lead and hoped it wasn't another torture chamber.

"Bother me? There were so many foriegn words in that description that I got lost after the first sentence. So I know where they come from and stuff, I just don't.... know. I could tell people, in terms of what I was told, but I still wouldn't be able to understand some of those words. I didn't feel like questioning my dad further, anyways." Kariya wave the question off with a hand gesture and started down the hallway, his eyes having to adjust immensley to the severe lack of light. His shoe came untied and he tripped over it, skinning his elbow. Growling at his own clumsiness, he fumbled around with his shoe, trying to tie it in the dark. After thirty seconds of mumbling to himself, he had managed to get it tied in a reasonable knot that wasn't going to untie itself very soon. Turning around, he looke for Ying. Remembering his backpack, he ug around in it and pulled out a book of matches and some candles Finn had given him. Lighting one of the matches, he lit the candle. The soft flame danced on the walls. This was much better. As far as the boy could tell, this corridor would go on for quite a while longer. Whatever was down there was probably worth the wait, then....

Ying shook her head at Kariya. What he said confused her but by the sounds of it he didn't actually know anything about it. That was good, the last thing she wanted was another by traumatized by the truth. Now the girl just had to make sure that Akuma stayed away from the castle before he could pollute this kids mind.

It sure was dark down this hallway. Thankfully with here sharp senses she was able to get around. However it didn't sound like the boy was. She knelt down beside him. "You ok?" When he lit a light she smiled. "Seems like you come prepared." The hall way was quite long it looked like it might even be a whole hour before they would reach the end.

"I should be fine now. That won't happen again." Shoes sucked. It would be awesome if he could just run around barefoot. The only bad thing would be all the parasites he could potentially pick up. After lighting the candle, he continued walking at a faster pace down the hall. After walking for quite some time, a door came into sight. Of course, it wasn't locked, and a little bit of light was creeping through a crack in the door. Upon approaching it further, the door didn't look all that normal. Kariya reached out to touch it and an electric signal reached out to greet his touch. He flinched, but didn't pull away. The beam seemed to be friendly. Once it had stoppe scanning him, which had tickled slightly, the door squeaked open. Inside, things were flying around, whizzing this way and that. Beakers, scientific things. There was a fireplace along the far wall, lit and crackling. A bunch of lights lit up the ceiling, making the whole thing look elegant. Someone must've been here recently... unless...

"Whoa. What is this place? It's... magical! And... there's another door over there! I wonder what that leads to?" Kariya's head was spinning. This place was huge and completely fascinating. He took a few cautious steps forward... then looked at the floor. It was shiny, and seemed to be made out of a creamy white rock... pearl, maybe? Marble? It was had to tell. All the same, the boy reached out to touch things. So far all he saw were a bunch of dusty old books and flying projectiles, but maybe there was something cool around here to play with...

Ying walked into the room awe struck by it. "Wow." She breathed looking around. This was simply amazing the girl wondered who could have possibly created this room. The room was fairly big and looked like it might have been some sort of science room. She wondered around the room looking at all the different things. There were beakers full of colorful liquid and some other science devices. Finally after a while she made her way to the door the boy was looking at. It was a really interesting door and looked expensive. It looked very well kept which suggested to the werewolf that there may be someone still down here. Someone who must have been quite rich to have a door like the one they were looking at. The room the door lead to could be just as nice. "after you."

"Are you sure? What id someone's in there? Maybe that other kid... Xander, I think, would have an idea of who it was. What if whoever it was doesn't like people trespassing in his... lab?" It wasn't like Kariya to question just jumping into something head first, but this seemed exceptionally dangerous. Ignoring his sense of caution he opened the door reluctantly, and peeked around the side. He was greeted by a rush of warm, smelly air. Immediatley he closed the door. "There is something in there! Whatever it is, I hope I doesn't like little boys... or werewolf queens." The boy shrunk back against the table, completely curious as to what it was. Maybe Ying had gotten a better glimpse of it than he had? Perhaps it would be smarter to not further explore and just mess around in the coorful things. Maybe two somethings mixed together would make an explosion?

Ying nodded at the boys suggestion. "yeah i guess it does seem a little creepy. We should go back. As for Xander i'm not sure how much he would know about this." She couldn't believe she was actually going to let the kid go in there with out knowing what was there. That was dangerous.....whatever was down there could have been evil and decided to kill them. All the chocolate was starting to mess with her brain. "I'm sorry i should never have let you go in...I should have gone." The werewolf said sincerely.

Maybe there was something more going on though. "Your usually crazy and run into things without thinking right? And as silly as i am sometimes i don't just do random dangerous things or let others do it. I think we really should leave..because i think there is something in this room messing with our minds." The girl motioned for Kariya. Something wasn't right about this place. As amazing as the room was, there was something sinister about it she couldn't explain.

"I think your overreacting. I like this place. Its pretty cool. And unless there's something in it for me, I don't think I'm going to leave unti-" The boy was cut off by a cold, pale hand clapping down over his mouth. He began to squirm uselessly, before deciding that whoever it was probably wasn't going to hurt him or they would've done it already. "I see you've found my grandfather's lab." Lucien sadi this with a laugh and let the kid go, gla that the little rat hadn't decided to nibble on his hand. He ha to be in human form down here or else insanely crazy things happened.

As for where he had come from... secret entrance from the roof. He liked to drop in every now and again and he didn't really fancy having to let that stupid hairy beast sniff him over for five mintues just to get entrance from that direction. It wasn't worth his time. "I'm technically only down here because I'm 'getting some ink', so to speak, but..." He drifted off in midsentence. Best to leave that one only partially filled in.

Kariya turned around and glared at the man, his king. He didn't care who the heck he was, Kariya kicked him in the shin anyways. "Give me some warning next time, will ya? For all I knew, you were some evil stalker guy who was going to rape me or something." Kariya went over by Ying and glared at Lucien, who was gingerly rubbing his shin. "You know that's a federal offense, right?"

"You realize I'm nine, right? What're you gunna do, have me executed?" The blonde shook his head and Lucien laughed. The kid had a point.

The girl sensed Lucien coming and shook her head when he scared Kariya. Those two were a lot alike. "Royce you really enjoy scaring people don't you? But since your here why not tell us more about this place." The queen asked curiously. She didn't know anything about the castle or her husbands family. It sounded interesting and it was better then just standing there listening to the two boys fight. Ying decided to wait until later to bug him about the days work.

"Well, my... grandfather? But, anyways, he was an evil magician guy. He was evil and liked to do experiments with the humans. When the humans were in control, he was their arsenal, for weapons. I've decided that I like this place enough to keep it in tact. Some of the things he... invented... are pretty cool. But, most were meant for torture. Like fireworks." Lucien could only imagine the things he did with some of the other things, the chemicals and such, the man used to perform his little torture manuevers on the humans. It was rather depressing, and he was sure that the queens had found a way to use it to their advantage when they were in control. He had decided that he liked it better as a bunch of cool things that could be used for good things, like medicine and such.

"So, then, you use this stuff for fun. Got any cool explosives? Anything really awesome that makes loud noise? Things that fly?" Kariya knew that this stuff would tick Finn off, which is why he wanted to obtain it. The boy looked at Ying, his eyes filled with eagerness. "Thanks a lot for taking me exploring. If you wouldn't have, I wouldn't have found this stash of fun things." Lucien looked at his watch and grimaced. "Well, I have to go. Got some paperwork to do." Lucien glared at Ying, made a face, and walked out the door with the beast. There was an animalistic yelp and a laugh, then it was silent.

Kariya looked at Ying, and Finn's voice and face poppe up into his head. "Depressing, really. I probably shouldn't stay down here for much longer... I might get an idea and end up bolowing myself up." The boy looked at the queen expectantly. She would probably know what to do. Hopefully. Because he was drawing a blank.

Ying shook her head at the boys she didn't like the sound of what they were thinking at all. Must be a guy thing to want to play around with strange chemicals and stuff that exploded. "oh your welcome." She said when the blond thanked her. Inside though she was starting to wonder if it was a good idea. There was something about this place that was starting to creep her out for some reason.

The queen smiled when Lucien gave her the look. "Have fun" she said with a laugh waving bye to her husband. As creepy as exploring the dungeons had been it was totally worth seeing Lucien so annoyed. Her attention turned back to Kariya when he mentioned wanting to leave. "well i'm kind of hungry i didn't eat breakfast i was too excited. Maybe we can go get something to eat and then find something else to do after."

Xander stood outside of the door of the dungeon entrance wondering if he should have gone with them. There shouldn't be anything dangerous left so they should be ok. And if he went in and ran into them they might ask him things.....The boy banged his head against the wall trying to make up his mind about what he was going to do. On one hand he felt like he should go but he also didn't want to go. It was all so confusing.

Jade walked by eating a cookie and gave the boy a funny look when she saw him banging his head against the wall. "what the heck are you doing?" The blond elf asked raising her eyebrows at the hybrid.

"oh nothing" The boy lied and quickly stopped what he was doing. When did she get here he wondered. "why are you here?" he asked.

Jade shrugged. "I just felt like coming to the castle. They let me come whenever i want since i helped put their butts in power." The girl crossed her arms and added silently. " Truthfully i come for the food since i stink at cooking. There i told you the truth now you tell me what your really up to." That kid was so strange maybe they should have him out in a loony bin or something. Though she would rather die then admit it he was kind of a cute kid once you got past his weird behavior.

"Honestly nothing."

"So you just kill brain cells to pass the time?" The elf asked sarcastically.

The boys eyes widened in horror. "Gah no! I'm killing something! I'm so sorry.........."

Jade palm faced and sighed. "Calm down you not really killing anything it is just a figure of speech...." Oh great how i'm a suppose to explain this. She thought.

Kariya nodded. Now that she mentioned it, he was hungry. He led the way back out of the dungeon happily, nearly running into Xander and some random blond chick who he didn't know. He studied her for a moment, then started to eavesdrop on their conversation. He figured he could explain this one pretty well... "Technically, you are killing something. Brain cells. The things your brain is made up of. When you hit your head on something it kills some. But you have lots of them so don't worry, if anything, it'll just make you dumb." Kariya smiled. He'd had that lecture before when he had decided that the trees were going to be his opposing team in a rousing game of football. Wasn't very smart to try and tackle a tree.

Kariya looked around and smiled. Hopefully that didn't offend anyone or confuse anyone. He was beginning to wonder if Finn's 'I'm always right'-ness was rubbing off on him. He seemed to be learning more and more and was getting rather annoyed. He didn't like being smarter than a lot of people. He looked at Ying. "I want them to come with us to eat. Can they?" He put on a cute look and then looked at the other two. "Will you?"

Jade smiled relief at least she didn't have to try and explain it. The blond studied the blond kid. " You know it isn't very safe to just go up to random people and invite them places." The elf never seen this one before. She looked at Ying in a questioning manner.

"Actually he knows who i am...he just doesn't know you." Xander pointed out shyly.

"Same idea." The girl said rolling her eyes.

"This is Kariya. I'm babysitting for Finn." Ying said answering Jades un asked question. The look the elf gave made it obvious that the blond was wondering who the kid was and why the queen was with him. When the blond boy in question asked if the two could join them she smiled. "Of course they can if they want to."

"Well it's a relief to know that you didn't.....never mind. Sure i'll go i guess, nothing better to do since Hiowie decided to run off to some random place." The elf said shrugging. She wondered why the other two were in the dungeons. It wasn't a place to just go running of to especially not with a kid.

Xanders expression went blank as he tried to comprehend everything the other boy was saying. He shook his head confused. "i still don't get it. But that's ok.....sure i'll come with you guys if you want me to." He said nervously. Why was he so stupid? Maybe being hit in the head really did make you dumb. But it helped him think by clearing out all the useless stuff. Or at least he thought so he couldn't remember...Maybe it was just a habit. "is it ok if we don't eat in the great hall where all the people are?" He asked quietly.

Ying smiled. "No problem. There should be an empty room somewhere so that the four of us can be alone." The werewolf gave the elf a quick look of disgust at what the blond was suggesting.

Jade smiled nervously. "Sorry i just don't picture you...well you know........i'll just shut up now." What the heck was wrong with her talking of such things and in front of kids. Did that Calypso woman put something in the cookies?

((HAH! Yes, she probably did put something in the cookies.))

Kariya tried to follow the conversation but got lost, missing completely what was implied and just about everything else, except for when Xander spoke. For some reason, his voice seemed to catch his attention. Looking up, rather startled, he blinked. Why did he want to be secluded? Maybe he was just shy. Or maybe there was a better reason. He didn't really want to ask, because it may offend him. "Why are you going to shut up now?"

Kariya asked this to the elf girl, who seemed to be... well, he didn't quite know how to categorize the way she seemed to be. Noticing his other shoe was untied, he bent down and started to tie it. "First you cross the laces. Then you make a bunny. Then you make another bunny. Then the bunnies fight each other and end up all tangled up, making a bow. Then they fight again, making it a double bow." He stood up, satisfied, and brushed off his clothes. He was ready to go eat now, if anyone cared. Of course, he could wait if needed.

"Ok lets go." Ying said enthusiastically. It was time to get some food. Also she figured it was a good way to stop the weird conversation before it got any further. Within a few moments she was at the hall ordering her self some food. The girl looked back and didn't see anyone. Did she accidentally leave them behind? Maybe she ran without realizing it. Well it wasn't that far so they should catch up.

Jade was about to explain to the kid that she was going to shut up because she didn't have anything useful to say but the elf was cut off by the werewolf. "It's nothing really. come on lets go." She said following Ying. However the blond was sure to walk slow so the others could follow. Ying had just ran off probably with out even realizing she was going that fast. The girl needed to seriously lay off the chocolate she was going like 90 miles an hour. When the elf caught up to the werewolf she glared at the queen. "You do realize you just left some kids behind in your dust?"

"Oops. I guess i just got really excited." Ying said scratching the back of her head nervously.

Kariya swallowed. What a bunch of nuts. He wasn't in any big hurry, but he wasn't about to just wallow after slowly, anyways. And yet, he didn't trust that blonde elf. So he stood there and waited until she was out of sight, looking at Xander. He offered a smile. "If you think to hard, you'll hurt your brain. Only thinking doesn't kill brain cells, so you'll be alright in that department." The boy grinned and started walking toward the castle, stopping for a moment and looking back at Xander. "If you don't wanna go in there I can stay out here with you. Or I'll go in with you. And if people start being mean I'll kick their butts for you. Because we're friends. Right?" The blonde grinned happily and went back to stand by Xander. Maybe the boy would be awesome and get into a food fight with him or something like that. But, it was hard to tell. They seemed like complete opposites; Kariya loud, obnoxious, and a know-it-all, Xander shy, quiet, and rather confused about everything. They could accomplish a lot of things together, if they tried. If they didn't get sick of each other.
