Yang grumbled to himself and sat back down. He wasn't so sure what the guy had planned but he still had a bad feeling about it. "if say so."

Ying skipped happily toward Xander and removed the necklace. She then returned to Lucien and gave him an odd look. "So why the change of mind gramps? Just a little while ago you wanted to kill him."

Lucien studied the Hybrid quietly, waiting for it to react. It had to attack him; it had to. If it didn't it was either very smart or afraid of him. In response to Ying, Lucien decided he might speak. Perhaps it wouldn't be the truth, but it would be good enough. "My heart is still the same; I just thought that it might be... interesting... to see how Xander would act." Lucien had added the pause around interesting to be sure that the word was the one he was looking for.

Bob was waiting for Ying to get out of the way so he could charge at the prince. He wasn't going to harm the girl; she wasn't really all that bad. It was the prince he was worried about, maybe the brother. He was suspicious but he didn't seem to be all that bad. This being thought Bob stayed stationary, holding his position. He had the perfect plan. If he couldn't kill the prince, he would escape. Killing the boy made the most sense, but Escae could always be worth it.

Ying went and sat by her brother. "Ok then grandpa. I'll let you take charge." You really do worry to much. In fact i think your already starting to get gray hair. She teased her brother.

It i do, it's all your fault for making me constantly chase after you about everything. Yang retorted back. He studied both the hybrid and Lucien. Neither seemed trustworthy, but he especially didn't like how Lucien acted. His mood jumped around way to much and this made Yang concerned.

Xander wasn't sure about any of them yet, but he didn't want anything bad to happen. Although after some thought, he decided that he wouldn't mind if the prince were to get hurt. After all the queen probably would have killed him anyway if Xander had succeeded in catching him.

Bob grinned and shifted as Ying got out of the way, this time into the form of a dark, shadowy creature. It was a form that was mixed- dark angel and demon. This form had many advantages and it would be fun to try it out on the 'prince'. Bob charged the dark-haired man, eyes wild and ready. This wasn't going to fail. If it did, he'd really be in for it. Bob began to bring forth a large blue light, bright and neon-colored, swirlling around like a bunch of fireflies.

Lucien watched the Hybrid closely, taking careful note of the Hybrid's actions. What really took him by surprise was the fact that the little runt charged him as soon as Ying was out of his way. As quickly as he could Lucien shifted from Human to Werewolf, the beast ready to be used. His true werewolf form had come out, giving him russet brown fur and dark brown eyes. He braced himself for the collision; ready to dodge the blazing ball of blue light.

Ying gasped and was about to interfere but her brother held her back. "Let be go!" She cried out angrily. "We have to help, ..i can't believe Xander would do this."

"Well he didn't exactly make any promises did he? And i did warn you. Lucien will be fine, you would just get in his way." Yang said still holding on to his sister tightly. Something was off about the whole thing. The creature called Xander seemed different now. He went from timid and scared to something else in so little time. Ying i think there is more going on here then what were seeing. Maybe Xander is possessed or something, think about it. His attitude changes so drastically and so suddenly. It's not normal, something is going on with him.

Ying listened to her brothers words both the ones he spoke out and the ones he sent her telepathically. If this is true then why doesn't he fight? Surly he would have more control over his own body then someone else would. She didn't like how complicated things were getting. Everything was so much better when what you saw was how it was. She hated having to think through all this stuff. None the less she calmmed down a little, she still wanted to help somehow but she couldn't.

Bob was feeling more ostentatious than magnanimous, so after he collided with Lucien he immediatley regained his footing and hurled the ball of light to the human heir. After doing this he began to summon another, ready to ship it at anytime. As long as he stayed on the offensive he would be fine.

Lucien was stunned for a moment after the collision, considering how he flew and smacked into the wall with a sickening thud. Shaking it off quickly he stayed against the wall, waiting for the next attack. With his mind racing he quickly devised a plan. It should work and might even stop this battle.

Bob shipped the smaller ball of blue toward the prince, hitting him smack in the chest. Waiting for a moment before appraoching the prince he grinned viciously and stood in front of him, ready to speak. "You never would've amounted to anything anyways, mongrel. Consider it a favor what I'm doing- ending your life. You should enjoy it, for I can make it quick and virtually painless." With words cutting like broken glass the shadow creature turned back into his original form; the little innocent boy with white hair.

As the hybrid shifted Lucien's plan went into action. Suddenly the dark-haired prince jumped up and plowed into Xander, landing on top of him and placing a firm pale hand on top of his neck. In midair Lucien had shifted from the werewolf to the vampire, the reason why he had actually acquired a hand. "Normally only opossoms can play dead effectivley but I seem to have pulled it off flawlessly. You are the one who has been defeated, you are the one who will be in trouble."

Bob stared into Lucien's yellow eyes fearlessly, struggling to find oxygen. If only he could get another breath he could shift. He had been caught off guard and for the most part he was pretty screwed over. After a few more seconds Bob had passed out due to the lack of oxygen and the weight pressing down on him from Lucien's body mass.

Lucien got off the boy as soon as he was sure he'd passed out. Standing quickly the prince felt a bit ashamed of himself. Feeling melancholy he looked to the twins, face paler than normal even for a vampire. "Toss me the necklace?" Lucien's voice was low and quiet, hints of sadness and shame lingering in the air once he was done. The little twerp was too cocky, way to overconfident. Then again, Lucien had played sly little trick on the him....

(( Aww..XD How is Xander suppose to explain himself. lol *tries to imagine* That would be hard, no one would belive it.....oh and poor Lucien to of course. ))

Ying took the necklass and slipped it onto the unconcious boys neck. She stood there for a minute analysing everything in her mind. "Yang thinks the boy is posessed. Based on his sudden mood swings, it could be so. But then again we could almost say the same about you also Grandpa." She said turning to Lucien. Her usual smile gone and replaced with a concened and confused look. "This is so frusturating, why can't things ever be simple?"

Yang stayed where he was. He felt the same way as his sister. If only things were as black and white as he would like them to be. "You should sit down before you fall down." He said to Lucien. They guy wasn't looking that good. Personaly he just wanted everyone to leave. Yang didn't trust anyone here and he felt better when it was just him and his sister.

Xander stands in front of his counter part in the swirling black depths of his/ their mind. "You underestimated him Bob. You should have just waited for them to let us go. Now were going to die." He said.

-Somewhere, deep in the depth's of Xander's mind....-

"Hush, Xander. We aren't going to die. Whatever happens when we regain conciousness you're incontrol." Bob left it at that and began to ponder what had happened. Stupid prince. Next time they'd get 'em, when he was alone.

Lucien looked to Ying quietly, thinking of something to say. He'd have to choose his words carefully to explain what went on inside his mind. "I'm not possessed, I assure you. I have three different... minds... in my body. Normally they get along but occasionally they fight with each other, thus my frequent mood swings and seldom times my phsycotic outbreaks. Each of my 'minds' has a different outlook on life and a bit of a different personality." Lucien hoped he hadn't made it worse, but it was best to throw it out there and get it over with. That was the only way to explain it. Feeling a little dizzy and light-headed Lucien sat on the ground, holding his head in his hands.

Ying sighed irritatedly. "I see, I suppose that makes some sense. Still rather confusing though. " She sat down by Lucien. "But i suppose that means there is more of you to love, hey grandpa." She said smiling once again.


Xander slowly began to regain consciousness. He didn't remember exactly what happened except that Bob tried to hurt the prince. He put his hand to his neck area feeling it to see if anything was broken. It was fine just bruised and a little swollen. Xander sat up, avoiding looking at the others. He wasn't sure what to say, how could he explain to them that it wasn't him.

"Yeah, I guess you could say that." Lucien looked to Ying quizzically, lost in thought due to her words. Exhaling deeply as Xander sat up Lucien restrained himself from reacting violently. He needed to learn to keep his anger under control. This could possibly be the first step toward that goal. Holding his tongue and refusing to move he just sat there in utter silence. He wasn't going to be one to screw this up. He wasn't going to say anything. He was going to hold a grudge, though. That was never going to change.

Yang got up and walked over to the hybrid his face expressionless. "I have no idea who you are or what is going on but clearly your dangerous. As much as i would like to give you a chance, i just can't. " He looked at his sister. "Sorry i know you want to help and be friends with everyone but i can't risk your safety. It's time we leave this place."

Ying got up and sighed. " I suppose." She didn't like it, part of her wanted to stay but her brother was right. "Well grandpa. I'll see you around."

Xander looked up giving the twins a hurt look. "it's not what you think... i'm sorry... it's just..." But he was got off by a fierce glare from the male twin. He looked away again.

Both twins walked toward the exit of the cave stealing quick looks back. They cared about the other two but they just couldn't trust them. And they had to do what was right for them...... because no one else would.

((Twins are leaving. It's just Xander and Lucien. ))

((Ruh-roh. ))

Lucien watched as the two left, thinking for a moment. He debated on leaving himself but decided against it. Something inside him wanted to crack and forgive the boy, wanted to show Xander kindness. The majority of his mind was thinking differently, wanting to take the upper hand and attack the hybrid. With his mind torn apart he just sat there, motionless. Being a vampire he didn't need to breathe. Wanting to break the silence he finally spoke, his voice deep and low, quiet and rushed, filled with true compassion and feeling. The words seemed to just pour out of his mouth, wanting to get it over with.

"I know how you feel. Your mind divided, your body torn. It's a very unpleasant feeling." Lucien figured that Xander's mind was similar to his own as it was composed of various races. It was a lucky guess, something that didn't nessacarily need to be replied to. Right now Lucien was not expecting anything, not wanting to converse, not really wanting to do anything. It would be better if he could just escape to his little shack and sleep, but something was keeping him here. It was probably meant to be, otherwise it wouldn't have happened.

(( YAY XD Bonding time for Lucien and Xander....or perhaps the escape. Because he does have to return to the queen in order to make the other rp with Astareal relevant. ))

Xander sat motionless on the floor. He wanted to make a run for it but the prince was in the way. When Xander heard what the prince said he gave him a surprised look. He didn't expect the guy who wanted to kill him to say such a thing. Xander looked around the gave to see if there was an opining somewhere he could use to get out. His mind was racing trying to think of something, anything that would help him get out. Xander didn't want to stay there in case the Prince decided to kill him after all.

Lucien studied the Hybrid, trying to read his expressions. Thinking for a moment the prince stood and strutted over to the mouth of the cave, peering out. "Well, I'll be going now. But I must warn you, buddy. If I see you again I might end up hurting you, so try to avoid me at all costs. Don't come back and try to kill me; it wouldn't be very smart." Lucien looked to Xander and winked, dissappearing out the door. As he walked he tried to stay in the shadows, slowly making his way back to his house to see whether or not he could find anymore info in the diaries he possessed.

Xander waits a few minutes to make sure the prince is really gone. Then he grabs the cloak the twins gave him and wraps it around himself. Casously and slowly he leaves through the exit. Knowing he wouldn't be able to stay away from the prince as the queen would likly send him after Lucien again, if of course she didn't kill him.
