Bumblebees and Pollenation

"You do?" Lucien felt like an idiot. He shook his head, just for the heck of it. Perhaps she wasn't as stupid as he thought she was. He knew that if he would've said that, Alea probably would've punched him. Which is why he didn't say that stuff aloud. "You noticed that? I consist of three different races. Human, Vampire, and..." Lucien shifted into his actual werewolf form, short and stocky. He growled, then shifted into his human-werewolf form. "Werewolf. Your a purebred elf, right? Purebreeds normally involve incest. If you know what the is," This was going to become an annoying little game, he could tell.

Alea resisted the urge to drag her hand down her face. "Of course I know what that is.... Why do you care anyway?"

"Do I seem like I care? Because really, I don't." LLucien hoped he was bing annoying. he enjoyed it today. Perhaps she'd get mad and smack him? That'd be funny. Even he would end up laughing at himself. The man ate some more of the icy treat and plopped down in the grass. It was nice to take a break and relax every now and again.

Alea sat next to him. Not knowing what to say next, she took another bite. Finally she asked, "So, where do you come from?"

"My mom. But if that isn't what you're asking, then I come from over by the Murky River and the Fatal Forest. I grew up near the castle." Lucien had finished his treat and then flopped backwards, grinning. That was satisfing.

Alea chuckled softly. "That's interesting. Since my parents died when I was young, I've lived in the forest."

"Normally I don't associate with the elven, or the fairy, people. I tend to hang around no one. I'm a bit of a loner. That, and I've came from a... messed up lineage." Lucien grinned. Perhaps she had heard of him from someone. Lucien shifted a little, getting comfortable in the soft, squishy grass. It sure was nice here. Alea wasn't too annoying, so that shouldn't be a problem. Perhaps he should reveal his true name? Nah.

"Ah, I see." Alea wasn't very good with small talk. "I always used to be a loner. But then I met Armageddon. Since then, I try to make new friends. You never know who you might run into."

"That's for sure." Lucien had to agree. Jade, Ying, and Yang were all a bunch of silly people. Silly not in the literal meaning of the word. Silly as in different. But Jack and Liam were definitley not normal. Calypso... she was something else. He hadn't made many a new friend lately, but he did know a few more people. That was always a good thing... as long as they didn't get the wrong impression.

"Yea... So... what brings you out here anyway?" Alea lay on the grass and looked up at the sky. She saw many shapes in the clouds including one that looked like a puppy...

"I don't have a specific reasoning. I just like the way everything is so pecaeful. Compared to other things, this is really nice. Why did you come with me?" Answer a question with a question. He had obeyed that for the millionth time at that moment. It was best to keep going that way. Conversation usually followed, and no one died of boredom.

Alea shruged. "I don't know. I was bored I guess. Why did you invite me?"

"That's beside the point. I invited you because I was bored." There was the end of that conversation. Lucien grinned. What to talk about now? Perhaps he could start being creepy and try to scare her away? He scootched a little closer and grinned. "So then... you're single?" Begin the creepiest conversation of her lifetime. Or so Lucy hoped.

Alea wasnt phased. "Well... technically yes... but I'm kind of in llove with someone. I'm just waiting for him to make a move."

Lucien laughed, blinking rapidly. "I know how that is. I'm in the same situation. It's funny because, sometimes, you have to be the first one to make a move. The guy isn't always brave enough to do it." Lucien brushed his bangs out of his face and looked at the elf. Perhaps she had a bit more in common with him than he had previously imagined. In which case, he would halt being creepy for a while.

"Yea. I learned that the hard way. I don't think he likes me back though..." Alea wondered why she was so open to this man.
