Alea smirked. "Well whatever it is, I'm sure we can handle it. I mean with a water elemental here and all." Just then, a rusleing came from behind the.

Aramgeddon snorted. He doubted that he could hurt anything, unless it hurt someone. Unless it was self defense. In which case, it normally was. Ambrosia was his only acception to that fact. The boy jumped a little when the rustling could be heard and sat up, brushing the dirt off his back. Standing up slowly, he looked at the bushes. Ready for anything... or so he thought.

Alea stood beside Armageddon waiting for the creature to pop out of its hiding place. She grabbed her bow and knocked it with an arrow.

Armageddon looked at Alea curiously. Someone was prepared. He didn't really care, he had a bunch of water behind him. The boy got ready. A small bear cub came out of the woods, stumbling forward. "Don't move." Sure, it looked harmless, but wherever there was a cub, the mother wasn't far behind. Sure enough, the mother bear ambled out of the woods and sniffed her baby. There was something that wasn't quite right about those two...

Alea didn't heed Armageddon's warning. She didn't see why she should not move. She lowered her bow and set it on the ground. "Aww, she's so cute!" She exclaimed at the sight of the baby. The mother came out and suddeny felt someting wrong. She didn't didn't know why, but it just wasn't right.

Armageddon looked at Alea for a moment, debating on talking. "I'm sorry, but you just don't march right up to a wild animal and pet it. Especially with a baby." The elemental shook his head, but noticed the bear glaring at him. Oh, great. First a bird hits him, and then a bear gets mad... what else could happen? The boy sighed and looked at the ground. He had the strange feeling that all animal hated him. The bear growled and nudged the baby toward the woods.

Alea smiled. "Sorry, I can't help it. I'm an animal person. When I see one, I feel an urge to go up to it." She didn't know what else to say, it was ture. The bear ambled towards them slowly after her cub was a safe distance away. "What do we do now? I don't want to hurt the poor thing. It's probibly just tring to protect her cub."

Armageddon didn't move an inch, body wise. "I have no idea. What are you supposed to do? Give it a fish and run away? Beat it on the head with a stick? Drown it? Stick it between the eyes with an arrow? That wouldn't do much..." Aramgeddon trailed off. This was horrible. An evil bear was approaching and he didn't know waht to do. Perhaps the animal lover could come up with something. He wanted to run, but that'd be horrible. Probably the worst thing he could do.

Alea thought for a moment. "Hmm... I wonder..." She made her way slowly up to the animal not caring what Armaggedon might say to her. When she was just beond arm's length, she held out her hand to the bear to let it sniff it.

Armageddon shook his head in disbelief. Was she that nuts? Really? You don't just walk up to a random wild animal and try to pet it... and if the thing hurt her he'd have to kill it. He didn't like it when others got hurt, especially Ambrosia. Physical pain was one thing, whilst emotional was another. The boy continued to shake his head. That bear was going to bite her friggin' hand off!

After the bear got used to her scent, she slowly reached her arm around the bear's big head and pet its fluffy fur. She didn't know why, but she sat down, laid her hear against the bear's, and closed her eyes. It felt as if she became one with the bear. "Why are you here?" She silently asked the bear.
"I smelled an elemental." It replyed.
Alea chuckled a litle. "That would be my friend, Armageddon. Does he smell that bad?"
The bear emitted a noise that could be taken as a laugh. "No, not that bad. Wanted to protect daughter."
Alea nodded. "I thought so. You don't have to worry about us, we're your friends." Alea opened her eyes and stood up. The bear turned around and slowly ambled back into the forest. She turned back to face Armageddon.

Armageddon's eye twitched. "Were you seriously just having a pleasant conversation with a bear?" The boy tried as hard as he could to keep his voice controllled. He shook his head, and studied the girl. She was chock full oif surprises. "I would hate to be the one who underestimate4d that devious little mind of yours." The boy summoned a little ball of water and messed around wuith it in his hands.

Alea chuckled at this. "I suppose you're right. In fact, I had no idea I could do that untill now. It was quite interesting." A thought struck her. "Oh you might want to bathe more. The bear could smell you a mile away."

Armageddon's jaw dropped. "I'm a bloody water elemental! It's impossible for me to stink! That bear is nuts in the head! He's a loony! Born and raised! That's it; if you ever talk to animals around me again, I'm leaving." The boy had officially decided that he didn't like animals. That every bear he saw would be smacked. He hadn't intended for the outburst, but he looked at Alea. He had just thrown a fit. "Sorry about that. I should've yelled at the bear."

Alea raised her eyebrows at Armageddons speach. "Ummm....... okay then..." She wondered what had made him snap. Alea smiled and muttered, "Well, not to burst you're bubble or anything, but you do smell...."

"You're smelling yourself, kid. It's virtually impossible for me to smell. Do you really want me to strip right here, whip out a bar of soap, and wash?" Armageddon was searching for answers, his blue eyes intent. He studied the elf, curious. There was no way that he could possibly stink. That was just... crazy.
