The shakey Egg (Open)

Zurth raised his eye brow in confusion. He didn't see anything, but he just continued to walk forward staying quiet. He watched Garoth play with the water. Getting close to it as it went back to sea, then running away from the water as it came back to shore.

Keykku blinked furiously, but the object remained in her sight. How could she be the only one to see it? "Maybe I'm just hallucinating." Thinking about this for a moment, she shoved all thoughts of the object to the back of her mind. Normally what she saw was real, but it was possible for tricks to be played on anyone's mind. Looking to Zurth she smiled lightly, mischievously, and kept walking forward. That smile normally meant she was up to something, and as her eyes brightened and eyebrows rose slightly, it was official. Keykku was definitely up to something.

Finn stared at Keykku, instantly noticing the slight change in her stride. Even looking at the back of the blonde's head, she could tell something bad may be in the near future. Looking in the direction that Keykku had pointed in just a few moments ago, the dragon could also make out an object in the distance. It looked like a fallen tree, so it shouldn't be of any harm. Or could it be? Noticing she'd stopped, the little dragon hurried to catch up to the others.

Zurth shrugged, and kept walking forward. He took another bite of his apple, before throwing it into the ocean to float away. Garoth began to chase his tail. Zurth just smiled and continued to walk forward. Keykku had this weird smile on her face. Zurth was worried, but didnt want to know what she was thinking

Keykku stopped abruptly, smile disappearing from her face. Her eyes widened, listening hard for that noise again. Perhaps she was going crazy. Sure enough the noise came again, from the direction of the object. Starting off in a beeline toward the object, Finn was soon beside her. As the blonde placed her left hand on the hilt of her sword, she ran toward the object. There had to be something there! There had to be. She wasn't crazy.

As she approached the object she slowed, taking each step cautiously. It seemed to be the body of a man; still and lifeless. A noise had come from over here, she knew it. It had sounded like a growl. Slowly walking around the man's body, she realized that he'd been shot. Multiple arrows, various places. "Finn, any archers around?" Keykku began to think, wondering whether or not to just let it be.

Fingers playing with the hilt of her sword she began to listen. The noise had to have came from over here. Thinking for a moment, she stared at the ground. She wanted a stick, to poke it with. See if there was any life left in him. Biting her lower lip she turned, left foot getting closer to the seemingly dead body. Finn was occupied with her task of finding any danger, and missed the body reach out it's hand and latch onto Keykku's ankle.

Keykku flinched and looked down at her foot, wanting to scream. Grinding her teeth, she didn't know what to do, either because he seemed dead or the fact that she was shocked nearly to death. Reaching down to pry his hand off her foot, Keykku's left hand was now taken prisoner and she was yanked to the ground. This wasn't scary at all, nope, she was totally prepared for this. Finn had noticed and was quite shocked herself, staring in surprise and blinking furiously.

Zurth ran after Keykku, Garoth running on Zurth's feet. Zurth lost keykku for a moment, but then saw Finn looking at something. Zurth made his way through the thick green bush, and saw Keykku on the ground. He thought for a moment. "A friend of yours?" Zurth smiled, and looked at the badly injured man. "I think theres only one way to help this man..."

Zurth drew his fathers sword, and poked the man in the eye with the tip of his blade. "You alive?" Garoth watched curiously. Slowly pacing back and forth watching with serious intent. Zurth could only begin to wonder who this man was, why was he laying on the ground with keykku, and if this man should live if he still is alive.

"Friend?" Keykku whimpered, staring at the seemingly dead stranger's face. "Never seen him. Never knew him. Don't like him, whoever he is." Keykku's eyes were wild and frightened, wishing she could draw her sword and shishkabob the stranger right where he lay. When she got up, she promised herself she'd do just that. Finn sat there and stared, eyes glazed over and filled with hatred and wonderment. "Perhaps you should cut off his hand? Or his arm? He doesn't really smell all that pleasant, you know." Keykku mumbled, staring at her hand, the only thing keeping her on the ground. She didn't want to pull away, thinking that it may damage her wrist.

Zurth knelled down beside the two. "Oh damn, i wanted to be the first one you slept next to" Zurth laughed a bit, and smiled. He raised his sword, and cut off the mans head. "Pull away now. He should be dead." Zurth smiled at her, and looked at Garoth who was still pacing.

Keykku watched as Zee cut off the stranger's head, replying to living man's comment as she stared bug-eyed at the body. "Well then I guess you're in luck, due to the fact that I wasn't sleeping. Although you could probably say that he is." After forcing herself to ignore the body, she pulled her hand away rather violently and stood slowly. "That wasn't the creepiest, most disgusting thing that's happened to me in my life." Keykku felt like running off and scrubbing her hand until it was numb.

"Thanks for killing him." The blonde stared at Zurth, thankful and amazed that he actually had helped her. Most of the men she knew wouldn't have cared and would've let her lay there until she figured out what to do herself.

"You saying I have a chance of sleeping with you?" Zurth paused for a second, and thought about what he just said. He shrugged about it. Zurth smiled, "Trust me, some day your going to look back at this and laugh" Garoth sat down from pacing tired already. He looked at his father's sword. His fathers old sword, it was covered in blood from the strangers decapitated head. "You ok? Do you need a hug?" Zurth put his sword back into it's hilt, and opened his arms, with a smile.

Finn glared at Zurth when he made that comment. That was not going to put him on her most liked list. Keykku just stared, kind of confused. She wasn't going to reply to that, considering she only had a faint idea of what the words meant. Blinking five times in rapid succesion, she began to think about accepting that hug. She didn't need it, but it would be a source of comfort. "You can hug me, but I'm not moving." Keykku said this somewhat playfully, eyes gleaming in the light. A half smile appeared on her face, seeming to lighten the mood. It was neary impossible for her to stay in a dark mood for more than five minutes.

Zurth walked towards her, and hugged her. He grinned, and picked her up while they were in there weird hug. "No moving? I guess ill just sit here holding you then" Garoth watched with a smile. Zurth started to whistle while still holding her.

Keykku grinned lightly as he picked her up, not knowing what else to do. "I have another question." The blonde blinked once and wondered if she should get his permission to ask first. Thiking about it for a moment, she decided to wait until she had the go ahead. Finn stared, quiet and moody, watching Zurth and Keykku patiently. That girl was so full of questions that it was kind of interesting where thay all came from.

"What's your question?" Zurth looked at her with a smile, then down at the dead guy, then at Finn, then at Garoth. Who seemed to have fallen asleep in the grass area. Zurth began to whistle which he only did every so often of when he was nervous.

"Forgive me if this offends you in some way, but I was just wondering why you wore a hood. Is there a reason, really?" Keykku asked this quietly, hoping that it wouldn't hurt Zurth's feelings. She was beginning to like him, and she didn't want to ruin that. His whistling was nice, and it somehow seemed to calm her down. This could be her chance at a friend who would actually talk to her. Finn wasn't much for conversation, but perhaps she'd talk more as she matured. It was hard to tell, but Keykku had high hopes for the dragon.

Zurth smiled, "I wear my wood, because it keeps the my eyes out of the sun, and my head out of the rain." Zurth looked around, and he realized he didnt know where he was, but he almost never knew where he was, But this time he didn't care, because he was happy for once.

Keykku looked at Zurth quietly, not saying anything for a moment. For the first time, she welcomed her thoughts, and let them take over her mind momentarily. Taking a few seconds to snap out of it, she finally thought of something to say. "Do you think you could take the hood off for a moment? I kind of want to look at your eyes, see your whole face. Again, you don't have to if you don't want to." Keykku shook her head lightly as she finished. Finn rotated slightly, getting comfortable enough to doze off to sleep.
