The shakey Egg (Open)

Zurth smiled, "Well if all you need is yourself to have fun, what am I for?" He looked into the cloud covered sky. "They do, don't they?" Looking at the clouds just makes you want to be up there for yourself, don't they?"

"I never said that you weren't fun." Keykku laughed and stared up at the sky, wondering about what clouds were made of and how they were made. "I think I'd rather be down here. I mean, clouds are nice and all, but I like keeping my feet on solid ground." It was much more comfortable to have both feet flat on the ground rather than be up high.

"So when the time comes, and your dragon becomes an adult, your not going to fly?" Zurth sat up, and looked at her. "I would love to see you in the sky with me someday." Zurth stopped talking, and looked at her

Keykku thought about Zurth's question long and hard before looking to him as his comment emerged. Thinking for another short moment, she answered the question. "I have trust in Finn, and I'd be willing to give flying a shot. It probably wouldn't go over well with my stomach, though." After saying this, the blonde looked to Zurth thoughtfully, wondering if she should reply to his comment. After having no words come into her head she decided not to say anything else. Not until she felt like talking, at least.

Zurth sat their quietly, she couldn't handle flight in air? He was kinda confused, and he's never heard about a Dragon Rider that couldn't take the height, or the speed. He didnt know what she'd get sick about.

Keykku had flown once, with her brother. Phillip had invited her to go, took off, and scared her to death. This was the main reason she was afraid of heights, the reason she would be getting sick. Perhaps if she wouldn't have been seven it would've been a bit more of a pleasant experience. Getting away from her thoughts she shook her head twice, blinked eight times, and looked to the ground. "My brother pretty much ruined any joy that would come from flying for me."

"Well maybe I can make it worth your wild" Zurth gave a smile and laid back down. He wasn't as tired as he was earlier but he was still a little tired. In a while he'd have full energy to do anything. Garoth ran to Zurth and shook all the cold water off his scales, onto Zurth. Zurth jumped up as fast as he could and laughed.

Keykku giggled slightly and sat up, looking to her feet. This was turning out to be a good day, hopefully it would stay that way. Standing up slowly Keykku surveyed the area, trying to see if there was any change in the surroundings. It was best to always be on high alert, as the girk had learned years past. Finn was distracted by a large blue butterfly, chasing after the bug like a dog would chase it's tail. The butterfly was too stupid to go any higher, so Finn would be occupied till the bug grew a brain.

Keykku watched the butterfly for a moment before laughing and shaking her head lightly. "So..." There was nothing really to be said at the moment, the blonde at a loss for words.

"Yea..." Zurth didn't know what to say. He was out of words. He looked at Garoth who was watching Finn play with a butterfly. Zurth was curious too. The serious dragon was doing something quite playful.

Keykku shrugged and looked to the ocean, smiling to herself. Finn was the one being an idiot now. Getting a twitch in her leg Keykku spun around, eyes darting back and forth over the sand. Senses all kicking in, she could swear that someone was around here somewhere. Whoever it was, they were more than likely not welcome. Hands settling on the blonde's hips, they were comfortable here. The sword was in easy reach and the pose seemed somewhat dangerous, at least in Keykku's opinion.

"I'm beginning to get a bad feeling."

Zurth looked at her, and thought she looked cute with her hands on her hips. He raised his eyebrow, and looked around. He was relaxed and didn't want to get into anything right now. He was enjoying his time with Keykku. "What do you mean? Do you see something?"

Keykku stared at the sand and shook her head, thinking for a moment. Why did this always have to happen? The feeling at the bottom of her stomach told her to get out of there as fast as she could. Never had she listened to that feeling before, always to willing to have an adventure. "I don't see anything but I do happen to have a feeling that something may be coming." Eyes searching the horizon wildly, Keykku looked to Finn and scrunched her eyebrows together. Finn stopped chasing the butterfly and focused on the horizon, then looked to Keykku with a blank expression.

"Maybe it's just me." Keykku said this flatly, no emotion entwined with the words. Eyes dimming down a little she looked away from that area and began scanning the cliffs that bordered the beach. Nothing caught her eye, but the feeling held her tightly. It had her concentrating on finding the source of danger. Being this way, she wasn't really listening or paying attention to anything else.

Zurth stood up and scanned the entire area, checking the sky first. His neck all the way up scanning. He caught some bird movements, but he never say anything of a true threat. Garoth sniffed the ground, Curious of what he was smelling.

Keykku saw movement on the cliff; not really a threat. It could've been anything, after all. Eyes locked on the place where there was movement the girl stared, feeling kind of strange. For some odd reason she felt like she was connected to the thing that roamed along the top of the cliff. Searching for any sign of movement she gave up and turned away. It was nothing. The feeling had diminished and left, making her want to sit there and figure out why it had been there in the first place.

Dropping the thought into her mental recycling bin, Keykku looked to Zerth and shrugged. "I guess it was nothing, I mean..." The next word was interupted by a loud explosion the the North, the direction of the cliff. Finn whirled around and stared now, curious and intrigued. Keykku had a blank and slightly horrified expression on her face, not really wanting to turn around. "Now we're in for it." This was mumbled by the blonde as she stared at the sky, making her self resist the urge to turn around.

Zurth shrugged, and looked at her. The explosion caught his ear, and he looked from where the sound had come from. Garoth did too. Zurth looked at Keykku, and then back to the north. He was curious of what was about to happen.

Keykku looked ahead, thinking for a moment. Being consumed by her sense of curiousity Keykku spoke up. "I say we go check it out and see what's going on. I mean, it can't be that dangerous. Someone could be in trouble, and it's something to do. Perhaps something good would come out of it." Finn stared at Keykku like she was speaking a foriegn language. It was very clear that the black dragon thought that to be a bad idea.

Keykku stared at Finn and turned to the cliff, wondering and thinking about her idea. It sounded good to her. Since when had her curiousity gotten her killed? She was still alive, wasn't she? Staring at the cliff there was a smaller explosion and a shout. The curiousity was overwhelming and Keykku was ready to get up there and figure out what was going on.
