A Relaxing Evening (Yumi)

Armageddon glared at Ambrosia. "See! Now he thinks you're gunna hit him!" As if proving a point Armageddon flailed his arms around wildly, enjoying the scenario. Looking back to the boy Armageddon forced a smile. "People around here are idiots sometimes. I hope you can forgive them for their stupidity." While saying this the boy looked to his sister, smirking. He did enjoy doing this to her.

Ambrosia stared at her brother, holding her tongue. She didn't want to make this worse, did she? Thinking for a moment she continued to stay quiet. One thing was for sure, she didn't know how her brother managed to stay quiet for so long. Normally the kid didn't talk much but apparently she had harassed him enough about that. Smiling to herself she studied the boy again, trying to ignore her brother. Pretty soon she was going to have to say something or else she would explode.

Forgivness..... wasn't that when you forget and accept the bad things people have done. And not let it bother you again. Xander recognized the word, he had ask the queen for it many times before. It didn't get him any were : 'You being sorry won't change that you failed me' she would say before punishing him. To be honest he doubted very much that those guys were even sorry, so why should he forgive them or anyone else? His anger flared as he thought about this. "no, i won't." he said his eyes gleaming. He felt like how he usually did when bob was in control. Except Bob wasn't this time, this was his anger. Xander turned his back to the two trying to calm down before he or Bob did something stupid.

The twins raised eyebrows in syncronization. Ambrosia glared at the kid and turned her back to him, making agitated little noises. She didn't like this kid anymore. There wasn't a reason for it; earth said that the kid was annoying and that it didn't like it so fire, water, and wind played along. Earth was the smarter one out of the four elements that inhabited Ambroisa, the one that was listened to the most. "You have to learn to forgive, kid. If you don't you'll just hold grudges and if you hold grudges your blood cells will expand and blow up." Ambrosia walked away from her brother and the boy, walking with her eyes closed. Within five seconds she ended up ramming into a tree.

Armageddon listened to his sister and then watched her walk away. As she crashed into a tree he managed to hold back a laugh and keep a straight face. Ambrosia's stupidity was unmatched. "And that is qhy you walk with your eyes open." Armageddon studied his sister, wondering if he should go and help her. She wondered why she couldn't get rid of him and that was one of the main reasons; her lack of enough sense to keep her from getting hurt.

"What are they?" Xander asked when the girl talked about something called red blood cells. He turned to face them once again his anger gone as quickly as it came, now he was just curoius. He guessed they had something to do with blood but he wasn't sure what. Them exploding sounded painful though. Without even thinking he asked "Is that what happens to you" He figured it had something to do with her odd behavior and was just curious about it. But after he had said it he immidiatly wished he didn't.

Armageddon studied the boy, amazed at his lack of education. "You don't know what blood cells are? Well..." Armageddon searched for the right words as he tried to explain what they were. "There are two kinds; red blood cells and white blood cells. Your blood consists of both of them. White blood cells fight off disease and the red blood cells are the things that keep you alive... right?" Armageddon began to think again, wondering if his explanation was correct. If it wasn't Ambrosia could always explain it, if she knew how to.

Ambrosia listened to her brother speak, after he was finished she listened to the boy. Becoming furious when he asked her if that was what happened to her blood cells she stomped her foot and huffed. "My blood cells are perfectly normal, thank you very much." Ambrosia's voice was thick with sarcasm, staring at Xander with emoitonless eyes. A few seconds after she dropped the thought and went back to her normal self. She held grudges herself but it she wasn't afraid of her blood cells exploding. Could that actually happen?

Xander gave the other boy a confused look. "sorry i still don't understand." Trying to figure out this was just making his head hurt, or maybe that was just from hitting the tree earlier. Either way it was very odd, he wondered where these people got that information from. Xander backed away a bit when the girl got angry, she was quite scary.

Armageddon shook his head, finding this a bit hopeless. He wondered if the boy could read or write. Apparently Xander had been kept dumb for a reason. It would be a challenge to teach the boy and it would be a rather fun challenge. If they started with more of the basics.... "Can you count to ten?" It would be nice if the kid could, even if the question made Armageddon feel stupid himself. The water elemental studied the boy quietly, gnawing on his lip.

Ambrosia looked over her brother and Xander, deciding that they were both extremely boring. Exhaling loudly she turned and walked over a little ways away from the two. Now could be a valuable time to practice with her elements. Not the fury, of course, but wind and earth did need a little touching up. Earth had begun to resist her, not really wanting to listen anymore. She figured that if the little bugger was worked with more it would want to cooperate.

Xander watched the girl go. "Did i say something wrong?" He asked. Concerned that something he said might have offended the girl. When asked if he could count to ten he nodded. Of course he could count, it was important. Often he would be sent on missions to observe rebel uprisings and report their numbers to the queen. Xander sat down and watched the other boy. Wondering what was going through his mind.

Armageddon studied the boy, his eyes sparkling with curiousity. "No, of course she's not mad. She's probably just going to do some random little thing or something. I take it you know the alphabet?" Armageddon felt like he was being a bit nosy but was more concerned with how much the boy knew. The water elemental liked feeling smarter than people. He did enjoy reading in his spare time. Armageddon spared a look toward his sister before looking back to Xander.

Ambrosia plopped on the ground and began to concentrate on bringing the ground benath her up. Trying as hard as she could she finally managed to get it about two feet in the air before letting it drop back into the earth. A smile croosed her face as she did it again, the link between her and this piece of the earth growing stronger by the second. Perhaps this would make other things easier. With the andrenaline she felt fighting against someone it was much easier to control the elements. er mind worked faster and they obeyed. It would be horrible when she lost her powers again on her next birthday.

"You mean like writing?" Xander asked. It was kind of frightening to find out just how much he missed out on. And how much other people knew. He didn't like this feeling at all, he felt ashamed. How could he not know any thing? Surly there was something useful he learned. Xander stood up and pretended to be occupied watching the wildlife in the trees.

Armageddon thought about this for a moment. The writing alphabet... the letter alphabet... they were the same thing. You had to know your letters in order to write. "Yes. That's what I mean." The elemental stayed in thought, wondering what he did mean. The kid probably had street smarts rather than book smarts. That and he was young. Armageddon thought about this and, all the same, still wanted to ask Xander more questions just to see how much he could attempt to teach him.

Ambrosia was having fun going up and down, up and down, feeling like she was on a rollercoaster. It was actually rather fun to mess around with the elements. Next she could probably try to make a cloud like Armageddon but she doubted that would happen. She could do it but her clouds didn't function as well and normally tried to disobey her and get caught up in an opposing gust of wind. When they did that it made Ambrosia want to punch a kitten... sometimes a baby.

"then no" Xander said. This was getting a little awkward and a little boring. His mind was already filled with things he had to think about, he didn't really need more. The boy looked around the forest, it was nice here. He let his mind wander and stared blankly in front of him. No longer paying attention to what the elemental was saying. Sometimes he felt this was the only way for him to really escape from his problems.

Armageddon stood in thought, hoping he was annoying at least one of the two. Ambrosai seemed to be having fun moving her rock around, and it would be a bit entertaining to annoy her rather than to bug the crap out of Xander. Ambrosia was a fun person to pick on. Armageddon turned from the boy and created a little cloud, grinning. Clambering up on top of his little ball of fluff he folded his arms and looked to Ambrosia. "I'd perfected making clouds when I was 10." A smirk crossed the boy's face as he ascended a little higher into the sky.

Ambrosia stared at her brother and continued to move her rock. He was annoying. "You're really stupid. My clouds are better, anyways." Ambrosia stood up and focused, bringing out the wind and water and trying to fuse them together. Finally making a tiny cloud she began to add to it, finally ending up with a decent sized little thing. "Ha! I made one too." Ambrosia hopped onto the cloud, smiling as it stayed up in the air.

Xander just watched the two his expression a mix of wonder and confusement. What were they up to? And why did they seem to enjoy annoying each other. It was very odd, but then he decided they must have been friends or related. People who were close to one another seemed to fight the most. He thought the clouds were cool and wished he could do that. They looked comfortable, like giant pillows.

Armageddon zoomed forward, his current of air steady and controlled. A wicked grin was held on his face, showing his emotions wonderfully. Looking to Xander Armageddon created a smaller cloud, for the boy. "You can ride it if you want to. It would be more fair for Ambrosia if I ran two clouds. They are quite fun." Patting his own cloud the boy looked back to his sister, his eyes challenging her to a race.

Ambrosia returned her brother's stare, her blue eyes furious and ready. "Honestly. I'll win and you know it. Where are we going?" Ambrosia kept her eyes focused on Xander, creating little steps in the earth leading up to her brother's second cloud for the boy. It would be easier for him to board the little white puff.

Xander smiled when the other boy created him a cloud. "thanks." he said to both of them as he climbed on. It was as soft and cuddly as he imagined. "how do you guys do this?" He asked curiously. Maybe if he knew how they did it he could learn to do it to. He didn't really care about who would win the race, it just sounded fun. It was a strange and exciting feeling. the hybrid had seen a lot of kids his age having fun but never being able to join them. It was nice to finally be able to experience something he never had before. Hopefully nothing would happen to ruing it.
