A Relaxing Evening (Yumi)

Ambrosia walked into the Inn, grinning wildly, allowing herself to be drug inside by the man she had met only minutes before. He seemed charming enough... And he had offered to buy her a drink. She wasn't going to turn that down. Armageddon had advised her against it but she'd ignored him, as always. Ambrosia sat down near the man and began sipping a water, refusing the alcoholic beverage at first. She scanned everyone in the bar area, wondering what might come of this. Studying the man she quietly continued sipping the drink, trying to figure out more about him.

Armageddon had went into the inn behind Ambrosia, eyeing her with disgust. He couldn't see how the girl trusted a creeper like that. Going past the bar he went to the counter and got a room, pocketing the key. After doing this he went over to the dining area and sat down at a table, all alone. When the waiter came over Armageddon ordered his food and sat there patiently waiting for the arrival of the food, drumming his fingers on the table impatiently. It would be nice if they actually had a little entertainment here. Shaking his head he began to mess around with the water in his cup, twisting it around and playing with it. This would keep him occupied for a little while.


((It wasn't massive, but I think it's long enough...))

Suddenly a man burst in to interrupt the quiet scene his voice filled with a mix of excitement and anger. "Hey everyone look what we found out side. It's one of those dam hybrids. Here spying for the nymphs no doubt." He motioned for the crowed to follow. He wanted to make a spectacle and an inn full of drunks was just the place to get it. Outside a bunch of people were holding down a strange creature that constantly changed, trying to find a way to slip their grasps.

Xander came to this place because it was dark and he didn't expect anyone to be out that late. But he was wrong, he stopped to ask some guy for directions to a place where Xander would be able to work. However when the man saw the mark on his neck, him and his buddy's immediately jumped on him and pinned him down. They clearly weren't fans of hybrids either big surprise. He didn't even get a chance to explain that he wasn't there to cause harm. Oh well they probably wouldn't have believed him anyway.

Ambrosia studied the men holding the small boy, rage filling her features. Being an elemental she didn't like the way they talked about the nymphs. It was an innocent little boy, not a play thing. Standing she slammed her glass on the counter and burst out. "Are you absoluetly retarded? Don't you have a brain? Drop the kid now that way when I kill you he isn't hurt. UNHAND HIM!" Her tone was threatening and dangerous, filled with hatred for the men. The man at her side tugged at her shirt and she smacked his hand away, glaring at him. Her blue eyes were cloudy and filled revealed her emotions rather well.

As soon as Armageddon heard Ambrosia's voice everything went quiet. Armageddon stood and went out into the bar area, seeing Ambrosia standing and a few men holding onto a shape-shifter. "Ambrosia. Sit down." Armageddon's voice was stern, commanding. He studied his sister quietly, hoping she would calm herself and sit down. He hated being related to a bipolar tetra elemental.

Ambrosia looked to her brother, not caring what she said or did. "They have a Hybrid and they are practically ripping him apart. I don't care what you say, Armageddon, I'll kill them. Make them let him go!" Ambrosia's tone was just as stern as her brother's, filled with hatred and dominance. Everyone was now looking to Armageddon, Ambrosia feeling pleased that they weren't looking at her.

Armageddon shook his head at his sister and looked back to the Hybrid. "Guys, please let him go. I'm not going to stop her from doing her worst." He wasn't going to stop her and if anyone did Armageddon would kill them. No one physically harmed his sister, no one.

The men just sneered and laughed at the girl. "We have every right to kill these things after all the trouble they caused us. And besides, just what are you going to do about it?"

Xander had given up and turned back into his human form by the time the girl came. There was so many guys on top of him and one of them had his arm in an awkward position. It would likely break if he tried to get them off of him, even if he changed into something big and tough. And if he turned into anything small he would be crushed, he already was being crushed bad enough as it was.

Ambrosia clenched her teeth and slapped on her game face. Sashaying around the counter and over to the men she smiled seductivley and placed her finger under his chin. She pushed herself up against him and tilted her head to the side. "Let the boy go." Ambrosia backed up and brought the floor up from underneath the man, stopping inches from smooshing his body against the ceiling. Smiling she backed up a little more and looked at the man, waiting. It was either this or he would be killed.

Armageddon stared at his sister, grimacing when she practically threw herself at the man. That wasn't disgusting at all. Armageddon walked up and stood behind her, arms folded, his expression showing that he meant buiseness, too. Quietly he drew his sword, admiring the clean, glistening blade. He pointed it to one of the men holding the boy down. "This blade has your name, soon to be your blood, all over it." Smiling maniacally he held his pose, looking from the man to Ambrosia repeatedly.

The man screamed when the girl nearly sent him into the ceiling. "Fine....let the thing go" He said to his men. Each word laced with pure hatred. When the men realized the boy he yelled. "Get out of here mutt! And if you ever come back we will kill you, your girl friend won't be here to save you next time."


Xander ran into the trees and far from the inn. Angrily he started punching a near by tree. "Why? Tell me why?! Why does everyone hate us Bob. Why?" He sat down after a while taking deep and slow breaths to calm himself. His knuckles warm with his own blood, but he didn't care.

Ambrosia sighed and flipped her hair. Turning to the man she had came here with Ambrosia waved goodbye and went in search of the boy. She didn't care if Armageddon followed, she didn't care if she got in trouble. No one deserved to be treated like that and she didn't feel ashamed to stick up for the boy. Walking outside she looked around for a moment, a little ball of fire following her. Spotting the boy she stood there, watching him, wincing when he punched the tree. Cautiously she approached him, wondering who he was talking to.

Armageddon sheathed Nehima and turned, walking away from the men and the bar. Walking back to his table he sat down and was served his food. Eating the delicious food he savored it's flavor, once finished he stood yet again, paid the waiter, and went in search of his sister. Hopefully she wasn't finding a way to get into more trouble. As he went into the bar area he was given a bunch of dirty looks. Ignoring them he continued on, heading out the door. As soon as he had made it out he saw Ambrosia, and the boy's feet came to a stop as soon as he was out of the door's reach.


I don't know why they hate us. Perhaps next time if you bit their heads off before they got a hold of you they'd retreat and leave us alone. I really don't know the answer to everything, you know. Bob was grumpy. He didn't like being pinned down on the floor and unable to do a lot of things.

Xander jumped up when he noticed the girl watching him. He began to run again not wanted to be attacked again. Thinking about what bob was saying he shook his head to himself. Surely there was a better way then just killing everyone or running. Not looking where he was going he ran right into a tree, knocking it down. "ow.." He muttered holding his head.

"Hey! Wait up!" Ambrosia took off after the boy, not being able to catch up to him quickly. She didn't feel like running today. Finally slowing down she watched him ram into the tree, wincing again at the sight. Rushing to his side she offered her hand, curious. "You know, trees usually don't move for people. They're kinda inanimate." Ambrosia smiled at the boy, her ball of fire lighting things up in the darkness. Listening to a sound toward her back she turned her head, only to see her brother atop his stupid cloud. "Show off." Ambrosia mumbled as he jumped off his cloud.

Armageddon started off after his sister, his legs growing sore and his heart ready to give out. He hated running, with a passion. Summoning a cloud using his wind and rain, he boarded and floated above the trees, spotting the his sister and the boy who was laying on the ground. The cloud stayed where it was, Armageddon leaping down from it quietly and landing with both feet on the ground. He loved doing that. Being ostentatious was fun.

Nice one, genius. Bob didn't know whether or not to trust the girl or to leave her alone, so he left Xander alone on that one.[/i]

Xander slowly stood up not taking the hand. He looked at the pair carefully. He could feel bob leaving. come back here your suppose to be helping me with this kind of stuff. He yelled at Bob angrily in his head. "um...thanks for the help.." Xander said meekly, hoping that was all they came for and would leave him alone now.

((Does he really want them to leave him alone? ))

I really don't like that tone. And who are you to tell me what to do? Fine, I'll stay with you, but don't expect too much little buddy.

Ambrosia studied the boy, placing her hands on her hips and flicking her hair out of her face again. She debated on pulling it back but decided against it, considering how her hair kept her ears warm. "No problem. It truly was nothing." Ambrosia grinned and held out her hand again. "I'm Ambrosia. You are?" It was fun to meet people. It wasn't often when you found a teeny-weeny little Hybrid who was getting picked on.

Armageddon watched Ambrosia and the boy cautiously, not knowing what to do or anything of the sort. For all he knew the boy could be more dangerous than he appeared. Ambrosia was, that was for sure, but it was hard to tell. How much damage could an eleven year old boy do, after all? Armageddon pondered these thoughts, waiting for something exciting to happen. No matter how boring a person he seemed to be he was bored more often than not.

" I'm Xander." He said. And after a long hesitation he cautiously reached out his hand to shake hers. At least he was assuming based on what Astereal showed him, that this was what he was suppose to do. why are you so grumpy Bob? Usually all you do is complain about when you get to be in charge and lately you just back down when i actually need you.

((True. Oh so very true. And CRAP! I forgot this kid didn't really know what to do when it came to... normall things. XD))

I have no idea. I have been feeling lazy lately. I think you're doing a good job. After all, you haven't gotten us killed yet. I'm sure you'll be fine. I'll be there when you need me the most. Bob grinned to himself and curled back in a dark corner of the mind.

Ambrosia studied the boy carefully, trying to figure him out. Pulling her hand back she stuffed it in her pocket, smiling to herself. "Nice to meet you, Xander. I do enjoy meeting new people. As for my brother back there he's a bit more reserved and... boring. He's actually quite whiny and annoying once you get to know him, but then again, that might just be me." After saying this Ambrosia looked to Armageddon, smiling and waving at him. It was fun to pick on that kid.

Armageddon glared at his sister while she spoke, noticing that she just had to go and talk about him. Thinking for a moment he finally decided that it wouldn't hurt to speak. "You're one to talk, Ambrosia. Always flipping out about random things, mad one second and calm the next." Armageddon walked up beside his sister and tilted his head to the side, as it analyzing her and trying to figure out what she was.

Xander blinked and watched the two fight. He wasn't quite sure what they were arguing about. Xander just kind of backed off a bit and waited for one of them to ask him something or give him permission to leave. He observed them silently a curious expression on his face.

Ambrosia glared at her brother, Armageddon returning that glare. Sighing she turned toward him and raised an eyebrow. "I don't care if I have temper issues. I can't help it. You don't have to be a naggy, whiny, butt nugget all the time, you know. I really don't like it when you do stuff like this. You do it just to make me seem like an idiot!" Ambrosia stamped her foot, prepared to throw a fit. People wondered why she couldn't stand her brother. The twerp was evil!

Armageddon let out a loud 'huff' and looked at the ground. Thinking again he looked back up, making eye contact with his sister. "I don't make you look like an idiot. You do that perfectly well yourself." Armageddon turned from his sister and looked to the boy. "So how did that whole thing in the bar start?" The little curiousity the boy had had emerged for some reason, making him ask how it started.

Ambrosia punched Armageddon in the shoulder, as hard as she could, then turned to the boy also.

Xander stared as the two kept fighting. He was getting a little scared by their behavior. It was rather odd, he never seen people fight like this. Most of the fighting he had seen was with weapons and ended with someone dead. This was different, still scary but different. The question caught him by surprised. "i was just asking for some directions." He said. Xander flinch when the girl suddenly turned to him, expecting her to hit him to.
