A Relaxing Evening (Yumi)

"It's an elemental thing." The twins glared at each other, wondering how the other had thought of the same exact thing it had thought of.

Armageddon brought the mini cloud up to his but didn't join them, keeping them separate. "I don't know. To ocean and back? That isn't that far." It wasn't that far so Ambrosia should be able to make it. The male twin smiled and did a little circle with his cloud, getting ready. Xander's cloud mimicked Armageddon's, doing the exact same thing. It was fast and fun, enough to make a small child laugh. Clouds were quite friendly and entertaining, as they were soft and obedient.

Ambrosia looked at her brother, beginning to grow a bit envious. Her cloud stayed put, ready to fly to the ocean. "Can we go yet?" She was growing imaptient and annoyed by her show off of a brother. He was being a jerk. She could beat him, she knew she could.

"oh" Xander said a little disappointed. The cloud was really fun and fast. He liked it a lot, he watched the two fight. "why do you fight?" Most people had reasons for fighting and he was just curious as to what theirs were.

Armageddon and Ambrosia locked eyes, wondering why they did fight. They could bame it on something rather easily, but the male twin didn't want to do that. The female, on the other hand, would do it if she had to.

Armageddon looked at Xander, a blank expression resting upon his face. "I guess we fight just because it's something to do." The elemental turned and looked back at his sister. He didn't know why they fought. He couldn't put his finger on it. Half the time they couldn't even stand each other. Armageddon moved his cloud forward a little, bringing it to rest beside Ambrosia's. A smile crossed his face as he got ready to go to the ocean, racing or not.

Ambrosia studied her brother, trying to figure him out. He was constantly changing his attitude toward various things and it was driving her nuts. Dropping all her thoughts she cleared her mind and refocused. She was going to beat her brother duriing the cloud races. It would be fun and challenging, perfect for the mood of the day. "Ready? Get set. GO!" Ambrosia's cloud went forward slowly and steadily, creeping along. It would gain speed eventually, after she determined the direction and speed of the wind. Armageddon had, of course, already figured all that stuff out.

Xander blinked slightly confused by his comment. There must have been better things to do then to constantly fight with someone. He watched the girl go and waited for the ride to start. The girl certainly seemed to be determined to beat Armageddon. He wondered who would win, and if this was something they did often.

Armageddon followed slpwly behind Ambrosia, letting her get ahead for a little while before speeding up and zipping past her. This was fun, really. The trees passed under the clouds quickly, becoming a blur. The air was calm, nice, cool, and refreshing. A few owls passed by, flying along, chasing after their prey. The water elemental began to grow a little over confident, doing a few little flips here and jumps there, screwing around long enough to give Ambrosia the opportunity to pass him.

Ambrosia was a bit mad when her brother passed her, flying his cloud effortlessly. It wasn't really fair. He hadn't specified if she was allowed to try and scorh him but that would take away her concentration. She willed the cloud to go faster and it did, the wind picking up and propelling them forward. When her brother started being a dork and showing off she passed him, offering a wave to Xander. "Hope you're enjoying the ride!"

Xander smiled and waved back to Ambrosia. He was enjoying the ride but it was them that was really entertaining. They were both trying so hard to compete against the other. It was fun to watch and yet it also kind of made him sad. He didn't have anyone to have fun with. He closed his eyes and just enjoyed the wind through his hair, if only he could have more moments like this.

And people call me depressing. You know, if you didn't think things like that, you'd probably be better off. I guess I'm just the evil, angry one. You get all the good emotions. Ugh. Maybe you should have the Neromancer lady make us a playmate. Bob spoke up not really for any reason, just because he felt like talking.

Armageddon increased his speed a little, just as a little thunder came from overhead. Looking up toward the towering black clouds his cloud edged closer to Ambrosia's. She hated lightning ad thunder; scared the crap out of her. Soon she'd probably lose control. Xander and Armageddon's clouds joined, making a slightly bigger cloud for them both to ride on. A few seconds afterward the two larger clouds joined, creating one huge cloud with three people on it.

Upon hearing the thunder Ambrosia swerved, beginning to feel panic. This really sucked. She needed to get out of the sky, stat. If she didn't she'd probably end up jumping off the cloud. When Armageddon joined clouds she felt better and crawled toward the middle. "Do you mind getting us down? It's really not all that OH MY GOSH!" Ambrosia was pointing ahead, toward a huge sheet of pouring rain and cracking thunder. Unintentionally she latched onto Xander, hugging him and shaking in fear.

Armageddon forced the wind backward, whirling the cloud around and high tailing it back toward the starting line. This was a bit hard for him considering how he was multi-tasking, trying to divert the water from everyone and steer the cloud against the raging winds at the same time. "AMBROSIA! Get ahold of yourself. Honestly, chick. Get the rain out of here. If not we'll be swept into the storm and mushed." Armageddon's voice revealed no emotion, solid and serious.

Ambrosia, still clinging to Xander, began to concentrate on directing the water away. THe cloud sped up a little and then began to descend and dissipate, dropping the three on the ground.

I'm sorry Bob i can't help it, if i could change things i would make it so you would be happy to. No i can't bother her again she is already in trouble because of us. Xander spoke to bob in his head. He was caught by surprise when Ambrosia hugged him. He blinked not sure what to do, it never happened before. His attention turned to the thunder, he didn't notice it earlier. It puzzled him why someone would be afraid of it. He was glad when they landed, the cloud ride was starting to get a little boring. "um...can you let go of me now? please" He said in a quiet tone. It was really awkward to have someone he didn't know cling to him like that.

Ambrosia pulled away, realizing what she was doing. "Oh, crap. Sorry about that." She let out a nervous laugh and scooted back toward the woods. She would feel better when there was no thunder or lightning. She hated electricity. She watched as the electricity struck closer and closer to her, wanting to run away. Instead she just sat there and watched, wide eyed, hoping that it didn't eat her.

Armageddon watched the storm, feeling the cleanse it was bringing with it. Sighing he went over to his sister, pulled her off the ground, and moved her over to a smaller, less likely to get hit tree. "Lightning strikes the tallest things around, genius. If you're gunna sit by a tree, sit by a small one. And the storm is passing, anyways." Thanks to the now favorable winds the storm would be out of there in no time. Armageddon looked to Xander, silently wondering if he liked lightning.

"it's ok." Xander said giving her a nervous smile. He didn't mind stormy weather but he didn't like it either. It was just a natural and uncontrollable event. He didn't see the reason to fear it, it didn't hurt. Sometimes lighting would kill but it was only a small amount. Besides the queen was way scarier, she intended to hurt people and could think. Lighting like other forces of nature only hurt people who didn't get out it's way, it just happened no thought or intention. It just was how it was. He walked over to the two and watched them. He wondered what side they were on, everyone seemed to be on a side. Whether it was evil like the queen, good like that werewolf girl, or neutral like lightning.

Armageddon randomly pulled out a loaf of bread and tore it into three pieces. He handed one to Ambrosia who stuffed it into her mouth immediatley. He offered the other piece to Xander. Next he pulled out a shiny piece of metal, his fork. He didn't like eating things with his fingers, he found it icky. He liked using his fork. Picking at his bread slowly he finally got a piece off and shoved it into his mouth, chewing thoughtfully.

Ambrosia was glad for the bread. It might help her a little. After reciving the bread she put it in her mouth, managing to chew it and get it down to small enough bits to swallow. It was nice to have someone looking out for her, even if he was extremely annoying. She watched Armageddon pick at his bread with a fork, wondering why he was doing that. Why he had to do that it failed to meet her, but it was annoying and kind of sad. He was too much of a cleanly person to have much fun with.

"you sure it's ok?" Xander asked in reference to the bread. It was weird having someone offering food like this, especially a stranger. His next though was what the shiny metal objects were for. He wondered if he was suppose to have them to and use them for the bread. Then he saw the girl eating with her hands which only confused him more. He watched them with an expression mixed with confusion and curiosity.

"You can have it. I can always make more." Armageddon smiled and gave the bread to Xander, happy to share. He continued to use his fork, wondering if he would be able to make a delicious hand tossed salad later on. He did love salad on a blustery day.

Ambrosia continued to chew on the bread in her mouth, finally finishing it about one minute later. "My brother's wierd. He eats everything with his fork. I hope you don't think him idiotic like I sometimes do. He can't help it; he was born that way." Ambrosia looked happy, keeping her eyes focused on the little white haired boy.

"Oh is that what it is. So you are actually suppose to eat it with your hands and not the shiny metal things." Xander said in response to what Ambrosia mentioned. Xander sat down and began to slowly bite into the bread trying to fight the urge to shove the whole thing in his mouth at once. It was really good and it was a long time since he last ate anything.

Ambrosia grinned and finally looked to her brother, who was still picking at his bread with the fork. "I don't think there really is a proper way to eat bread. I'm sure other people eat it in different ways." Ambrosia shrugged and closed her eyes, leaning against a tree. The storm was over and the air was clean and fresh, relaxing. The ground was a bit squishy but not too bad; the moon was slowly moving in order to make way for the sun. Ambrosia loved the sun.

Armageddon continuously picked at his bread with the fork. He couldn't help it; he was a clean freak. That was why his portion of the house was practically spotless. When the elemental finished his bread he looked to Ambroisa and then rested his eyes on Xander. The little Hybrid was interesting and would be fun to keep around. He didn't seem to be a bad person and he didn't really seem odd or frightening in any way. Hopefully it would stay that way...

When Xander finished his bread he stood up. Night time would be over soon and he would have to leave to the denser forest area. He wondered how he would explain to them that he couldn't stay. It would be disrespectful for him to just run off but he wasn't sure how to tell them.
